“I recently tried Bengee Sushi and was honestly impressed by both the presentation and freshness of the food. The sashimi set came beautifully arranged in a wooden box with a great variety of seafood. The atmosphere was casual but clean and modern, making it a nice spot for both a relaxed dinner and a small gathering with friends. Stumbled upon this place from an Instagram reel and was not disappointed at all. Fish is surprisingly fresh for San Dimas(owner has their own seafood distribution) and rivals that of higher-end omakase style sushi restaurants in So Cal while maintaining a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

Needless to say this place was delicious and has a good variety of different options. Definitely recommend checking out the mixed tempura, soft shell crab and the spicy tonkotsu ramen. “I really loved this place! Such a good spot for date night. I really enjoyed the bbq ribs appetizer. My boyfriend had the fried oysters appetizer all to himself. I loved the albacore served with very thin slices of onion and a small bed of rice. The California roll was superb. Washed it all down with their Nigori sake & crème brûlée. Love that they are open late on Saturdays too. 10/10 for me 😍“

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

“Tried the Ninja Roll, Tuna Roll, and Salmon Roll and honestly everything was so good. The sushi rolls were huge. I’ve had a lot of sushi around Orange County, but this was probably the thickest sushi roll I’ve ever had.

The shrimp tempura was also impressive. The shrimp itself was really big and thick. I don’t think I’ve seen tempura shrimp like this anywhere else in OC.

The salad was surprisingly amazing too. Definitely don’t skip it.

We finished with macaron ice cream for dessert and it was a perfect ending.

The owner was very kind, and there were 2–3 chefs working when we visited. The shorter chef was especially friendly and made the experience even better.

Got a 2 protein poke bowl with 2 scoops of salmon. I asked for half rice and half salad, but wow there's a LOT of rice. My brother didn't mind since he likes rice, but I was a bit peeved. (EDIT: Oh, also the poke bowl is drowned in sauce. My brother loves eel sauce so he was glad, but just letting other customers know!)

The staff behind the counter was nice and was patient with me while I was asking my brother for the toppings and sauces that he wanted in his poke bowl. Sorry I took so long, at least there was no one in the store!
