I had a cheeseburger with a smile served and their famous sugar cane water. Superb. I also had a Chai tea. Delicately Hot and I warmed my hands up as I sipped away and day dreamed. Service was extraordinary, matched by the unique touch of serving drinks in metal, regal glasses that elevate the dining experience to one of noble indulgence. Having the pleasure of meeting both owners, their dedication was evident in every aspect. Every single metric — the spices, the freshness, the depth of flavor, the portions — it all checks out in a way that’s increasingly rare to find.
For years, Shahnawaz was my go-to Sunday brunch spot, and I loved it. But after discovering this place, there’s simply no comparison. The food here is better in every way. It’s not even close.

“first time. lovely experience. everything was very good, but not extraordinary. the avocado toast was pretty bland, couldn’t taste the avocado or cream cheese. the turkish coffee was a surprise - i don’t usually drink black coffee unless it’s very good coffee, this one i could drink it black. loved the candy that came with the coffee. service was basic, more like neighborhood family restaurant style, and they both were on the quiet side. the decor was nice and chic, not so fancy. the place was clean and quiet. overall, it’s good but on the pricier end.“

He was honestly one of the friendliest employees I’ve ever interacted with. His enthusiasm and kindness made the whole experience feel really positive. “I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“

“I recently tried Kimo’s Shawarma and it was honestly one of the best shawarma spots I’ve been to. The meat was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and you can tell everything is made fresh. The garlic sauce was rich and creamy without being overpowering, and it paired perfectly with the warm, soft pita.

The portions were generous, especially for the price, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place itself was clean and had a relaxed, casual vibe.
