“The food here is the best Mongolian bbq I have ever tried I got to put as much food as I wanted on my plate they put two bowls of noodles on my order which was perfect and the portions were good and the chefs were so kind especially the other workers I was surprised to like this food I love how you choose your own portion so that way no one can complain about to little of anything you serve yourself“

“Hungry Bird is new in town, and I’m lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. This was my first visit, and I loved it! Everything looked and tasted delicious. They have chicken, beef, seafood, and pork skewers, plus noodles and sushi rolls. I came for the skewers, and I’d definitely come back to try more.

“Pretty solid spot for a quick meal. Signature potato noodles were chewy with that numbing spicy broth, I kept fishing out the potato slices. Added a few fried skewers on the side, crunchy and salty, and they pack everything neatly for pickup, tbh that helps.“

If you're a fan of tteokbiki then this place elevates that experience.

From the customization and selection, it was a delicious experience .

If I had a choice between fried chicken and tteokbiki ( they sell both) i would normally eat more chicken.

But in this instance, I kept going back for tteokbiki more and more, completely forgetting the chickens existence.

This isn't do downgrade the chicken, the chicken was absolutely delicious, but I kept going back for more rice cakes.

“Genuine Japanese Ramen with rich Miso taste. No other ramen shops serve this taste and only one in SoCal. It’s worth to spend your time to go to this place if you are Ramen Lover! Now they start serving Shio-Ramen (Clear Salt base soup) with Truffle oil flavor. This one is very good, too!“

“Came to Sushi Story and we were seriously amazed! The fish was incredibly fresh, and every piece of nigiri, roll, and sashimi was HUGE! They also have wide selection of sake and Japanese beer. Everything was so satisfying, and they even have claw machines, which made the whole experience even more fun!

Overall, such a great spot, we had so much fun and absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back!

“This is going to be my new go to Pho place. We had oxtai, rare steak, and brisket. I always say when the brisket is tender, it always is a good pho. They have a small and a large size for $1 extra. The dish size difference is huge. Service was nice and super fast. 5 stars!“

“We came in as a big group of 14, including quite a few kids, and honestly, everything was delicious! We ordered a little bit of everything—lots of bowls of pho, lomo, stir-fried beef with macaroni, and more. Every dish came out flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. There was definitely something for everyone at the table!

A special shoutout to Chivas, our waitress, who was amazing! She was so attentive and kept checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, especially with all the kids at our table. She made sure we had enough utensils, checked on our food, and was always friendly and helpful without being overbearing.

“Savory Corner is the real deal. Free-range chicken is silky, tender, and full of flavor. Rice is fragrant and not greasy. Their beef stew noodle soup is also incredible — rich broth, melt-in-your-mouth beef.

Service is superb. The staff remembers us regulars and always surprises us with free herbal drinks. Makes you feel like family.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Always planning my next visit though we have to drive from West Hollywood. It was so addicting that I must try to eat there every weekend.

“Such a cute hidden gem in Walnut! We came for their famous Hainan chicken rice and potato noodles, and both were so good. The Hainan chicken was super tender and juicy, and the chicken rice was fragrant without being too heavy. I loved having both the ginger scallion sauce and chili sauce on the side too.

The potato noodles were probably my favorite! They are really chewy, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also ordered a bunch of their fried skewers, which were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing.

Portions were generous, prices were reasonable.“

“This little mom-and-pop noodle shop was such a great find! We stumbled in right around 8:30 PM, just before they closed, and ended up being the last ones there.
​Their noodles were honestly delicious. I mean, my nephew, who is notoriously picky, even complimented the shrimp noodle! The dandan noodles were a touch too salty for my personal taste, but everyone else absolutely loved them.

Their sushi is amazing clean enough that I trust feeding my wife her salmon and scallop sushi cravings from this spot.
By far though the must try item is their jumbo Scallop it is soooooo gooood.
They have an all you can eat menu but I lay extra to order more of that scallop.
I also just found out they started a new promotion, free roll with x amount spent for example $20 gets you a California roll and $30 gets you a crunchy roll and 2 more tiers.

The sushi chef was so nice he snuck in an extra salmon sushi in my togo order today I hear he was the original shop owner, sold it went to japan to work more in the industry and came back and bought it back, or something along those lines from other people's reviews. May or may not be true but doesn't an amazing hole in the wall deserve that kind of romantic story?

“If you’ve ever driven by this cozy Korean spot with traditional hanok-style windows and a constant line out the door, you’ll know why I’ve been curious about Hangari Kalguksu for a while. I finally caught a quiet weekday afternoon and went in right away.

The menu comes in Korean and English, but the English side is mostly phonetic, so don’t be surprised if it doesn’t help much. I just pointed at the Korean menu and ordered their signature kalguksu ($17.99). They also offer sujebi, rice cake dumpling soup, cold noodles like buckwheat or soybean, plus classics like tteokbokki and fried snacks.

Banchan was simple yeolmu kimchi, light and refreshing. Then came the main event, a massive bowl of kalguksu, easily double the portion you’d expect, with a small side of barley rice (boribap). The broth was surprisingly clean and slightly sweet, loaded with shrimp, clams, potatoes, zucchini, and seaweed.

Pro tip: serve some noodles into your small bowl, then mix in their chili paste and sesame oil. It instantly levels up the flavor. Super comforting and honestly hard to stop eating so I ended up finishing the whole thing without realizing it.

Portions are huge, so sharing isn’t a bad idea. If you can’t finish, just ask for a to-go box.

Also worth noting, there’s another Hangari Kalguksu in LA (ktown) with a similar name and a more expanded menu. Not sure if they’re related, but something to keep in mind if you’re exploring different locations.“

“I was really hyped about this place opening to add to the variety of Korean food around Chino Hills. Soonheene is very popular in South Korea which led me to add this place to my must try list of restaurants, they're known for their amazing street food and it didn't disappoint at all.

Staff were incredibly quick, attentive, and were very friendly in all aspects. Parking is plentiful, clean restroom, and a moderate amount of seating inside the restaurant. The interior is well maintained and just has good vibes when entering, there's also a TV on the wall that plays many variety shows to express just how popular this place is in South Korea.

1. We ordered their signature Tteokbokki and it comes in a decent amount of portions, a great shareable dish and very flavorful when it comes to the mix of sauce, rice cake, and fish cake. There's also a rose version which I also recommend. The Tteokbokki were savory and also not hard to crunch on, cooked perfectly and very enjoyable and addicting.

2. Another must try item is the Mayak Gimbap, comes in 8 pieces, another shareable dish. It's also very well made, with a mix of meat and vegetables, a decent appetizer to the main course.

3. The Oden Fish Cake Soup is also a classic street food signature dish to try. Highly recommend if you're a fan of fish cake, comes in a stick form which is a easy pick-me-up type food. Not too salty and is flavorful as well.

4. The Roasted Kimchi Pork Belly was the main dish we had as a shareable. I cannot fathom how well made this dish is made. The pork belly is super savory, chewy, and flavorful, mixes well with all the side garnishes and sauces.
Overall, Soonheene is definitely a good place for many occasions, dates, take out, and moderate size groups.

“Had a late night craving for some Japanese curry and takoyaki but not a ton of late night options for that. This place fit the bill perfectly. Note that this place shares a location with a Korean fried chicken /tteokbokki spot, so you can order those options too if you really want. Curry came out hot and fast, decent sized cutlet, a healthy serving of rice, and just the right amount of curry to go with it. I'll be back for sure.“

“I’ve tried both the dry and soup versions of the hu tieu here, and I enjoyed both. Each bowl comes with plenty of toppings like shrimp, pork , ground pork, fish cake, and quail eggs. You can also choose different types of noodles. The broth is light but flavorful, and if you order the dry version, the soup comes on the side.
The prices are very reasonable, and I think it’s a great value for what you get.
The restaurant is pretty small with only a few tables, but I’ve always been able to find parking even though the parking lot looks limited.
The only downside for me is the business hours. They close at 4:00 PM, which is just too early. I often get off work and want to stop by for dinner, but they’re already closed. Maybe they’re mainly focused on the lunch crowd, but hu tieu is something people enjoy any time of the day. I really wish they stayed open later.“
