“The food was amazing. My favorite was the cucumber in garlic sauce. So refreshing for a hot cali day. We also had the juicy pork and crab dumplings, house noodles which have baby bok choy, shrimp and beef in them. Delicious. Pork and cabbage steam dumplings were also fantastic. Sesame balls with red bean paste topped ot off for a savory sweet ending. Ended with hot tea. Definitely recommended. The atmosphere is calming and pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.“

“The food is usually always good. We really like the chicken fried rice. BUT tonight we got 2 orders of the chicken fried rice and it is tasteless. Terrible. A little dry, NO eggs, maybe 6 single peas and 3 small bites of carrots. Where are the vegetable that are usually there? Do you have a new cook? It was so bad we thought it was a different rice. The rest of the food was good. If it was our first time we probably would never order the chicken fried rice again. I gave 4 stars because historically the food is typically good. If I could, one star for the rice.“

“Panda Express is located in the food court inside Brea Mall. I stopped by for the 2-choice plate with the Dodgers promotion, and I think it was a pretty good deal for the price.

My food was ready on time, tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying. The service wasn’t particularly friendly, but it also wasn’t nearly as bad as many of the reviews made it sound. At least based on my experience, everything went smoothly, and I’d come back again if I’m at the mall and craving Panda Express.“

“This was actually my first time finding out that Haidilao has an all-you-can-eat option! We tried the $32.99 per person package, and the beef and lamb were both right up my alley—nicely marbled, with slices that were just the right thickness. Even though it’s a buffet, the portions definitely didn’t feel skimpy. I’m also a big fan of quail eggs and egg dumplings when I have hot pot, so with those added in, I was already more than satisfied.

“Happy Valley Village is a gem in Hacienda Heights! The iron-stew pot dishes are packed with authentic flavors that remind me of my grandma's cooking. “This place doesn’t take reservations, and the line is always long! I waited almost two hours on a Saturday evening for a party of four. It was VERY loud inside - turns out they had an entertainer named Adam who would sing Chinese and English songs. You could pay $20 for a song request.

You order everything on the tablet. There is a call button on each table to get service. The skewers are good but tiny portions. What’s really good here is the chicken wing! I also really like their malatang and golden soup. The meat in the soups is fatty though.

“Had the best food at Smoke Queen Barbecue: the tri tip, chicken, sausage, ribs, and delicious sides were all fall off the bone fantastic. Try the sesame slaw with spicy cucumbers, macaroni and cheese and fries. We loved the banana pudding, bread pudding, beers on tap, all with a great smile and playground to enjoy with our family. If you haven’t tried Smoke Queen Barbecue, you are missing out. So scrumptious!“

“Such a cute hidden gem in Walnut! We came for their famous Hainan chicken rice and potato noodles, and both were so good. The Hainan chicken was super tender and juicy, and the chicken rice was fragrant without being too heavy. I loved having both the ginger scallion sauce and chili sauce on the side too.

The potato noodles were probably my favorite! They are really chewy, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also ordered a bunch of their fried skewers, which were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing.

Portions were generous, prices were reasonable.“

“This is my 2nd time here. The Peking Duck is the best I’ve ever had recently. The skin is so crispy, the meat is tender and there is no fat at all. Other dishes were equally as delicious. Baby bok choy was so green, the scallion pancakes were pan-fried, … just look at my photos and you will see for yourself. I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience. Be sure to order the Peking Duck ahead of time. Service was also very good. My husband & I plan to return frequently.“

“I personally love their jajangmyeon. The best jajangmyeon I ever had was at Yong Moon Lu @ Rowland Heights (please try their gan-jajangmyeon/간짜장), but this one is pretty good too. The jjamppong is not bad either.

I really like the red bean sticky rice fried cake it reminds me of the ones I took in Beijing. The savory tofu pudding is strongly recommended. The steamed dumplings and Wonton are amazing. Only recently discovered Luyu but will forever be coming back to this hidden gem. I always order their classic beef noodle soup which is such a light, flavorful broth with these thick, knife-cut noodles. Other honorable mentions are the shrimp, pork, leek dumplings and scallion pancake. You can tell that everything is hand made -- I even enjoy watching the chefs at work through the side door! Tan came over and helped us out a lot. I observed other workers just pacing around but Tan was the only one hustling from table to table to assist. Food was great. “I'm always looking for a good place to get a 2-item combo and I think I've found my go-to. I've got a couple others closer to home, but this is worth the couple extra minute drive as the orange chicken and general tso's were both very good. The orange chicken was crispy, had a good orange flavor, and wasn't overly sweet or covered in a sticky sauce, just good flavors and a nice crispy skin. The general tso's delivered just a hint of heat and other good flavors. The chow mein is pretty standard fare. But the portions were great for both the 1 item and 2 item combos I got and I'll be back.“

“This restaurant came on my fyp so we de used to try it. I've only tried jajangmyeon once so I can't tell if what we had here is really good. We ordered jajang, sweet and sour chicken sauce on the side, walnut shrimp, salt & pepper pork and supposedly schezhuan beef but came out as beef broccoli. Didn't complain about the beef since it's freshly made. We love everything and portions are big. Atmosphere is super old.. hard to explain but clean and dingy at the same time. We will definitely come back if we're in the area. A must try.“

“The food is amazing, but staff can be rude at times. I went here to eat while carrying some grocery bags and they were very judgemental. Nothing rude was said, but staff gave judgemental looks and clearly wanted me out of there as quickly as possible. This did mean I got my food and check quicker than any restaurant I've been too before. I don't know if it's some sort of taboo to bring groceries into a restaurant, but it was only a couple bags and I don't have a car so I couldn't put them anywhere.“

“We had a wonderful meal at Fengmu in Rowland Heights! The tabletop skewer grill makes dining here a fun experience, and the bright, modern interior provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a meal together.
We ordered a wide variety, including lamb and premium marinated steak skewers, beef tendon, pork cartilage, grilled scallops, and whole squid. We also tried grilled Chinese chives, zucchini, potatoes, corn, steamed buns, and seitan. There’s plenty of variety for sharing and trying something new.
The cold noodles, eggplant fried rice, and stir-fried rice cakes with fish cake rounded out our meal, with banana cheese adding a sweet finish. A great spot for anyone who enjoys grilled skewers and a table full of different dishes to share. We would happily return!“

Stopped by here for dinner and we were not disappointed. All the food was fresh, tasty, and ample. We were a party of 8, so we ordered and good amount of food. Everything was great. The orange chicken was not as sweet as others and was really good.

Food break down:
The hot and sour soup was delicious, tasty and hit the spot.
The sliced fish in Szechwan sauce was fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked and the heat was the right amount of spice and flavor.
The pork and cabbage dumplings were juicy and tender. I wished I ordered two orders of this.
The combination sautéed noodles was great as well. A good mix of pork, chicken, and seafood with a nice light sauce. Very tasty.
The pan seared green beans were delicious. Tender crisp with “the breath” of the wok which was slightly smokey. Always a favorite.
The combination fried rice was tasty and a good balance of flavors. For the rice lovers.
The braised eggplant was a surprise hit. Eggplant can be bland but this wasn’t. It had a nice blend of spice and flavor, and was a hit.
The beef with broccoli was delicious as well. Tasty and packed with tender crisp broccoli.

The service was great. The owner lady was attentive, helpful and gave good recommendations (sliced fish, hot and sour soup). The ambience was dated, but clean. No A/C made it hot while eating. All in all a great meal.“
