“Came here on a Thursday for some dinner to-go. There were around 2-3 customers when I dropped by around 7pm.

I got a garlic veggie and a crispy noodle. Both were super delicious. The veggie sauce made it just right seasoning. Would definitely come back for some dim sum next time“

“The food is always good from here. I love the dumplings and soup dumplings. They make really good drinks. You order on your phone at the table if you eat inside. I just order mine before I get there to go. Parking lot gets full but if you don’t mind a little walk in a food heaven shopping center.“

“I stopped by on Saturday with my wife for some lunch. I heard of the fundraiser this restaurant is having with the knights of Columbus. The restaurant will donate 20% of your bill to the knights. I thought that was tremendous and admirable. We shared several dishes like vegetables chow mein, orange peel beef and some beef that I don't remember the actual name. Everything tasted fresh and service was quick even tho it looked like a good lunch rush was the going on at the time. We had some ice cold flavored tea which we both enjoyed very much. We decided to share this place with our daughter so we pick up one of the lunch specials to go. Price was reasonable, the good was delicious, service was quick and friendly. Every experience at a restaurant should go like this experience we had. Will definitely return to try some more dishes on the menu.“

“This is always our go-to Hong Kong Cafe spot. Delicious food, quick service and just hits the spot when we have our cravings. We usually get the grill items or the traditional Hong Kong chow fun with beef. Their breakfast and mid-day specials are also great.“

“KW is genuinely one of my all time favorite restaurants now. I go all the time with my boyfriend and I always am excited to try something new. The portion sizes for the prices are genuinely amazing. KW has fed me for 2 days once! I ate my dinner then I had enough leftovers still for two lunches at work. Their HK Style Lemon Tea and HK Style Milk Tea are genuinely the best I’ve ever tasted. I also highly recommend their Beef Wellington (I think it’s called KW Signature Filet Mignon) and any of their grilled category dishes. Their honey walnut shrimp is also DIVINE. Just know that this place is usually packed!!“

“I’m updating my previous review after giving Chen Kee another try, and I’m happy to say I noticed a big improvement.

Their congee pot has much better flavor and remains a very generous portion compared with many other places. The wonton noodle soup also has the flavor and ingredients I’ve been looking for. I used to work at a place well known for wontons, and I’ve also made wontons myself for many years, so I’m quite particular about them!

They currently have a promotion where all dishes are $7.77, all day, including lunch and dinner. I honestly don’t know how they do it at that price!

What an improvement from my previous experience. I’m glad I came back and gave Chen Kee another chance.

“I love this place. It’s become my mom and I’s go-to lunch spot every time she’s in town. The shrimp rolls and wonton beef noodle soup are our favorites! So so yummy and the workers are very kind and accommodating. Will be telling others about this place!“

Service is good and food is prepared quickly from the kitchen. And per person the price is reasonable. I don’t live here, but we seem to come here at least once or twice when my parents come to visit the grandkids.

“The food here is incredible! There is a genuine mom and pop feel to the restaurant in the best kind of way. The service is fantastic, I never had to ask to have my beverage refilled, they were always on top of it. “Friday 8/14/26 Lunch at The Noodle. Ordered a custom dish that is not listed on the extensive menu; shredded pork with bean sprouts chow fun wet style. This is an old time favorite Hong Kong style. Delicious and filling! The menu has extensive dishes where you can come back numerous times to try new dishes. It’s authentic Hong Kong style/Southern China foods. Lots of great dishes with their wok he (charred) flavors and savory soup base.

The service staffs were working hard and quickly for the customers. The restaurant were cleaned and the decors were average and dated.

“Features: Came to this restaurant yesterday，I lived in Guangzhou for 20 year，Finally find the best rice noodroll in LA，it taste very authentic as the original location in gz.Super delicious rice noodle roll and congee place ?Fresh rice noodle roll，terrific beef，and chili sauce with garlic is impressively fresh （Highly recommend try it with nice noodle if you like spicy）?The congee also quite good，love their preserved egg with pork congee?Definitely love this place and will come back.“

On weekends from 3PM-5:30PM, they offer an excellent afternoon team late lunch menu which is under $13!

Great wide selection of cafe style dishes, so filling you have enough for a snack later =]

We ordered:
Minced Beef & Egg on Rice - Very light savory in flavoring which is nice for lunch so you don't feel guilty. I had enough to take home to make more sunny side up eggs to enjoy it with

Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs - Comes with a large side of jasmine rice. The sour and sweet sauce is just right, not overpowering in flavor on one spectrum. There are bones on some of the ribs FYI. The sauteed vegetables is a great balance to the rib meat.

Baked Sole Fillet & Spinach in Cream Sauce - I chose pasta which hit the carb crave I was having. They had big chunks of sole fillet to balance the creamy sauce. I would recommend adding a bit of pepper if you want some adjustments to the flavoring.

The staff seated us immediately and provided their complimentary soup of the day, which was cream corn soup

“Food 4/5 - Ordered beef chow fun, chinese sausage/diced broccoli fried rice, braised crispy tofu w/ three delights, and crispy pan-fried whole flounder. Beef chow fun and the fried rice were delicious, both dishes have very good “wok-hei”. Crispy pan-fried flounder was also delicious, good crispy outside fry with the fish still being soft. There’s some soy sauce beneath the fish, but I’d like it to be served on the side so you can dip your fish pieces. Braised crispy tofu was good, tofu texture was very soft and the 3 delights (shrimp/fish fillet/octopus) were fine.

Price $$ - Price is good for the portions that were served. The plates might look small, but they have depth.

Service 3/5 - Service is average, we needed to flag down a server to refill our drinks.

Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with Chinese themed decor.

Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.“

“I feel that in keeping with Asian restaurant tradition I should award 3 stars because, as we all know, this is the perfect amount. Five stars and it's a bougie Asian fusion place that's going to rip you off. You want three stars because the service will feel inattentive to western eaters but be perfect for eastern diners. So these five stars are adjusted for my tastes: I don't want to be bothered while I eat, I don't need ambiance when eating Chinese food, and I don't want to pay extra for these. In fact, I would say when I sent the service was a little too attentive 😂😂😂. I'll also say that I ate with my friends from China so my experience was we walked in, Chinese was spoken, we were ushered into a nondescript back room, more Chinese was spoken, huge plates of the best food were delivered, a person kept checking in on us hence my comment that the service was too attentive, we fought over the bill, I lost, and we left with tons of leftovers. Asian 3 stars. Would recommend and come back.“
