“I noticed this place when driving around and decided to try it. I was happy with the selection of items to choose from and their trays were full when I walked in to order food to go. I decided on the shrimp and vegetables that came with rice and noodles. The shrimp was a decent size and I enjoyed the flavor.“
“It was Valentine’s Day, too busy at work for either breakfast or lunch. So what happens - arrived home hangry that’s what. Luckily after 33 years together - nothing done good Chinese food could fix. Place was busy. All tables in hot demand with plenty of grub hub drivers picking up. Considering all that service was still rather quick. The staff and the kitchen are super efficient. They know how to get the orders done. The Mongolian beef is great. Super tender. Hot sour soup is hot and tangy. Everything is top notch fresh and will delight your taste buds.“
“Omg!! The food was soooooo delicious I couldn't stop eating it!! Long was so attentive and sweet taking care of us the entire time!! Anything I needed he was there to bring it and help us!! Please come here and if you get Long you'll have not only the best server but best easy time !! :)“
“Really nice hole in the wall place for some delicious dumplings and noodles.Very fair pricing on their whole menu.Make sure to get the garlic spicy noodles and the chili wontons. The chili oil they use has an amazing depth of flavor and I end up using it for all the other dumplings that I end up ordering (xlb, pan fried dumplings, etc).Parking: Huge lot with even more parking on the side of the property that never seems to get filled“
“This was my first time having Chinese iron pot stew and the wait was about 1 hour for dinner on a Tuesday. The interior decor is pretty cool - it kind of feels like you're transported to China. I always love coming to these kind of restaurants because it makes you feel like you're dining in another country. We got the 2 servings Stew Goose with corn, tofu bean curd, frozen tofu, corn flour pancake, and wide noodles. All of this was perfectly enough for our party of 5. Although the soup was pretty tasty, I thought the $88 cost was overpriced for how much goose meat you get. I know that goose is more expensive, but it didn't taste much different from duck. If I were to come back, I would probably choose the cheaper chicken, lamb, or cod options. We also got the Dry-fried Mushroom, Fried Pork with Sweet Sour Sauce, and Five Vegetables with Noodle, which were all pretty good as well. Overall, this was a nice experience and our server was very attentive and friendly.“
“The golden chicken soup base is very rich and delicious, especially the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, which is sweet, smooth and tender and melts in your mouth! The food is fresh and there is nothing wrong with it. I will definitely come back again. It was a great experience “
“We had a great time here! It felt like you were transported to the mountains of China. The food was artfully presented, and it was fun to have something different in a sea of Chinese restaurants. Our group wasn’t into the super spicy, so we didn’t try the ma-la stuff. The service was not super proactive but we were served quickly when we did ask for anything. All in all a great experience. Follow @teamibrahimre for more reviews & local highlights!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the koi pond and the rocks ?There were enough non-spicy foods that my kids could enjoy.“
“Although the outside of the restaurant looks modest, this is a great hidden gem in the 99 ranch market center that offers great food and great service, all at a reasonable price. The manager treats customers like family. It is honestly a bit difficult to recommend a particular dish, because everything we've had were quite good. Even the seemingly "simple" dishes felt sophisticated and well-made. We appreciate the fact the you will not get the greasy and slightly bloated feeling after the meal that you may get from other China restaurants - I think that is a testament to their use of quality ingredients and heathier cooking process. If you have not been, give it a try and you will surely become a repeat customer!“
“We went for dinner on the earlier side with four adults and four kids. It was delicious! The staff were kind and accommodating. We got the rice bowl, noodle bowl both with ground pork, my brother got the Taiwanese beef bowl and he loved it. The kids liked the plain noodles, and it's nice you can add sides like egg and bok choy. The pot stickers are nice too. Everyone enjoyed the food! Really good and would love to go back soon.“
“Always happy to find a great vegan spot! We loved the wontons and the orange chicken was delicious. The place is a bit overpriced and they're unwilling to make any modifications which was inconvenient. We had 1 entre, two drinks, and an appetizer for $50.The decor has hospital cafeteria vibes.“
“I love spicy food and everything on the menu sounded so good. Ordered takeout and food was packed neatly and ready for pickup in 20 min. Loved the dry pot tofu dish we ordered, not spicy but good. Gizzard was very flavorful. Intestines were a bit soggy but Pbb because we took it to go. Might taste better in the restaurant. Will be back to try more dishes.“
“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“
“Happy Bee, Happy MeFormerly Rice on Dish, Happy Bee Kitchen has been on my weekly food rotation. Delicious Chinese food, served by friendly & caring staff who remembers their customers. As per usual, lunch specials are what I go for when it comes to Chinese food.Stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions-So tender! Beef, in all it's iterations, is my litmus test for a Chinese restaurant, and Happy Bee's stir-fried beef w/ ginger & scallions is a winner. Packed with flavor, I'd order this again in a heartbeat. That is, if I don't choose Mongolian beef.Peking duck-Love that crispy skin! The Peking duck was succulently decadent. The meat was unctuous with all the duck fat, and when paired with baos, vegetables & sauce, a filling & satisfying entree.Curry chicken-Normally I don't order curry dishes, as most restaurants (usually Thai) serve curry with more potatoes than protein. Here, at Happy Bee, I'm delighted to say their curry chicken was predominantly chicken. Oh so tender chicken! The bell peppers & curry provided a good amount of heat, enhanced by the addition of chili oil on my part. Really good!Service has been excellent. The staff have always been hospitable & cheerful the times I've been at Happy Bee. A good amount of seating via tables & booths, with 1 large banquet table w/ a Lazy Susan. Parking is at the 99 Ranch Plaza, with Happy Bee located next to It's Boba Time & Let's Sea Bag n' Roll at the southside of the plaza.Wonderful food, wonderful people. Happy Bee Kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat weekly. I'm having a delightful time exploring their menu, and am looking forward to what culinary delight awaits me next. Highly recommend!“
“It was actually pretty good. Better than I thought. Friendly service too. I wish they had a physical menu for easier ordering process. The bao (生煎包)was a bit misleading: Looked like regular size on the picture but were actually very small when it came, therefore overpriced.“
“Ordered the non-spicy beef noodle soup (hand-cut) and added my own level of heat. Nice broth. Wish I had seen their cold drinks lineup before getting my green tea order from the bakery. Will try their milk green tea next time along with some other dishes (lamb, cold noodles).Nice sitting area shared with the hot deli. Reasonable prices and solid portions. The lady that took my order is nice & served the food to my table. Unexpected and much appreciated!“
“Very interesting place , the food is top notch , they served you super well portions and the flavor is super , the lady that welcomes you is a character in a good way , is super nice and attentive, but with a little hyper crazy personality... their only fault is place needs to be a little more organized as you can see boxes and tables for storage and plain view ... but overall a good place ... that tea wasn't that good either ( super hot be careful)“
“Let me first start off by saying I was quite hesitant about trying this location because of the area. Not that it's a bad area, it's just that it's not a typical area you would go for dumplings. But, my curiosity got the best out of me. I walked in and it's a small location, clean, staff is friendly. She asked if I been there before I said no, and she proceeded to talk to me about the menu which I appreciate it. I end up ordering beef dumpling combo. Found out all noodles are made there which makes it way better. The flavors of the dumpling are very flavorful. I have been to several restaurants that the dumplings are decent, but have not much flavor. But, this one is loads of flavor. I can't wait to go back and try more!“
“Denny is enough of a reason to go here as any! Great service and he's someone who clearly cares about his customers (checking in with everyone and even helping someone retrieve their phone from an Uber). The atmosphere was comfortable - not fancy, but homey. I'm veg, so not the best judge of the food (I heard the beef soup noodles were great), but I enjoyed the food as well.“
“(Jeon Gabok) The food here is so great. Chinese food is spicy and makes me drink a lot of water after eating it, but looking at the photos of this place with fresh ingredients makes me want to eat it again. Every dish served was excellent, and the spicy soybean paste was so delicious with a fiery taste. Is it because everything else is so great? If I had to find a flaw in anything, the Jjambbong would be a bit disappointing. I came out too late...There is also a room here where you can have a private meal or hold an event. I asked the owner because Gaoliang liquor goes well with good food, and he said it was impossible because he didn't have a hard liquor license. But beer and other drinks were possible.I have to go again with my parents this week.“
“Honey walnut shrimp delicious, hot and freshly fried veggie egg roll yummy, half and half fried rice and noodles on point- all were very good. The portions were generous on the rice and noodles. Friendly and prompt Small space with a few tables to sit and eat. Weather was nice outside, so sat on patio.“
“It's a typical Chinese-American restaurant, with gr8 interior decor. We ordered moo shu pork and orange chicken (both excellent dishes, 5/5). We also ordered a pork fried rice (a bit dry for my taste but overall a decent dish, 3.5 out of 5). Gr8 services!“
“There's a reason why NBC Seafood has been in business for so many years. If you know Monterey Park and Alhambra area well, you'd see restaurants come and go so often that it would not be a surprise if you go to the same restaurant the second time and the name has been changed .NBC Seafood is a very good and authentic Cantonese food restaurant. Great place for a family gathering. Food is fantastic and quickly served. Everything seems to come out all at the same time so you'd get to enjoy everything at the same time.We had a party of 9 and we had a great time. And they always give free desserts.I highly recommend this place.“
“Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.“
“On a budget, large family or just have am extra big appetite, this is the place. You'll be waiting for a bit so don't go on an empty stomach. Lady is so nice. The portions are huge. She stays in business, because she gives to her church and caters.“
“The food was delicious!! My friend and I ordered 6 different plates because we couldn't narrow it down to a few. My favorites were the wonton soup and the lemon pork. The chicken fried rice was also good, uniquely salted, which we both enjoyed. The only downside was the service. We got food but no water or drinks that we ordered until we couldn't find our server for 30 minutes, and the gal bussing the tables helped us. It happens. We will be back because we have more to try. The menu's enormous.Parking: Park behind the restaurant.“
“It's always the places tucked away in a corner that are the best. You would never see this place from the main road unless you go into the business park. I've only been once and tried the orange peel chicken with fried rice. They forgot my fried rice and gave me white rice but I live near by and they were quick to fix it when I came back. The quality and taste of the food keeps this a 5 star. The chicken didn't taste cheap or full of salt and didn't upset my stomach after like other places. I would surely come back!“
“Delicious!! It’s your authentic Chinese food and they start you off with tea and crispy wonton chips that you dip in sweet sauce or spicy hot sauce. We ordered the family meal and we egg drop soup, eggs rolls for started and a meat patty that was cooked in foil. I really enjoyed the pork chops and orange chicken and both were yummy and sweet. The fried rice was spot on. I would like to try their other dishes and would come again. I only wished they had oranges but the meal was finished with a fortune cookie and almond cookie“
“Great work on the details. Service was impeccable. The food was delicious. We ordered the sweet/pungent shrimp with their signature sauce. The shrimp were fresh, jumbo, sweet, and pleasantly plump. So good!! Love the soup and vegetable lo-mein. Did not care too much for the cream cheese crab wontons. Too much cream, not enough crab.“
“Green onion pancakes are crispy, flaky, and fragrant. Dry crispy pork spare ribs with spices, amped up with chopped garlic and jalapenos. My favorite every time mala spicy prime beef noodle soup, tasty sauté of mushroom medly with Chinese celery - a perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes and their house specialSpicy noodles for those of us who like it hot! I'm so glad they have good service and consistently delicious dishes!“
“We ordered food for 12 people .Party tray chicken fried rice, veg chow mein, salt and pepper chicken, beef and broccoli, salt and pepper squid and general chicken.Everyone loved everything. I loved the noodles. I was hoping for some crispy chow mein but they do it differently and it was very tasty. Prob my fav thing. Will be ordering from here again when we are in town!“
“This is an interesting spot. It's in a mall where many of the signs don't even bother with English which is a good sign. You know you will probably get something authentic. I was passing through the area and came solo for lunch. The main dining area was filled with large round tables and was filled with customers. I was ushered to a small room with small tables for small parties like me. I asked what they were famous for and she directed me to the black cod. At $42 it was a bit pricey for lunch so I went for the three cup casserole with chicken.I'd say the food was good. Didn't blow my socks off but I would definitely come back. Service was great.“
“I've been coming here since about 2002 and have never had a bad meal here. Its really hard to when the owners are such great people and are there to greet you and even make your food for you. Both owners take turns as the chef depending on the day. Its impossible to tell who the better chef is because both have made me delicious meals. From the chef's salad to the war wonton soup, I've explored their menu and have loved all of it. The portions are generous, too. Quite a gem.“
“No time to take place picture. Food is good. We like popcorn chicken (ask no spicy fpr kids), lamb is good too, fried pork belly is better without sauces but still good. The extra point is restroom is clean, no smell bad and good too ??.Some how internet not too good in here but they have wifi tho.For price its average around 14.99 up. But I saw on the menu cooking fee for crab is $ 50 . Maybe you can ask about this before ordering crab.Portion is okay. Place is nice and clean too. They have Peking Duck. You should order 1 hour ahead according to waiter. Never try it, maybe one day.“
“The food is always fresh and delicious. Most of the time I walk-in, it’s empty so food arrive very quickly. One thing I don’t like is getting charged the automatic TIP if you bring 6 or more people to support the small business restaurant. This makes absolutely no sense here and any other restaurant. This should alway be left up to the customer to decide. The automatic TIP charge is 15%-20%.“
“I have been going here for as long as I remember. Korean style Chinese food usually doesn’t taste the same in the US compared to Korea, but this place tastes the same or even better. Our family enjoys the classic dishes which include Jjajangmyeon, Jjampong, and Tangsuyuk. I highly recommend eating here. You will not regret it.“
“My family and I are from Xinjiang. it’s super rare to find an authentic tasting dish from our region, but this place knocked it out of the park. The chef is a Kazakhstan, and makes the best hand pulled noodles. We eat here at least once a week.“
“I met my friend here for lunch as it is one of his go-to places for Tawainese/Chinese homestyle food. He ordered us a good amount of things to try - including the Three Cups Chicken, Stinky Tofu, pork spare ribs, Tawainese sausage and buns, and veggies. We had plenty to eat and everything was delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here.“
“How rare is it to find authentic xi’an noodles? Very. We read the review on LA times about this place and popped over to try today. Loved every bite of the cumin lamb noodle, Liang pi, pork burger and more. It is hard to find authentic mum&pop place these days, so happy wen hui exists. We will be back,“
“We got there during Busy Busy lunch time on Sat. We barely sat at the table at the entrance. I was not feeling comfy. The customers passed right our table at the door. No relax this time. We got the menu for special lunch. Small portion w less expensive. We ordered fried dumplings, chicken w lobster sauce, and chicken kungpao. The foods were delivered so fast even thou they had lots of Take out orders. I liked the fried dumplings, Juicy and crunchy. For the chicken kungpao, I give 3 stars, missing something. Spicy but not really flavorful. The chicken pieces are too small, I couldn't taste the chicken. We both liked chicken w lobster sauce, mild, so creamy, soft shrimps w lots of veggies. I give 4 stars. Overall, I was not relaxed due to the corner of the entrance. People and the staff bothered me. However, I want more fried Dumplings. Today's best was fried dumplings.“
“I think I would try the tacos or nachos next time. I tried the grilled cheese and bacon sandwich and wished it was a little bit bigger, whereas my co-workers got the carnitas tacos and was loaded with toppings. I also had a half Caesar salad which was what I expected and fresh. I would come back, it's a good option for families and offers a variety of food.“
“The food is good. We ordered pan fried pork bun (also called shengjian mantou), chicken wing, spicy wonton, signature fried fish, and Mongolian beef. Food came with large quantities, we three people couldn’t finish the food and had some take home.I came for pan fried pork bun, it’s really not that authentic, but still good. My favorite was spicy wonton, but still, the filling was not that amazing. The rest of dishes, I’d say, is good, but kinda Americanized. The restaurant was crowded, (maybe always :), 10min wait at least. so recommend come early, or join the waitlist online.“
“EVERY TIME I come to this location Monique and team go above and beyond. The customer service is amazing and on top of that the food tastes phenomenal! If you’re thinking of coming here to eat you definitely should! Your tastebuds will thank you! Also, I do customize my entrees and they never give me attitude for that like other locations do! 10/10! Perfect !“
“After visiting the wine bar, we ventured to this restaurant for the first time. Nestled in downtown Fullerton, it's just a short walk from Twisted Vine, where we initially gathered with old friends from Southern California. Eager to continue our conversation in a Korean-style setting, we opted for beer and Korean appetizers. A pitcher of Asahi beer accompanied by Salt & Pepper deep-fried pork (돼지 탕수육) and Wontons with Chili Sauce hit the spot, all recommended by our friendly waiter. Despite the slight chill on the outside patio, they promptly turned on the heater for us, ensuring our comfort as we savored the atmosphere, cuisine, and service during our 40 years of friendship celebration.“
“Loved the food and atmosphere was really good. I think they serve chinese/korean food here. It was my first time visiting so we had some recommendations from sean ( our waiter) and ordered sweet and sour pork, spicy lamb kebob, beef kebob , and assorted vegetable with glass noodle. Our server came back frequently to check on our table. It was great experience overall. But only downside is that price is little bit too high. Other than that , food and service was excellent.“
“This reminds me a little bit of the rolls you'd find in Taipei food markets...got me feeling a little bit nostalgic :') It's definitely a unique food that you normally don't see very often across SGV/626 regions. Don't sleep on it, give this place a try! Very friendly owners as well. We were told that the most popular options was the Spicy Fried Chicken and the Marinated Beef. Both were good! I liked the spicy fried chicken just a tad bit more. Loved how crispy the chicken was! I definitely want to go back and try the Cumin Lamb as that was also another popular option. We ordered the regular size and surprisingly satisfied our hunger for me and my bf. I think the large size means they give more meat - not that the roll is bigger. If you have a big appetite, I think this could also be a great option for a snack!“
“My first time here trying their food. Since I don’t eat too spicy, so I ordered the non spicy dishes. The fish head and tofu soup was very delicious and full of flavor, but of course lots of bones. Just need to be careful when serving the fish with young kids and seniors. The Yeung Chow fried rice had lots of shrimps, but no BBQ pork. It’s a little bit oily, but tasted good. Maybe I will ask for less oil if I order any fried rice dishes.“
“What can I say about Caesars that has not already been said. Well I fell like we only write reviews on bad experiences and I have been coming to this restaurant a few times a year for the last 40 years. I want to say my first time was around Oct of 1984 if my memory serves me correctly and we keep coming back to this place because of the consistency. I have seen multiple updates to the restaurant in this time I really the family that has run this place and last night I swear that one of the older gentleman helping out last night he one of the original owners from my childhood even though I believe his kids took over the restaurant years ago. Now let’s talk about the food. The food has been delicious every time I have come and the side bar of extra food has changed many times over the years but still has that old nostalgic feeling. This place will always be a family establishment and I will always continue to be a supporter. To the people with the disrespectful comments. Give it another try during the day or night before 8pm to have one of the best dinning experience. They have been here for many years for a reason and a bad review can hurt this family establishment.“
“When Eric is my server, he is excellent and he knows what I like. Plus, he takes good care of my mother. He amazing for a young man. The atmosphere needs organizing. Boxes all over. I managed Restaurants for over 20 years. You could tell a lot. Buy a restaurant by the restrooms. They should be clean hourly.“
“My son cannot go without dinner or lunch from here 2 -3 times a week. They don't care. Never a smile or how are you today? We have been there twice in one day. Only thing is food is good. Don't come at closing. 11:30 am everything is fresh.“
