“Forn Al Hara has been a delightful experience. The fusion of cheese, meat, za’atar and sujuk in their pies creates a harmonious blend of flavors that tantalize the taste buds and send me back to Egypt. The crust is flaky, and the fillings are generously packed, offering a satisfying combination of textures. The unique selection of savory pies distinguishes this place, making it a savory haven for those craving a Mediterranean style pies.“
“5/5 service, 4/5 food, 4.5/5 value It was my first time here and the new female employee (I didn't catch her name) was really helpful and friendly with explaining the different sauces and options. I got the doner kebab rice plate with chicken/beef and garlic sauce and "warm butter tomato sauce with turkish name". The meat was tender but not that flavorful, probably to better pair with the many sauce options. Salad was freshly mixed and crispy except for the parts touching the rice. It'd be nice if they could separate it somehow to avoid warm, soggy lettuce in some places. Portion sizes and quality are about fair for the price, but the yelp check in hummus is huge which makes it a great value imo. Interior and bathroom are clean and well maintained. Overall, the flavor was good though not great, but the service and value bring it up a star.“

“It's all about food! My family and I enjoyed a delightful iftar at Al Baraka, where the food was delightful. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for serving such delicious dishes. The highlight of our experience was when the chef/cook personally visited each table, inquiring about the quality of the food. When it comes to recommending a dish, they're all good. Her warm hospitality and the genuine smile she wore, despite the long hours of cooking, left a lasting impression on us. We will undoubtedly come back. ?️?“
“The place was really nice inside and the area “outside” had this ceiling warmers that make the area cozy and nice. The service was fast, friendly, welcoming and courteous. What I like the most is that they don’t add the typical suggested tip percentage to the bill, for a place this nice and a service this good I’m actually surprised. The food was really good, tender beef, chicken and the salmon as well; Big proportions and tasty crunchy panini bread. We didn’t get to go inside or use the bathrooms but the next time we’ll do just out of curiosity lol. They serve wine, beers and many variety of alcoholic drinks, but we didn’t try any tho. The hot chocolate, I have to say tho, was not quite hot but warm enough, although for me, a hot chocolate has to definitely be HOT ?, by that is not any reason to not give this place 5 well deserved stars;, especially because of the service, really good service.Recommended ??“
“I came in here for a snack and found the interior to be a delightful surprise - how charming! The brightly colored painted walls and lights made it so bright, cheery, warm, and welcoming. The service here was focused, professional, and kind. I loved how our food was brought out on a charming tray and our server removed each individual item with care and patience. It was a quaint experience to end our night with. I was also surprised at the culinary experience. We did not order much, as it was only meant to be a snack. I felt that they went above and beyond to complete our dining experience. The food felt very homemade in the best way possible - it was homey and comforting. The bread that covered the spinach pie (which was way larger than I was expecting) was fluffy, filling, warm, and just out of this world. The ideal bread experience! I am personally not a fan of the chicken shawarma here - it was reminiscent of street food/the Halal guys in the sense that it was more boiled meat than shawarma meat.. but the garlic sauce was uhhhmazing, as was the hot sauce, which was spicy with a hint of a sweet aftertaste. I am not a huge fan of soda, but if you have not tried Vimto, it is a MUST try. It complemented our food so well and I was beyond satisfied with this purchase. The food here was not exceptional, but I would give this experience overall 5 stars.“
“Had the pleasure of doing an Iftar here with some friends. All you can eat buffet style, with various koftes, rice, spreads, potato dishes, stuffed grape leaves, whole lamb legs. Huge dessert spread top with qatayif. The chicken dishes were a little dry, but the overall quality and variety were great.“
“This is a great place to eat at. We come from Utah, every time we come into town we stop by 1 or 2 times. The lady that was working Thursday night she went out of her way to help us even though they were about to close. Food is amazing-humus, share an and chicken tawook.“
“Sooooo good!! Making Baklava at home can be fun sometimes but to have a spot close by to get your fix is lovely! The parking lot can be a bit chaotic but I park further out and it's easier. The women working there are sooooo nice and they even let us have some samples as we were choosing! It is all personal preference but we definitely prefer the pistachio over the walnut pieces and the little rectangles were our favorite. We also grabbed a couple of items that were bigger and they had cheese in them. They were very good but a little greasy. We have been here before and we will continue to come back! Thank you for sharing your delicious pastries with us!!“
“Affordable Middle Eastern food that is delicious and tasty. They grill / cook everything you order. The portions are very generous too. They give you a humongous bread with hummus while you wait for your food. They make it from scratch so you will have it to your table straight from the traditional oval type of oven. Complimentary Salad is served too.Drinks are self serve. You get what you want in the fridge near the counter.Owner and the servers are friendly. Plenty of Parking too. Been going here for years and will continue to go back for kabob cravings.“
“The best Knafeh on the West coast. We ordered a 16’, the owner prepared it fresh and cooked it for us. We took it home and heated for our guests! It was delicious. While waiting for the Knafeh I ordered a Chai Karak and a hareeseh with pistachio, must try if you haven’t already!“
“Not the typical Mediterranean restaurant. They offer some special dishes you won't see elsewhere. I went with the old standards.... Excellent kabobs, baklava, and hummus. Great place to eat before a Ducks or Angels game because within walking distance of both venues.“
“Excellent and very delicious beef and chicken shawrma, very authentic and similar to what we ate in a Levant country, which we don't usually find elsewhere in the US ??? They were also made in very well balanced way which does not upset your stomach, forexample without having too much, fat, oil, spices, etc. The beef shawarma was the best we had from all the other places in socal. Thanks a lot for providing these well-made foods which make us very happy???“
“I ABSOLUTLEY love this place!! The food is amazing and fresh. The owner is so polite and helpful. I buy the frozen falafel so now I don’t have to make it myself. I’m so happy I found Kareem’s. I’m not sure who hurt that poor guy with the negative review. Boy bye!! This is the best Mediterranean food in SOCAL!!!“
