“This food is bomb. It's actually insane how delicious, this literally tastes like my Abuelita cooked it herself in the kitchen. We started with the best dang cookie I have ever had, and an horchata. The horchata is fire and they don't skimp, it was a big ol' cup. I got the chicharrones con salsa Verde which came with nopales and frijoles, my partner got a wet burrito with asada. Mind blowing. I literally don't think you could go wrong with anything here, just get it all.“

“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly which is evident from all interactions with every staff member. The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining the menu items in detail. We are so excited to have come across this gem!!! It is the type of culinary and cultural experience that my husband and I treasure. We will be coming again soon, both with and without friends! We can’t wait to try some of the items on the patio grill. :)“

“Our 2nd dinner here, and we'll continue to come back. First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

“Oh em gee. I don’t know how to start. The atmosphere is so cool with this traditional vibe. The tofu is perfectly fried to perfection, nicely browned so it has that nutty flavor and very crispy. Honestly it’s better than the meat (if you don’t believe me, try it). I don’t usually like Tom Kha Gai, but my wife always wants it, it was so creamy and delicious and the acidity was well balanced. I was thinking maybe it was a fluke, but they really kept nailing the other dishes, basil eggplant, pad Thai (ofc) and green curry all good. I have also never liked fried banana dessert but that glorious fry cook did work on them like the tofu and it had a wonderful crispy outer layer. 10/10 would recommend and go again“

“This is truly a secret gem in the city. I'd recommend anyone from Pomona or anyone passing through to try this place at least once. Food is great the people are nice the vibe excellent. I love how they decorated the inside to give a unique authentic feel. My favorite go to dish here is the spicy seafood Ramen, the sushi are great as well. 😄👍“

I usually get delivery because I don't like the location of where this is. If it wasn't located where it is I would definitely be going there quite often. The food here has been amazing ever since I discovered the restaurant by a relative who brought others and I here.
Personally I think the tacos de asada really stand out from the rest of the other spots that I have tried around the area.“

“If I could give this family owned restaurant more stars I would. The food was very tasty even for my picky eater 7 year old. The pho was flavorful and the portions were more than fair. Aside from the food the customer service was amazing. The young lady taking our order was very accommodating for a family of 5 with two toddlers, which sometimes is hard to find when eating out. “Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

“I love Yume’s bahn mi. It’s tasty, cheap for a good portion ($9.42 with tax), and comes out quickly. I’ve also had the combination fried rice, and it was very good as well. There is some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor tables. The owner is super nice as well!“

I've learned that the quality of tamales and salsa at any restaurant are a sign of how good the rest of the menu is and its authenticity. Maria's nailed it! The breakfast burritos were monstrous and deliciously perfect! My sons not only devoured them, they actually got full lol And the chilaquiles were actually chilaquiles and delicious, I could tell because my daughter finished her plate:)Totally worth it. “Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

Well, would have worked nice had I known that and not have my luncheon delayed. Props to the manager for reaching out as he did and the ambience in the place seems cool with how they have it all decked out.“

For breakfast I’ve had the Killer Burrito it was nice portion size burrito full of flavor at a reasonable price. If in you’re in the City of Pomona try them out you won’t be disappointed.“

“Love the cake… it’s light, airy and delicious! I ordered it through the phone Saturday and got it the next day the following morning for my best friends birthday!!! I got a coconut flavor and they used shaved coconut which gave it a delicious texture to the cake. The frosting was not too sweet as well. The cake was $35 plus i got two birthday candles for the age which they have and it was worth the extra few dollars ! ($1-2)“

“I visited Curry Land Indian Food and absolutely loved it! I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Korma, and Goat Curry Combo with Garlic Naan — everything was so flavorful and delicious. The service was fantastic — very friendly and professional. Definitely one of the best Indian food experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!“

“I was at a convention when I stumbled across this place. A total wholesome the wall with great hospitality. There were people seated in that seemed like regulars. You know a place is good when regulars come to it.

I ordered a taco plate with included two meats, rice, beans, and drink. And it was great. I loved that it came in a paper plate. It reminded me of good times with family and friends. BF ordered. Meat quesadillas which he devoured. They also gave us a good side of salsa which was great. Usually you just get a little bit they were not stingy at all

“I have been bringing my family to Tacos El Plebe consistently for the past 3 years or so. I have tried many other spots including street vendors around the IE, but let me tell you that nothing compares to the quality in the taste and consistency of these folks. I was bummed to find they cut ties with the original folks that ran the stand, but nonetheless the quality of the food remains the same! I bring my kids, relatives, friends, and have even recommended it to colleagues if they happen to be in the area. You will get the most bang for your buck here!“

“This place is awesome, we go there twice a week. Carlos the new owner has really changed this place for the best, I always have the asada burrito and my wife has the shrimp burrito. The food is really good I can't wait to try other dishes. Carlos always makes us feel special when we go there.
