We had a wonderful meal at Fengmu in Rowland Heights! The tabletop skewer grill makes dining here a fun experience, and the bright, modern interior provides a comfortable setting to enjoy a meal together.

All the meat skewers are freshly made and strung to order, so the meat is tender and juicy. What I love most is the automatic rotating grill machine — no need to keep turning the skewers by hand, it cooks evenly and saves so much trouble.
We brought our two girls here, and we had such a fun dinner together. There are different kinds of meat and veggie skewers, corn and zucchini were really good. The vibe is cozy and casual.

Last weekend, my friends and I (a group of 6 with completely different tastes) were looking for a spot to have a late dinner. One friend is picky about lamb, another is terrified of fish bones, and the rest of us just wanted something hearty. The menu has plenty of variety for sharing, including lamb skewers, premium marinated steak skewers, beef tendon, pork cartilage, grilled scallops, whole squid, grilled squid, pineapple steak skewers, pineapple beef, chicken cartilage, grilled Chinese chives, zucchini, potatoes, corn, steamed buns, seitan, tofu, mushrooms, and garlic grilled mushrooms. The Grilled Green Sichuan Peppercorn Tilapia is tender and flavorful, with meat that falls right off the bone. The Rattan Pepper Fish has the perfect amount of numbing spice. Garlic eggplant melts in your mouth.
Cold noodles, eggplant fried rice, and stir-fried rice cakes with fish cake round out the meal, with banana cheese or Grilled Steamed Buns (Mantou) with Condensed Milk adding a sweet finish. The staff is friendly, the food comes out fast, and the authentic Yanbian-style BBQ atmosphere keeps diners returning.
