“Took our friends to try out the food, and it was really good. Good portion, not oily and tasty. We ordered 3 dishes and it was enough for the four of us. The fish with stir fried veggies had a similar sauce to the chicken, both dishes were good. The eggplant dish was amazing. We also ordered 3 bowls of rice, and had left overs to take home. Bang for your buck!“

“If you're craving dim sum, this place is definitely worth a try. The dim sum menu is solid, offering a decent variety of dishes that satisfy those midday cravings. The food quality is good overall, flavorful, and filling. However, when it comes to dinner time, the experience takes a bit of a dive. The dinner menu isn't particularly impressive, and the foods lack in flavor. I wouldn't recommend coming during dinner time.
The service, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can be a bit inattentive and, at times, even rude.“

“Garden Bistro is my go-to for comfort food. Their Black Pepper Filet Mignon with Udon is a 10/10—the meat is always tender and the sauce has just the right kick. It’s a bit of a hidden gem in the Fullerton Rd plaza with a cozy, welcoming vibe. Great for a quick lunch or a late-night craving. Quick service and massive portions!“

“Really solid Cantonese meal. The steamed fish was delicate and clean, with a nice soy-ginger sauce. The salt & pepper shrimp were crispy and flavorful. The roast duck had juicy meat and a fragrant skin. The XO sea cucumber was well-seasoned with good wok heat, and the greens kept everything balanced. Nothing flashy, just consistently good—perfect for a casual dinner and worth returning to.“

“I feel that in keeping with Asian restaurant tradition I should award 3 stars because, as we all know, this is the perfect amount. Five stars and it's a bougie Asian fusion place that's going to rip you off. You want three stars because the service will feel inattentive to western eaters but be perfect for eastern diners. So these five stars are adjusted for my tastes: I don't want to be bothered while I eat, I don't need ambiance when eating Chinese food, and I don't want to pay extra for these. In fact, I would say when I sent the service was a little too attentive 😂😂😂. I'll also say that I ate with my friends from China so my experience was we walked in, Chinese was spoken, we were ushered into a nondescript back room, more Chinese was spoken, huge plates of the best food were delivered, a person kept checking in on us hence my comment that the service was too attentive, we fought over the bill, I lost, and we left with tons of leftovers. Asian 3 stars. Would recommend and come back.“

“We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.“
