23 Best Asian Fusion Restaurants in Anaheim

“Located in a shopping plaza that both has businesses that have been there for ages, but has more switch over businesses. Currently I have seen the restaurants that pop up in this location, ive seen it at least 6 different things. I will say Sona is the first one that actually caught my eye to try, and I am super happy that I decided to come here during my lunch break. The pictures I uploaded are just the few other times I have come here.

As someone said it best in one of the reviews, a Vox dupe. One thing they do have over Vox kitchen, most times there is no wait, at least the few times I have gone.

There is plenty of parking, never had an issue. They are also open late which to get this kind of food at that late or early times, that's a damn treat!

Inside always kept clean, the staff that work there are very friendly and on top of things. They checked up on us in a timely matter, cleaned tables as soon as diners left. The food came out pretty quickly too. Here is what I have had:

Spicy Shrimp Wontons - These were good but I felt like they could have been better, mind you I had these not too long after they opened, seeing recent reviews it seems like this could have gotten better, I will try these again and update. Regardless they were still good!

Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries: Each time I have gotten them has been the filet mignon, why because each time I have had them it has been too good, cooked perfectly for a nice texture, seasoned well that it doesn't over power other things, but more so compliments but uppercuts the tonsil to let you know its got beef with you. Now I have had this with rice and garlic noodles. I recommend going garlic noodles because they are delicious, lots of garlic! You know what compliments garlic very well....STEAK! I have said one thing Vox has on them with this dish, is Vox French fries are still super crispy even with sauce on them. I will say the last time I ordered this dish (last week) each time they have gotten better with the crunch! I will try the other proteins offered in due time!

Golden Pear Salad: Delicious! Now I can't tell you if there serving size of this salad is bigger at Vox, but eating the salad totally made me forget about it. I am half lactose...my stomach decides what or when I will react to dairy, but that burrata cheese mixed with everything in the salad, it needs that creamy cheese to hold the sweetness and pepper like from the arugula. I will say I didn't dodge the burrata cheese and luckily it never got me, so huge win win! I also want to say I think its cheaper here than the vox, so its more manageable to always have this to start before the entrees.

Signature Vietnamese Pho - Wife ordered this last visit with wagyu brisket, pretty solid bowl of pho. Is it my favorite no, but its better than a lot of others places I have been too. I think it will easily be a hit for tourists going to Disneyland that has never tried Pho.

In conclusion, Sona Fusion Kitchen has been a place that myself and the wife will crave. It also has been a easy recommendation for any one at work to go try. I know I have a few co-workers that have been multiple times now. For anyone at Disneyland looking for a place to eat, come through! I want all the business to support Sona but at the same time I enjoy not having to wait to be seated!“

“Great food and service! My husband loves ordering fried calamari everywhere, and this place has his all-time favorite fried calamari! Has great food for both an adult palate and kid’s palate so everyone’s happy. Kid got a banh mi sandwich and ate the whole thing! They made it not spicy. Surprisingly kid friendly. Can’t wait to come back here on our next Disney trip!“

“Got the chicken sandwich and chicken quesadilla. The chicken sandwich had two big pieces of chicken and was really tasty and spicy. The chicken quesadilla had BBQ chicken flavor. Full of chicken. Both were very tasty. The owner was really friendly and helpful.“

“Yummy pho! Super clean restaurant and great service. I have tried both the chicken pho and the beef pho. Chicken pho is so good especially with the fried donut. I like getting dark meat only. Their garlic fish sauce pairs so nicely with it. For the beef pho, they only have it with the rare steak but the broth is so good and flavorful. Highly recommend!“

“I was in the area and had missed my lunch so I decided to give it a try.
I got a build your own mini bowl with Beef and Dalcom (spicy&sweet) sauce. As a Korean, I knew this place was going to be good because they use actual kimchi and Korean gochujang sauce. But they also have other toppings and sauces.

The mini bowl felt like Regular size bowl. I am full and satisfied~“

“Yummy and affordable place! You can phone order directly for pickup (MUCH cheaper vs. ordering via UberEats pick-up) and staff is VERY kind and professional. By the time I get there, food is hit and ready! Highly recommend doing this if you are in a rush, have no time to wait. Food is delicious!“

“We found this place after spending the day with our family at adventure city, and man are we glad we did! Today was our second time going and this will forever be our go to spot! From the first visit we were greeted with a warm welcome. Keep in mind we were a big party, 4 adults and 3 kids.
Our waitress was pleasant and very informative, she gave us menu suggestions for the little ones and recommended shareable plates. We struggled for many years trying to find an authentic delicious tai restaurant so when we got our food we were blown away. We ordered the drunken noodles, Tom yum soup, sea food soup beef and broccoli, rice and chow mein. Everything was delicious and in generous servings.
We also got the sticky mango rice for dessert, The dish was fresh warm, soft and sweet, everything you can ask for in a dessert. Im glad to say that the second time around was just as good. Im leaving this review in hopes that others find this delicious place! Cant wait to go back. Its become a family favorite.“

Foubf AM Thai Fusion on google and it was justvaround the cirner from where we were staying. We.ordered a starter a main dush and fries ruce dish. The portion sizes were very large and the food tasted amazing and great value for your money.“

“Everytime we come to Yorbalinda we have to stop by the Bangkok house Thai, serves one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had even my 3 year old loves it!! We usually order the same, wonton soup, shrimp chow mein and yellow curry this time we order orange chicken and OMYYYY LORD best decision of my life!!! It was crunchy, chicken was soft not too much sauce but definitely not dry. Just perfect.

“Our server Angelina was such a breath of fresh air. I am pregnant and had a difficult time enjoying my first soup (egg drop was too gloopy and strongly flavored for me) and she quickly suggested we have it changed. I ended up getting wonton soup which was WAY better. She was so attentive and made us want to come back eventually.“

Thanks to Covid the indoor seating is unavailable, but there are tables you can eat at.Parking is usually challenging in that little corner, so I would recommend parking a little further out by the back side of the Golden Corral and just walking a few aisles over.“

“My partner and I decided to order a quick grab & go after our workout. We wanted to find something healthy. It was around 10pm, and we found this ghost kitchen that served many foods from different restaurants.

Parking: This ghost kitchen is located in a lot. It looks a bit sketchy, but fear not. Free parking, but finding a spot can be difficult. It’s super busy, and I noticed there were a lot of food delivery workers going in n out.

Environment: It’s a very small space. No dine in. There are lockers to the right where you’d pick up your food when it’s ready. We didn’t place an order online, so we ordered through the kiosk. I don’t think they take cash. Everything seems contactless.

Service: We didn’t speak to anyone. It was self order, and we waited for our food. We were texted when our order was ready. Throughput was under 10 minutes.

What we ordered: I ordered the chicken rice & cabbage bowl, and my partner ordered the protein lover rice & cabbage bowl and a coconut green smoothie. I really liked my bowl! The multi grain rice paired well with all the toppings, chicken, and sauce. The cabbage was fresh and not soggy. Careful for the sesame seeds, it might get stuck to your teeth lol. I’d prefer a bit more chicken, but other than that, I enjoyed it. I also tried my partner’s bowl. His bowl definitely had a lot of protein! It was all delicious! The toppings were similar to my bowl. I did not try his coconut green smoothie bc I don’t like coconut, but I’m assuming he liked it since it was gone in 5 seconds.

Pricing: The chicken rice & cabbage bowl was $11.95, the protein lover rice & cabbage bowl was $15.65, and the coconut green smoothie was $5.95. I’d say it’s worth its price. The bowls left us fulfilling, and we enjoyed everything.“
