Hangari Kalgooksu Reviews
It's a bit out of the way, but when we're craving Korean home food after Disneyland at fair prices, we'll swing by here. The food is VERY reasonably priced for the amount of food provided. My husband and I share a soup (usually Kalgooksu or Ddukk mandoo gook) and a fried tempura plate. This is enough food for the both of us.You're given rice and radish-style kimchii to start off the palate, and then your main dishes come out. We ordered the Kalgooksu, janchi guksu, and the shrimp+veggies tempura. Large portions for all three and the Kalgooksu and the tempura were excellent! However, the janchi guksu was mediocre and I wouldn't recommend it. Service was great!Edit: We came here 2 more times and the Kalgooksu is always amazing! The broth is very flavorful but it's not greasy. 1 bowl is large enough for 2 people so don't make the mistake of ordering too much.

It was an authentic Korean restaurant, and the foods were great, especially their Kimchi was absolutely awesome. We ordered Kal noodle, which was too big for one person, Jaengban noodle, which was a little bit of sweet, and Tempura, which was jumbo size. There was no sampler for small amounts for tempura, so I had to take it home for leftover. It was still good after heating with the airfryer.
