“I recently dined at the restaurant, and I must say, the food was exceptional! Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in flavors that truly delighted the palate. However, what truly stood out to me was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine smiles and impeccable service. The people working there seemed passionate about their craft, and it truly reflected in their interactions with the guests. Additionally, the owner was actively involved, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that guests were well taken care of. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I can't wait to visit again“
“I love this afghani restaurant so much! I've been there a couple of times with my family and it's been incredible every time. The service is amazing and they were patient and explained the spices in each dish (because of an allergy). They were so careful and considerate. I love coming here because everyone is so nice and the food is delicious. The chai is a must!!“
“This is the second Panini Kabob Grill I've visited, and like the one in Cerritos, the food was fresh and delicious. The chicken kabob had just the right amount of char without drying out the chicken. The falafel were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The chicken pesto panini was great.Prices were fair, the place was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.“
“When I walked in, I wasn't too sure about the place. However, the owner was extremely nice and helpful. Then, I was presently surprised with some of the best kabobs I have eaten. They take great pride in their cooking. This is a good find, especially if you're like me and tired of fast food chains.“
“Hidden gem alert. Really great middle eastern food. The beef, chicken, and kofta kebabs were all moist and delicious. The rice fluffy and the baklava is to die for. All reasonably priced and super friendly and sweet service from the family. Highly recommended!“
“Had a quick lunch today and tried this place from a coworker recommendation. It's near John Wayne and the 73 freeway tucked inside a small shopping center. Inside, there's a number of tables, the counter, and an area for sauces, a green sauce and red sauce. The service was awesome, where the cashier was welcoming and explained everything including the sauces, warning that the red sauce is spicy. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and everything came out to a square $20. I thought it was a bit pricey at first, but the plate was very large, probably enough for two meals for most people. It came with the protein, rice, veggies, a small salad and hummus. Everything tasted great, and the red sauce went really well with the chicken. The additional bread was a nice touch too. It was a very filling meal overall!Definitely check this place out!“
“Spanish/EnglishMy first time in this place. I ordered a Chicken bowl and I didn't leave with a good taste in my mouth since they put too much white dressing on it that basically invades all the flavor of the chicken, vegetables and rice. I also realized when I finished eating that there was too much oil sitting at the bottom of the plate. The place is very clean, the servers are very friendly and the service is fast, but maybe next time I should ask for the dressing to be served on the side.My first time in this place. “Have you ever visited a spot and the first item you ordered was so tasty you never try another item on the menu? The grilled chicken wrap with their green sauce @ The Kebab Shop had that affect with me. I've stopped in four or five times now and that is my go to item (add rice please). Each time the chicken wrap lands at my table I'm amazed it how big it is, I tell myself to be responsible and save half for later...that never happens. I always finish in one seating, so tasty. Yes, the price point is a little spendy. I feel the quality, freshness and serving size more than offset that.“
“This place is the best food for the best price. I've been. There when they are extremely busy and they still bring out the food at its best quality and in a timely manner. I highly recommend going family style if you have more than 2 people in your party as you get the best bang for your buck!“
“I have been coming to Panini Grill since the mid 2000's. I have been to at least five locations. The quality of every component of every dish is top notch every time. They have an excellent breakfast menu at this location and Park Place. I wish I had taken photos today because there were some gorgeous plates served today for brunch. Their entrees are always great. I have tasted chicken, koobideh, flat iron steak and salmon kabobs and all are great. You can get one chicken and one koobideh with rice and a salad for a reasonable price and it will last you for days. Salmon on top of a salad is also highly recommended. They accommodate large groups and have great service.“
“I’ve been coming to this place for 8 years, and they serve really good Persian food at reasonable prices in comparison to other locations around the area or in Orange County. My favorite combo is #34. If it’s your first time trying coming here I would start there. You get really good grilled boneless chicken with beef koobideh (ground beef- really good) and jasmine rice which is really great together. You also have the option of getting half salad instead or all rice. In addition, it comes with naan flatbread which I think pairs really well with the food.Parking: Unfortunately the only downside to the location are the limited parking spaces available. Depending on the time of day sometimes you may have to park on the street.“
“Really fresh Mediterranean food! I like the quality of the meat. It's never too heavy. I feel great after eating here. Also, I like the fact that they use paper takeout containers, and not plastic containers. Stephanie was really kind. The staff are always nice here.“
“In the urban heartbeat of the city lies a culinary treasure, The Kabob Shop. Since my discovery in 2019, it's been a gastronomic pilgrimage to the flavors of the Mediterranean and Far East. Their shawarma wraps, a personal indulgence, transport one to ancient bazaars with every bite. The Kabob Shop's artistry is unmistakable, from the vibrant tomatoes to the rich hummus, each bite a testament to authenticity. Their menu also celebrates the vegan wanderer, with offerings steeped in tradition.Their beverage fountain tells tales of distant lands, with craft sodas and iced teas reminiscent of exotic adventures. Seeking more than just a meal? The Kabob Shop is a journey, a taste of history and culture on a plate.“
“If there's one place that holds a special spot in my heart (and stomach), it's The Kebab Shop. This gem of a spot has not only been a go-to for delicious lunches at work but also a staple for family meals, weaving its way into our daily lives with its irresistible mixed Lamb and Beef wraps. The secret to their wraps, you ask? It's unequivocally the garlic and dill sauces. These condiments aren't just add-ons; they are the soul of The Kebab Shop experience, elevating every bite into a harmonious blend of flavors that keeps you coming back for more. It's this attention to detail and quality that sets them apart from any other kebab place I've visited. But what truly makes The Kebab Shop shine is its people. The staff here is always awesome and friendly, making each visit feel like a warm welcome home. Their smiles are as consistent as the quality of their food, and in a world that's often too busy, these moments of genuine kindness are a treasure. The loyalty program deserves a shoutout too. It's incredibly rewarding, making each delicious meal a step towards another. This thoughtful touch adds to the many reasons I love frequenting The Kebab Shop.During the challenging times of COVID, The Kebab Shop emerged as a savior with their generous family-size meals. They not only provided comfort through their food but also a sense of support to the community, making it clear that they were more than just a restaurant; they were part of our extended family. All in all, I love this place with all my heart. The Kebab Shop isn't just a restaurant to me; it's a haven of delicious food, warm smiles, and a testament to the power of community support during tough times. Whether for a quick lunch at work or a family dinner, The Kebab Shop delivers not just fantastic meals but also a dose of happiness. For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure, do yourself a favor and visit The Kebab Shop. Whether you're there for the mixed Lamb and Beef wraps, the standout sauces, or the friendly faces, you're in for a treat. It's more than just food; it's an experience — one that I'm grateful to have so close to home.“
“I've always appreciated the consistently good quality of their food. However, I have noticed a decline in the customer service recently. It's disappointing to see this aspect of the restaurant experience not meeting the high standards I've come to “
“Been coming here for many years for both fine in and takeout at the current and previous location. Consistent meal quality over the years. Friendly service. My only complaint is sometimes there's only one small grilled tomato when is small, one would expect two.“
“Nick’s has a great blend of quality Greek food and quick prep times. They’ll get any order out within five minutes, making them a fantastic place to stop if you have limited time and want some delicious greek food. The standout of the lunch was the beef and lamb gyro, which was STUFFED to the brim and tasted beautifully fresh.“
“3rd time here.. always came around peak dinner time (7-8pm) on Wed/Thurs, stayed ~2 hours. Gets more crowded as we're leaving.Spicy seasoning is great, adjustable heat. Pork belly, lamb, and chicken cartilage were standouts, as well as cold pig ear salad.5 stars for proximity to my buddies and me, friendly service, consistent food and speed.“
“I like the Japanese place next door so i tried to do a takeout 10 mins or so before closing, but they still said it was too late. So i yelped this place & it had great reviews...they were closing too, but they welcomed me! Both the guy & gal were soooo nice & helpful & patient since i've never been there before & i kept adding to my order as things sounded so yummy! And, everything was amazing! I came back to p/u a snack for the theatre; couldn't remember the name of what i got last time so i jus' got fries well done & they were awesome too! Will be back; highly recommend & wish them well!!!“
