The Egyptian food is absolutely delicious – authentic, flavorful, and feels just like home. 😋 The portions are very generous, and the prices are really affordable, which makes it even better. The service was excellent; the staff were so kind, welcoming, and always smiling, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real Egyptian cuisine. “The food was amazing! We ordered the foul, falafel, and mansaf. It came with pickles, pita, and extra sauce for the mansaf. The Foul was creamy and lemony which made a great dip for the pita and falafel. The falafel was so fresh you could taste the herby goodness and every bite was crunchy. The mansaf… I’ve never had it before and it was so good! The lamb was perfectly cooked! Any my hubby doesn’t like lamb but loved this dish. The rice was flavorful and buttery with the toasted almonds adding a nutty, crunchy texture to the dish. And the sauce to pour over? Just divine. This was a last minute lunch pick and I’m glad we picked it. I’m looking forward to coming in another day to try another one of their specials.“

“First of all, I came in around 3 PM on a Sunday for my lunch from work and I was really wanting something warm but I wanted to support a business that I have never seen before so I decided to come here.

The nicest person greeted me. I’m pretty sure he is the owner.

I lived in San Diego and I have worked in Anaheim for a while now so I have tried many different places that offer falafel.

The falafel are genuinely so soft on the inside of crunchy on the outside that it makes you wonder if the places I had previously gone to how to previously frozen falafel because this taste out of this world.

So crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside and I’m literally going to continue to reiterate this because as I’m eating, I’m writing this !🤣“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Saffron Grill! The outdoor patio is absolutely adorable — such a cozy and relaxing space to enjoy a meal.

The service was truly exceptional. William was incredibly polite, attentive, and thoughtful throughout my visit. He made sure my water was always refilled, brought extra sauce without me even having to ask, and checked in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect.

I also really appreciated that they allowed me to take my time and enjoy my meal on the patio without feeling rushed — it made the whole experience feel even more welcoming and comfortable.

The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. You can tell there’s real care put into both the flavors and presentation.

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. “Fantastic Mediterranean food!! I had the gyro and my friend had the chicken kabobs. Both were amazing but I gotta say, hands down, the best gyro I ever had. It was huge and I actually ate it all! Service was amazing, everyone was so nice and we actually had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was warm and welcoming as well. The baklava ice cream is a MUST TRY!

PS they have an enclosed patio which was perfect for friend's kids to play while we enjoyed our meal. Huge plus!“

“Lunch is $25.99 plus Hot Tea: $5.90; you only could order 4 dishes at a time and then “going on forever”, however, you should not have left-over, otherwise, a fine, I assumed. A few choices only available for dinner price($32.99). We ordered Skinny Dipping Cow; Karubi In Tokyo; Tried N True(Bulgogi, Tasty); Daa Pae Pork Belly; Surfin Shrimp(each order has 4 pieces); Winnie The Poohs Sn; Eight Firing Arms(spicy octopus, each order has 2 pieces). We enjoyed Bulgogi, shrimp and octopus more than others. Service was good and responsive.“

I also have a fear of really hot spicy food because it makes me sick. No problem here - the chicken was so delicious, and not "hot" spicy at all. Just a really great flavor. My friend ordered the same, and her reaction was the same. Great flavor, so tasty! The service was great too! But the very best part was the size of the serving - it was such a generous serving, I had to ask for a to-go container, and enjoyed it again later that day. The shawarma itself was good, but there are two areas that could make a big difference. The garlic sauce was decent (3/5), but it could be richer and more flavorful. The biggest disappointment was the pickles (0/5). I highly recommend making the pickles in-house using an authentic Mediterranean recipe instead of the current ones.

With a better garlic sauce and authentic homemade pickles, the shawarma would be on another level. I hope they consider these improvements because the service and overall quality already provide a strong foundation.“

There are many Persian delights on the menu, but I come for the Fesengen. Service is always friendly and excellent. Sometimes I call it in and pick it up on my way home to eat at home.“
