“Some dishes were excellent but most were just okay. I now understand why this very popular place has a 4-star rating.
Har Gow and Cha-shu Bao were my favorites. Taro cake was good. Truffle shumie was okay. Squab was really small and overcooked. Chinese broccoli, just okay. Pork ribs, extremely greasy.

“I've always came to Top Island for Dim Sum, but finally get to try it out for dinner. It is my first time at this Rowland Heights location. Great location off Colima and Nogales next to TS Emporium and plenty of parking space.
We came in on a Sunday Evening, not too busy but there were couple large parties celebrating birthdays and such. It has a great menu selection with many authentic cantonese dish including roasted ducks.
I ordered most of the entree from the special menu, very affordable. prices ranges from $8.95 / $10.95 / $11.95 . lunch time comes with rice. .

We ordered : Roasted Duck (half $18.99), BBQ Squab ($18.99), Tomato Beef ($8.95), Eggplant with Spicy Sauce ( $8.95), Galic Boy Choy, Black Bean Sauce Filet, Satay Beef with Vermicelli. ($18.99)
I really enjoted the Satay Beef with Vermicelli, it was not on the speical menu but the portion was great, full of satay flavor on the beef and tasted well with the vermicelli. It is one of my favorite dishes. The other dish were also great in their own way. Just prepare to eat more than one bowl of rice. Especially with the tomato beef. the sauce will get you! Lunch time dine in comes with rice!

Private rooms are also available and they offer wedding and different celebrating hosts. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something affordable and tasty.“

Service is good and food is prepared quickly from the kitchen. And per person the price is reasonable. I don’t live here, but we seem to come here at least once or twice when my parents come to visit the grandkids.

Highly recommended.“
