“Brandon was our server and he was so nice, so funny, and explained everything to us loved it!! The wall decor is awesome, they even had robots serving your side dishes! The Diamond Tier was awesome with grade A5 the dry aged wagyu was melt in your mouth good! Just as good as what we had in Japan. Brandon cooked them up for us and we enjoyed talking with him. Celebrating my husband's birthday they sing and have some ice creamsicles ube or honeydew flavors. They do have drink stations, some extra food stations, a dessert station all of which you can walk around to grab yourself. The Otoro thick cut and black pepper beef cubes were our other favorites. Can't wait to go back!“

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.

That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.

I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“The BBQ is so good for me. Service was friendly and fast, and the overall atmosphere was warm, laid-back, and full of that Chinese BBQ charm. Whether you're a BBQ lover or just hungry for something hearty and satisfying, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is a nice place to hang out with friends, enjoy a good beer, and eat lots of meat. The lamb and pork are delicious. The wagyu beef is king. Make sure to try the peanuts they bring on the side. They're absolutely delicious and so addicting. Their cucumber salad, Dan Dan noodles, and house fried rice are also very good. Their take on potato salad is interesting mand tasty. We've brought different groups of friends here and they've all loved it. After dinner, walk around the shopping center and get some dessert.“

“On our way from LAX to Palm Springs after 10:00 pm we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. No where near what I was expecting.We had the lamb and also beef skewers and fried rice. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. This is a must try for the food if nothing else and when you’re there I recommend you ask for Cindy.After visiting with Cindy, she made it a total experience for an awesome evening of culture that was absolutely excellent.It is always nice to be able to understand and realize the actual culture of cuisine you are eating. Cindy, she made an experience of great food, a completely enjoyable experience. That was absolutely excellent off the charts. Cindy made it a 2 for 1 bonus to the evening.We will absolutely be driving from Palm Springs back to the restaurant. It was absolutely enjoyable. Not to mention the cost was nowhere near what we expected. It was almost like we ordered off a lunch menu for cost and the food that was delivered, and was ample to feed 4 instead of just the two of us.Thank you Cindy for an enjoyable evening and thank your father for being an unbelievable chef. “This location has a special place for me, as it was my favorite spot years ago when it was a different establishment. After a fire, I honestly never expected to see it come back. Last year, I discovered that it had been rebuilt as 88Q and decided to give it a shot.

I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is top notch, and the service is friendly, efficient, and fast. Everyone smiles and truly makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.

Because of the overall experience, 88Q has become my go to KBBQ spot. I will definitely be visiting frequently and recommending it to others.“

“A legit Hawaiian food spot, I haven't had a good garlic shrimp plate in CA until now (it reminds me of Giovanni's shrimps). Also, I tried their crunchy Gojujang fried chicken and beef ribs and they were delicious. I would definitely recommend these dishes as a first timer here and wash it down with Dole pineapple slushy.“

“On weekdays, it's still full after 8pm, but the similar store downstairs is not crowded. The skewers are delicious and delicious. We recommend the lamb loin, wagyu skewers, beef heart tubes and sausages. The lamb and scorpion pot meat is a bit lacking but the taste is good. Buying two beers and getting one free is a highlight. I will visit again.“

“If anyone likes noodles, try Kalgooksu jungle. They only serve for lunch and it's for two people. It's cooked on the table. Lot's of mushrooms and veggie. The stew tastes very pure. Once you're done with noodles, the server will make porridge using the remainder of the stew. No words can describe it. Simply try!“

“The food is good. They serve your order pretty fast. Maximum 5 items per order but no limit (cuz all you can eat). Minus 1 star because the inside is too smoky. The exhaust hood is not strong enough to get all the smoke out. Overall, I still recommend this place with such value and quality of the food.“

“I’ve been to the La Habra location and it’s nice to know that the Rowland Heights location is just as yummy and has the same amazing deals like their lunch specials at $22.99. I do really enjoy that I can instantly eat because the marinated meats are the meat buffet . So no waiting involved except for the grill to be heated!!! There are over 7 different types of proteins at the meat bar and other set menu of items you can order with your server like beef belly and brisket or thin sliced pork belly. Their higher priced sets include LA Galbi, Seafood, Steamed Egg and so much more. I love how I can end my meal with a JIN RAMEN . If you never had Ramen at the end, you need to. It’s 10/10!“
