“We had a great time here! It felt like you were transported to the mountains of China. The food was artfully presented, and it was fun to have something different in a sea of Chinese restaurants. Our group wasn’t into the super spicy, so we didn’t try the ma-la stuff. The service was not super proactive but we were served quickly when we did ask for anything. All in all a great experience. Follow @teamibrahimre for more reviews & local highlights!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the koi pond and the rocks ?There were enough non-spicy foods that my kids could enjoy.“
“It's been 6 months since I came to America...I really wanted to eat soy sauce..Although it was recommended by many Koreans, I had never eaten it in Korea. It's on my tongue! I couldn't find the cold soybean paste. In the United States, you can't eat freshly made soy sauce. After becoming a fait accompliYongmunru arrived at the end of Susomun Gate without any expectations...Even though I visited at 1pm, it was crowded with people. It's just famous and the taste is so-so...?Half worried...half excitedOrdered [Ganjajang, Samseon Jjajang, Jjambbong, Kkanpung Shrimp, Green Onion Beef].As soon as I saw the amount of sauce and meat mixed into the soybean paste, my mouth watered! As I am from Gangsangdo, I was very disappointed that there were no eggs in the soy sauce.Other than that, it was a Chinese restaurant with a fantastic combination of sauce, vegetables, and meat. From now on, that damn thing from Ganjjajang! If you miss the taste of cold sauce and noodlesI definitely plan to go and eat there...If there was just one thing that was disappointing...If the noodle is a little thinnerWouldn't it have been a bit awkward? Yongmunru, which I thought was...It would be difficult to find this quality soybean paste in LA.Thank you for existing at Yongmunru. The combination of fried shrimp and sauce is so bad.In the other world, Reveru...You can't find it often in KoreaGreen onion beef is a must-have menu item at Chinese restaurants in the United States...Did the incense of the fire really bring hellfire?Crazy green onion beef that won't stop you from chopping with chopsticksYongmunru is not only good at Jjajang. It's a restaurant with amazing sides.I appoint you as the Gatmunru of the LA Ganjjajang world. This concludes Jjajang Diary.“
“I love spicy food and everything on the menu sounded so good. Ordered takeout and food was packed neatly and ready for pickup in 20 min. Loved the dry pot tofu dish we ordered, not spicy but good. Gizzard was very flavorful. Intestines were a bit soggy but Pbb because we took it to go. Might taste better in the restaurant. Will be back to try more dishes.“
“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“
“Delicious vegan food!! Saw the good ratings and a vegetarian friend said, "It's the BOMB!" And it really is! Tried the fried oyster mushrooms (addictive!), hot and sour soup (legit), eggplant with basil (I could eat the whole plate), lettuce cups (so tasty), and General Tso's "chicken". While not quite like chicken, it tasted good and everything was well made. The restaurant itself is spacious, with plenty of room. It's at the upstairs corner of the shopping center. The lady who served us was nice, and there's even a robot that delivers things to you while it plays Kenny G, keeping things chill. If you want good vegetarian/vegan options, House of Fortune is a must!“
“Little Pan was a delicious stop for some Shanghainese cuisine. The star of the show was definitely the Stone-cooked Tasty Pebble Crispy Grass Carp. The fish was cooked with hot rocks in a sizzling pot. The texture was bouncy it almost felt like thinly sliced pork belly. For the stir-fry, I opted for the Wagyu Beef with Black Pepper. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the black pepper sauce had a nice kick without being overpowering. The Szechuan Style Chicken in Chili Sauce was another winner. The chicken was juicy and well-coated in a spicy and flavorful sauce. It was the perfect level of heat.Little Pan's mini pan-fried buns are a must-try! I had two varieties: the beef with a refreshing pineapple drink and the pork with a unique specialty orange drink. Both were delicious, with soft and fluffy dough encasing savory fillings. The drinks attached to the bowl of buns was a cool gimmick. To finish off the meal, I had a Tanghulu - Hawthorne. This candied hawthorn berry on a skewer was a sweet and tangy treat, a perfect ending to a satisfying meal.Overall, Little Pan was a great experience. The food was delicious and authentic, and the service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some Shanghainese cuisine!“
“This is an interesting spot. It's in a mall where many of the signs don't even bother with English which is a good sign. You know you will probably get something authentic. I was passing through the area and came solo for lunch. The main dining area was filled with large round tables and was filled with customers. I was ushered to a small room with small tables for small parties like me. I asked what they were famous for and she directed me to the black cod. At $42 it was a bit pricey for lunch so I went for the three cup casserole with chicken.I'd say the food was good. Didn't blow my socks off but I would definitely come back. Service was great.“
“My family and I are from Xinjiang. it’s super rare to find an authentic tasting dish from our region, but this place knocked it out of the park. The chef is a Kazakhstan, and makes the best hand pulled noodles. We eat here at least once a week.“
“This reminds me a little bit of the rolls you'd find in Taipei food markets...got me feeling a little bit nostalgic :') It's definitely a unique food that you normally don't see very often across SGV/626 regions. Don't sleep on it, give this place a try! Very friendly owners as well. We were told that the most popular options was the Spicy Fried Chicken and the Marinated Beef. Both were good! I liked the spicy fried chicken just a tad bit more. Loved how crispy the chicken was! I definitely want to go back and try the Cumin Lamb as that was also another popular option. We ordered the regular size and surprisingly satisfied our hunger for me and my bf. I think the large size means they give more meat - not that the roll is bigger. If you have a big appetite, I think this could also be a great option for a snack!“
“Ordered the dry pot crab from here for the first time for take out. The crab was so delicious and spicy, seriously, I'm craving it as I type this The service was quick and friendly. The decor inside is very aesthetic too, I highly recommend eating here!“
“I decided to try this place on a whim and I'm glad I did. I got an order to go and was really happy with the quality of every item I received along with the shoes of service. This place has been book marked and I will be coming back again.“
“Here for their famous Black Bean Noodle and house special chicken (marinated chicken with cucumber). Very nice combo for two people while the jajangmyeon is one of the best in town if you are craving for black bean noodles and the portion of the chick is very generous for the price. Not a fancy restaurant but the one you will keep coming back.“
“Order the pork dumplings, will not regret it.Order video Mobile qr code scanIf you haven't had szcheon style noodles and cuisine, keep in mind the food can be on the oiler side.Spice is more like a slow burn spice as a flavor with a tingling and numbing sensation. You're dishes are mixed with sour and pickled flavors with spice or sweetness.Great service, ambience is clean and modern look. I forgot about the spice flavor before ordering.“
“This is my favorite place to eat in Rowland area. The food is always on point. I believe it's one of the best Cantonese cafes in all of SGV. My favorite item to order here is the mushroom truffle pizza. Their pizzas are so good. The dough is crispy on the outside but nice and chewy on the inside. They use enough cheese and are generous with the mushrooms. I also love their fillet mignon and shrimp as well as their chicken steak meals. All the food is really fresh and quick. They are packed every day during lunch and dinner times so definitely try to come early and get a seat!“
“My review is mainly on the food cause we all know service is not always going to be amazing at these types of restaurants haha. I come here pretty often with my parents because it's so close to my house. The food is almost always a hit with a few exceptions here and there but for the most part, we always leave pretty happy and with leftovers haha. I will say over the years, the portions have gotten smaller but that's not surprising considering how expensive things are getting. Food is always fresh and comes out relatively quickly“
“Just tried dry pot for the first time and it definitely met my expectations! We ordered the Mild level spicy flavor with beef shank. The meat was so tender and juicy. Highly recommend adding the Dried Tofu Skin to your pot (it bursts with flavor!!).Also got the lamb skewers and they were juicy little morsels! Definitely will come back again to try their other dishes and flavors!Parking: Difficult but plenty of parking in Yes Plaza“
“The Decor look nice, just like a Chinese restaurant should look like. The waitress was very attentive, however, she was the only person to help the many tables. The issue that I had was they were doing some light maintenance while we were there with a power drill, and it made some noises. Other than that the food was tasty. You must get the green bean which has mala in it. They were able to substitute beef for the lamb noodle soup as my daughter doesn't eat lamb, that was tasty. The dish prices range from $15-$20.“
“Came here for family dinner. Best HK style food around this area without a doubt! The decor was nice, the food was delicious with generous portion and the service provided by John(not 100% sure if that was the correct name lol) was outstanding. He was friendly, and made excellent recommendations. We'll definitely be returning soon!“
“Came here twice with my friends and both time have been amazing with the food. We ordered two flavors: Basil and Spicy & Sour as well as some side dishes. Frogs tasted very tender and very much like chicken. Basil flavor is my favorite but it is very salty so if you can't handle the saltiness ask them to put less salt when order. The Spicy and Sour flavor is good and gets better as it continue to simmer. We also ordered some side dishes like cucumber, fried rice crusts, hot & sour chicken feet, mixed seaweed and fries. Fresh cucumbers is a great combo with these frogs. Give the taste buds a break. Love the fried rice crusts, especially when it's fresh out with the hot steam coming out of it. Dip it with the basil sauces from the basil frog pot is delicious! We ended ordered a second order. Service is okay. Both time we came, it was not busy (one being on a Friday night). However, I didn't appreciate they use plastic cup for hot water. It was burning and I was concerned I am drinking some of those melted plastic so I had to ask if they have hot cups to hold hot water. Hence minus one star....Overall, I recommend this place if you are craving for frog meats.“
“You don't want to miss this authentic Taiwanese spicy hot pot. Best in California. Hands down. For a truly unforgettable hot pot experience, look no further. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of culinary delight. Prepare to be wowed by the taste of food and the exceptional service, both of which deserve rave reviews.“
“Never realized I never left a review for this place. Always a go-to for my Taiwanese comfort food cravings. Very mom & pop run, makes it feel like home. Very accommodating as well whenever I was making a rush order during busy times or even now right before they were to close. Consistent food quality and always available/nearby is great as well.“
“MY FAVORITE CHINESE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT. TASTES AND LOOKS LIKE THE REAL DEAL BUT EVERYTHING IS OBVIOUSLY VEGETARIAN. SERVICE IS GREAT THE LADIES WHO WORK THERE ARE SO NICE. OFFERED ME A BOWL OF RED BEAN SOUP EVEN THOUGH I WAS JUST WAITING FOR MY TAKEOUT.“
“After trying out multiple Korean Chinese restaurants for the past 6 years, I can now claim this as my favorite Korean Chinese restaurant in SoCal. Came here for lunch with the husband and ordered 3 dishes: gan jajjangmyun, kan poong shrimp, and chicken tang soo yook. All three dishes were made perfectly and thats a rare occurrence in all the Korean Chinese restaurants I've tried so far! The shrimp was succulent and fried perfectly with a light but flavorful sauce on top of it. Although the dish states it's spicy, its not spicy at all. The tang soo yook was also fried to a nice crispy texture with the sauce served on the side. Chicken wasn't dry. The sauce wasn't over sweet and wasn't too goopy or soupy. The jajjangmyun noodles were perfectly chewy and sauce wasn't over salty or bland. The best part was after the meal, I didn't experience any headaches or stomachache! One downside is that the kimchi was on the over fermented side but still edible and I prefer their Korean style kimchi over the Chinese style kimchi. Service was good but I also came in when it was after the lunch rush. Got to interact with the owner who seemed nice. Looking forward to coming back in the future!“
“The spicy bacon jerky will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. That's all you need to know. I know. What could be so amazing about jerky? Well let me tell you. This is the most succulent, flavorful, JUICY, jerky you'll ever put in your mouth. It's a little pricey but so worth it. They use a Chinese method to make it juicy but this will RUIN grocery store jerky for you“
“Restaurant is now closed. There were so many noodle soup types on the menu and I had no idea what they were, so I just picked two random ones. Even thought the Taiwanese beef noodle didn't really taste like what I had in Taiwan but both noodles were delicious and spicy. Loved the buns too.“
“Major selling point of authentic taste, and that promise was mostly delivered.Three dishes are excellent, better than anywhere else, and will return for more:Shredded chicken has very good texture and excellent flavor. No ginger dip provided because it's already mixed in.Beef offal has sweetbread (pancreas ) , tripe and stomach. Very good flavor and good sauce.Lamb hotpot is very good to excellent, miso dip will persuade people who don't like the lamby gamey to love it.Three are recommended, but similar could be available elsewhere :Stir fry pork liver has good temperature control resulting in good texture, but the sauce is a little heavy for my taste.Long beans with minced pork was good to fair.Hot pot rice was fair. Good flavor but I want more crispy burnt rice at the bottom.Only dish I don't recommend is the noodles in Peking sauce. The flavor was off, not what I expected. Also tried beef offal rice noodles soup. Good to very good. And the serving is huge. Best buy.The steamed egg white desert is fair to good. Not too sweet. The chef has a tendency for bigger flavors. Perfect for anyone who does not like blandness. Overall strongly recommended.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian section available on menuDietary restrictions: Ask before ordering. Not impossibleParking: Large strip mall outdoor parkingKid-friendliness: Fair to good kid friendly. Not much hazard . Saw families dining. Didn't ask for or seen high chair.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to curb, swing glass doors. Fair spacing between tables and clear lane to toilet“
“(Translated by Google) I have been in Los Angeles for six years, and I have eaten all the duck and lo mei restaurants. This one makes me feel like eating. Everything is delicious and the price is fair.(Original)来洛杉矶六年 吃遍了所有鸭货卤味店 这家让我吃到了情怀 每个都很好吃 价格还公道“
“This is a classic Korean-Chinese restaurant. The menu is not very extensive but they specialize to the nth degree on every single item, most of them comfort food dishes. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. My suggestion, if you are into seafood and are up for something with a decent kick, is to go with their #1 item on the menu, spicy seafood noodle soup, aka Jjamppong. Another two must-try are their classic black bean noodle with diced veggies (#6), aka Jajangmyeon, and their fried pork with sweet and sour sauce (#16), aka Tangsuyuk. These seem deceptively simple dishes, but not many restaurants make them right like this one. They have several table condiments like vinegar, chili powder/sauce, salt, soy sauce, black pepper, etc. to make the dish suitable to your own taste. And every table gets complimentary yellow pickled Korean radish and kimchi, both of which were delicious, as well as hot barley tea upon request. The atmosphere was very cozy, inviting, and super clean, and the service was impeccable to say the least. One of the co-owners even came to check on us. We told her we drove from the Pasadena area because we saw the reviews. What'd she do? Well, she thanked us by giving us a coupon for a free black bean noodle dish! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend in every way!“
“We were very satisfied with all the dishes we ordered. We didn't get the popular lamb stew but got the lamb offal soup instead. We also ordered the potato salad and meat pies. The portions were huge. The lamb soup was my favorite. It was not gamey yet has strong lamb flavor. You have to add the salt and spices on your own but it gives you option to customize the taste. They have a sauce bar with great selection of sauces and spices to choose from. They also provide complementary lamb soup which was just as good. I have been looking for lamb soup which is hard to find, so I was very happy to find this place. The interior was very new and clean. The restaurant was spacious, so it can be good for large groups. Most of the dishes are for sharing. I would like to come back with more people to try more dishes.“
“My bestie and I stumbled into this "food court" and saw the activity at Ly and HAD to get in on the excitement. My eyes were overwhelmed at the rows and rows of amazing looking dumplings and treats for Lunar New Year. The order/check out was such a fervor from customers NEEDING these dumplings for family celebrations. How could we resist??? If I may, to give some level of comparison, Ly is the Porto's of dumplings. These are made fresh before your eyes and RACKS of the dumplings are wheeled about to fulfill MANY orders. Prices were good, so we ordered traditional (pork, shrimp, leek) and my FAVE (lamb) dumplings to share. There was some confusion, or perhaps the pork were only available fresh, but the lovely lady filling orders asked us to come back for our dumplings. About 15 minutes later she motioned to us and handed the order of 50 frozen lamb dumplings then disappeared for a moment to return with a HUGE tray of 50 fresh traditional dumplings. Our eyes went wide and she giggled. She then told us, 'go now get these home'. We took her advice and upon returning home, I gave each an additional dab of tapioca powder before lacing them in a freezer container. 6 of them did become a bit room temperature and sticky, so they immediately went into my boiling broth for dinner - DELICIOUS! Prefect ratio of wrapper to filling and lots of yummy pork/shrimp flavor. Some places will have more leek in the dumplings for obvious cost reasons, but these were PERFECT! We will DEF be back for more Ly dumplings! Happy New Yer and CHEERS! "CC"“
“Happy Harbor Restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes dining there a pleasure. The place looks nice, perfect for celebrations. I tried their truffle pork siu mai, soy sauce chicken, black bean fish filet, walnut shrimp, bbq pork bun, egg tart--all were incredibly delicious. The truffle pork siu mai was a unique twist on a classic dim sum dish and I really loved it, while the soy sauce chicken was tender and flavorful. The fish filet in black bean sauce had the perfect balance of savory flavors, and the walnut shrimp was crunchy and satisfying. To finish off the meal, the egg tart was the perfect sweet treat. Highly recommend trying their dishes for a delightful dining experience!“
“They offer different items & combos and man .. they sure pack up the food!! ?? chow mein was one of the best I’ve had, lots of flavor ! They do not have orange chicken.. but they have tangerine chicken! ?Comes in both regular and spicy! ? so good & flavorful! The crab & cheese rangoon was very crispy and good! And PLEASE get the beef & cream cheese egg rolls!! It was so good, I bought more to take home to share with my family? they loved it! They also offer catering & party trays for your events?“
“TL;DR Would recommend this place if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant with delicious options and your party has people with various dietary choices. This place is AWESOME. Due note that I'm writing from a position that whenever I go out to eat, I have to keep in mind the vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. They said they can provide MORE vegetarian/vegan options if you call ahead and let them know. I haven't done this and each time I went in, they've been able to make at least 4-5 vegan dishes. So good, I always have to take leftovers home. They might not promote themselves as a vegan/vegetarian restaurant but the head chef used to work for a vegetarian restaurant for almost a decade so he has tons of experience.“
“Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. The chicken was slightly dry, but not enough to ruin it. My favorite dish was the fried eggplant with clams (super delicious, I highly recommend it!!) Definitely will be back to try even more of their dishes!“
“Overall experience was good. Might be back again. I got the dry spicy pot, it was a little too greasy for me. The special soup pot was good though. The place was nice and clean. Not too many food options. The service wasn’t the best, the girl just seemed annoyed. Everything else was okay though.“
“Portion and price was good! I got the popcorn chicken as a late night snack. 1 star deducted because of service. The lady was helping me but as soon as another customer came in...she seems to jump onto them immediately and I am just...air (and neglected) lol“
“The golden chicken soup base is very rich and delicious, especially the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef, which is sweet, smooth and tender and melts in your mouth! The food is fresh and there is nothing wrong with it. I will definitely come back again. It was a great experience “
