“Went to get a take out butter chicken pizza. When I got home I was amazed how much toppings they added to the pizza. The whole pizza was filled with chicken! They don't skimp on thier meats! The pizza was delicious and my family loved it. It has that good curry spice to the pizza. One of the best indian pizzas I had recently. Keep up the good work, you gained a new repeating customer!“

Q) So, Rodney, where did you go for lunch?
A) To Pak.

Q) 2pac?! The rapper?!
A) No, to Pak. I went to Pak Halal in Artesia.

Q) Oh, I see. Was this your first time visiting?
A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.

Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.

Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.

Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth

Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.

Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere“

“Their food is divine! Their Dave's sauce is so delicious!! The seasoning on their fries, chefs kiss! The combination of the flavors are pure ecstasy in the mouth. I love that the original/no spice still has a lot of flavor.

This location is a bit small compared to other locations. The workers seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by the many orders coming in.

But I would 1000% recommend this place. Actually I should thank their Fallout promotion. I tried it for the first time in my life because I wanted a stimpak and I immediately fell in love.

“We arrived earlier than the food truck and almost missed them, but luckily right as we were looking for dinner alternatives they pulled in! Absolutely delicious, we ordered the 24" chicken shawarma meal with extra pickles. The chicken was super delicious, and the fries really hit the spot. Highly recommend!“

I had a cheeseburger with a smile served and their famous sugar cane water. Superb. I also had a Chai tea. Delicately Hot and I warmed my hands up as I sipped away and day dreamed. “Decided to stop by here on the way to LA after a delicious ice cream treat. We ordered quesadillas and their tacos. The food was spot on and this is after us having some ice cream. The food is prepared outside on the parking lot in front of the store. I love their green sauce and they’re very generous with their cilantro and onions. The service was amazing as the young lady made great recommendations and she was very nice. The ambience is nice because you have a choice of sitting outside on a nice day or if it’s cold you have the choice to sit inside the marketplace.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“

“Recently discovered Dave’s, especially the Hot Mozz’s thanks to instagram and all of the people showing themselves eating Mozz from Dave’s Hot Chicken. Dave’s did not disappoint, the Mozz were amazing and service at the Long Beach Circle Dave’s was great. I have to point out that Lizzy who took my order is an absolute angel, very professional and so accommodating. I’ve been there wove and she has provided the best service. Keep up the great work 🥰“

“I have been coming to this establishment for a couple years now. It’s one of our faves and we find ourselves here quite a bit. It’s family owned and the meat is halal/zabiha. It’s located in Downey and the space inside has a decent amount of seating. They cater as well and I am pleased to say their catering food is as good as eating it inside the restaurant.

My fave items are :
⭐ Chapli beef kabob- it comes with rice or bread
⭐ Mantu (meat filled dumplings) with lentils on top
⭐ Potato Bolani- potato filled paratha (bread)
⭐ Qabuli Pulao- rice with lamb shank
⭐ borani banjan- egg plant dip

“The food is pretty good, with a huge variety and different ways to dine in with chicken. I especially love their sauces, its to die for. I loved the service as well, I had a worker named Rory who brightened my day with small talk. Not only that they were able to get my order up fast and easy with no complications and even after giving me my food, a big 'ol thank you and have a nice day from Rory made me feel comfortable in the space. All and all amazing place to dine for fast food- would try again!“

“Quality Indonesian restaurant with real Kechup. We went for Father’s Day and didn’t have a long wait for seating. The staff was friendly and patient with our ordering and questions about the menu. I had just returned from several months in Indonesia the food at Toko Rame was pretty authentic and had a good taste of Indonesian flavor. I ordered the egg noodles with chicken and ate everything😊 There are some lunch specials and they have many traditional Indonesian drinks. I shared the menu with my friend in Jakarta and she said the menu had many items common in Sumatra. I’d recommend it and try a few different items to get a good variety since it’s hard to decide if you like it based on one dish. They seemed to do a good take-out business while I was there also.“

They were backed up as when I first got there they were a little short staffed as The Friday Dinner rush was starting, but they kept their cool, their extra hand showed up, and they did well. “We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!!
