“My family and I come here pretty often, and today we came to celebrate grandpa’s birthday. I was actually the one who suggested Yangmani since we’ve always had a good experience here.
We ordered two Chef’s Cut Combos and one Variety Combo for the table. If you’re a big meat eater, the portions might feel a little small, but for us it was plenty and we left pretty full. The meat quality is always really good, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
The staff is also always really nice and friendly. There are so many new Korean BBQ places opening up these days, but somehow we still end up coming back to Yangmani in Rowland Heights.
I wish I had taken more pictures though! I only took a picture of the first round of meat, and after that we got too busy eating and I totally forgot. 😂“

“Had a great experience at Eighty Eight Q! The food was really good, but the service from Hermione was what really stood out.

She was super attentive and somehow always knew when we needed more meat, sides, or dessert. She would check in at just the right time without us having to flag her down or ask. It made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.

You can tell she really pays attention to her customers and takes pride in her service. Definitely one of the best servers we’ve had at a Korean BBQ spot. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

I love that they serve a mountain of meat on a broth on the grill. The meat is mixed with veggies and mushrooms. The soup is a good balance of savory and sweet.

I ordered bibimbap to complement our seng bulgogi. You can add your own gochujang which was nice because I dont like mine too spicy.

The service was very friendly and attentive.

Gui Gui 9292 on Colima Road is a solid all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot that delivers a lot for the price. The brisket, beef belly, pork belly, and marinated short ribs were all flavorful and cooked up nicely on the grill. The self-serve bar for sides, sauces, and wraps means you don't have to wait on refills. Steamed egg and corn cheese round out the meal well. The dining room is spacious with good ventilation, so you don't leave smelling like smoke. The lunch special is one of the best KBBQ deals around, which makes it an easy pick for a midday meal or a group outing.“

“Came here after being slammed by ads from Instagram... Price for an AYCE was what had me interested, especially in this economy.

First off, if you can, carpool to this place. The lot is very tiny, has very limited parking spaces, and anything larger than a 2026 Ford Explorer might have issues squeezing into a spot since the lines seem like they were made with smaller cars in mind, and be sure to use your parking breaks for certain spots - the incline is pretty steep... There are other businesses in this plaza, so expect parking competition.

The restaurant is pretty dim inside, but at least the pop music isn't very loud like other establishments (I'm looking at you, Gen BBQ!) and it's rather cozy. They have a self serve area around the corner with their regular items while the more premium stuff requires ordering off their menu via QR code, so make sure you have someone with a fully charged smartphone.

Service is prompt and super friendly, always making sure we have plenty of water (it was 109F that day). Order menu is a bit small, but for $20, I can work with it since they had the self-service area.

My only gripe, however, is that the food tends to run on the sweet side, especially the glass noodles (also missing a lot of the veggies here...) and bulgolgi. Even their salads were really sweet that day when I was expecting the usual sour vinegar kick I get from other similar establishments. Hopefully, next visit will be slightly different and won't be as sweet...“

“Voted North OC’s favorite neighborhood Korean spot for decades, we are at Soy Tofu in La Palma. Yes, that one Korean restaurant next to Han Nam Chain aka Super1 in La Palma, CA. It feels like a secret because it’s as cozy and comforting as grandma’s house. This is a spot where everyone goes to for Sundubu (Korean Spicy Tofu Soup served boiling hot), or if they want Naengmyeon (Korean Buckwheat Noodles in a icy tangy broth) on hot summer day, or Bibimbap (Stone-pot Korean mixed rice filled with vegetables and meat with a spicy gochujang sauce and sesame oil)—just something comforting, and what they’re used to. This place has been there forever, and it’s under the same owner who wants to spoil us with her Korean recipes. The food is the most delicious. $39 for all you can eat. It gave us favorable ribs and bulgogi. Those were our favorite.

We had the order rice paper, tortilla, and salsa constantly since we were with Mexicans. They totally understand their customer. Worth thr drive for quality.

I was able to enjoy my squid cut up by small. Constant grill change. It was impressive.

“So surprised have a $23 lunch price and it’s available even on the weekends, which is honestly hard to find. I went with the $40 combo and you get unlimited meat, plus they have an AYCE meat bar where you can serve yourself and grab even more meat.

We tried all five meat selections, and the salad bar had so many options—everything was fresh and delicious. Lunch also included one ice cream bar per person and coffee.

For only $29.99 per person, it felt like an incredible value. The servers were also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Ordered their combo of spicy cold noodles and LA short ribs, noodles is good with the authentic Korean taste, same as the LA ribs, meat were well marinated and grilled with good portion.

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻‍♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.“
