“This was our very first time ever eating Dave’s Hot Chicken and for our first experience it was so perfect! We got lucky and got a chance to snag THE FALLOUT meal! We have been going to so many locations for it and it was SOLD OUT! The staff was so nice to us and we can’t wait to come back again. “We were warmly welcomed by the owner who guided us through the menu. We loved every bite - samosa with beef, lamb kebab, uyghur polo (lamb), and the authentic laghman (lamb with hand pulled noodles.) We also had the spiced blossom tea and herdsman delight yogurt dessert. Everything was sooooooo yummy. This restaurant is worth a special trip from Michigan.“

If you grew up eating authentic Pakistani food or have ever chased that real, unapologetic desi flavor, you know exactly what I mean when I say most places just don’t hit the mark. This one does. Every single metric — the spices, the freshness, the depth of flavor, the portions — it all checks out in a way that’s increasingly rare to find.
For years, Shahnawaz was my go-to Sunday brunch spot, and I loved it. But after discovering this place, there’s simply no comparison. The food here is better in every way. It’s not even close.
The only “problem”? It’s a bit hidden. No flashy signage, no hype machine behind it — just incredible food waiting to be found by the right people. And that’s exactly why I’m writing this. If you haven’t been, you are genuinely missing out.

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. “Overall, the restaurant was average. The Mongolian beef was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The honey walnut shrimp was the standout dish and had good flavor and texture. The chow mein, shrimp fried rice, and kung pao chicken were all fairly average and tasted about what you’d expect from a typical Chinese restaurant.

One positive was the very generous portion sizes, which offered good value for the price. While the food was satisfactory, most dishes didn’t stand out enough to make this a destination spot. Overall, an average dining experience with large portions and a few highlights.“

“This place has the best NY PIZZA in socal that I have ever tried. Don’t let the name fool you, the straight cheese and pepperoni slices are on another level. The crispness of the dough and slightly salty beef pepperoni pair well with the cheese and sauce and gives a nostalgic deliciousness that hits every mark of what pizza is meant to be (in my opinion). Can’t wait to try the wings next time!!“
