“We’ve wanted to try this place and it lived up to the hype! Lamb skewers were juicy and flavorful. The grilled shank was the star - tender, crisp outside, and piping hot. Loved the spices + the fresh homemade yogurt after. 🌟Only note: 12% service charge gets added to the bill, it’s okay but preferred to know upfront🌟- Great food, friendly service. Recommended!“

“We arrived earlier than the food truck and almost missed them, but luckily right as we were looking for dinner alternatives they pulled in! Absolutely delicious, we ordered the 24" chicken shawarma meal with extra pickles. The chicken was super delicious, and the fries really hit the spot. Highly recommend!“

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. Owners are pretty amazing too, super friendly and down to earth. Thank you Baran!!!!❤️“

“Absolutely smackin'. Always love some good chicken and I like how Dave's has spice levels so you can choose how spicy you'd like your chicken. Food was absolutely amazing and the loaded shake was great as well.

“Overall, the restaurant was average. The Mongolian beef was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The honey walnut shrimp was the standout dish and had good flavor and texture. The chow mein, shrimp fried rice, and kung pao chicken were all fairly average and tasted about what you’d expect from a typical Chinese restaurant.

One positive was the very generous portion sizes, which offered good value for the price. While the food was satisfactory, most dishes didn’t stand out enough to make this a destination spot. Overall, an average dining experience with large portions and a few highlights.“

Our experience was quick, easy and convenient.In support of small businesses, we always avoid ordering through Grubhub, postmates, etc. (Phone in your order to ensure they receive 100% of your support!) We Dm’ed our order via Instagram and received a text with details of when our order would be ready for pick up. “Found it by total coincidence! They served steamed spicy fish, which is my favorite Thai plate. They delivered. Don’t let the aesthetics and location fool you. This place is family-run and family oriented. I will back with friends. Halal meat is an extra touch too. Takeout available till 7:30PM.“

“Overall, I had a good experience at Abu Omar Halal. The service was excellent, friendly, fast, and deserving of 5/5.

The shawarma itself was good, but there are two areas that could make a big difference. The garlic sauce was decent (3/5), but it could be richer and more flavorful. The biggest disappointment was the pickles (0/5). I highly recommend making the pickles in-house using an authentic Mediterranean recipe instead of the current ones.

With a better garlic sauce and authentic homemade pickles, the shawarma would be on another level. I hope they consider these improvements because the service and overall quality already provide a strong foundation.“
