“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly which is evident from all interactions with every staff member. The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining the menu items in detail. We are so excited to have come across this gem!!! It is the type of culinary and cultural experience that my husband and I treasure. We will be coming again soon, both with and without friends! We can’t wait to try some of the items on the patio grill. :)“

“I absolutely adore this place. I come here for lunch on workdays since its close by and I always look forward to those days where I get to eat here. The quality of the fish is great and I love the different rolls they have there. Service is excellent and I am always greeted quickly and with a smile. The superman burritos are my favorite thing to get here. I highly recommend trying it out if you're ever in the area. Very very delicious!“

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

“Had lunch today at RKR (Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch after seeing the article in the Daily Bulletin. The lovely Mrs. C and I both had the hangar steak with roasted brussels sprouts and fries. I opted to have the fries upgraded to the truffle parmesan version. As with our previous visit, the food was excellent. The brussels sprouts were roasted with a great char and were tender instead of mushy or overly crispy. The parmesan truffle fries had finely shredded chesses and flecks of truffle evenly coating the fries. The last time I had truffle fries in a restaurant they had the parmesan but with a drizzle of truffle oil. This was a very pleasant surprise. The steak was sliced with a light peppercorn sauce which did not overpower the steak but added to it. Of course, the restaurant is a teaching venue with students from the Collins School of Hospitality so service was attentive and excellent. To our meal we each had a glass of a Syrah blend wine and we shared an apple crumble dessert with Fosselman's vanilla ice cream (yummy). The dining room overlooking the hills of Cal Poly with the 57 freeway barely visible in the distance was, as always, part of the appeal of this location. Price for our meal (before tip) was $91. A very good value for the quality of food and experience. I'm sure we'll be back soon.“

“Fast and friendly service. Great food. I ordered take out and the person I talked with was both accurate and polite. When I picked up the food, it was ready at the said time and promptly given to me. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and Thai; other people dining in their seemed to be enjoying themselves. I will definitely order more Thai food from here or even dine in in the future.“

“This place is good! Came in randomly and I left satisfied. The prices here are very reasonable. Great value. I didn't get sesame seeds, don't know if it's an option, but overall the food was still good. I kinda wish they charged a little more and gave more proteins in their meals. I had the chicken and beef combo. Their teriyaki sauce is goof and what you expect it to be. The char is nice on the chicken and the beef was tender. I will be back and I guess I'll ask if extra meat is a thing? Oh and I'll ask for sesame seeds and green onions.“

“Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

“I love Yume’s bahn mi. It’s tasty, cheap for a good portion ($9.42 with tax), and comes out quickly. I’ve also had the combination fried rice, and it was very good as well. There is some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor tables. The owner is super nice as well!“

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a long time, and Maggie is always the one who helps me. She is so sweet, kind, and always makes sure you have everything you need. She always has a great attitude and provides amazing customer service. If I were her manager, I would definitely give her a raise! She deserves to be recognized for how great she is. ❤

“I was on my way to West Covina and needed to make a stop to charge my car. It was also time for lunch and Pomona Pizza Co. Is in the same shopping center as the charger and a quick little walk. The pizza was delicious and the service was awesome. Plenty of seating and sports to watch on the multiple TVs. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be back.“

“The tamales were the real deal! I loved them! None of that frozen food junk, they looked and tasted like I made them at home. I've learned that the quality of tamales and salsa at any restaurant are a sign of how good the rest of the menu is and its authenticity. Maria's nailed it! The breakfast burritos were monstrous and deliciously perfect! My sons not only devoured them, they actually got full lol And the chilaquiles were actually chilaquiles and delicious, I could tell because my daughter finished her plate:)Totally worth it. They even have a fresh bakery with all the varieties of pan dulce we love and more. They also have restaurant seating with plenty of room for the whole familia. The service was great and I'd definitely eat there every chance I get!!!!! I want more tamales!!!!!!! :D“

“My boyfriend and I came to Lily’s Tacos after my sister, who lives nearby, recommended it to us. It was our first time here, and we were definitely not disappointed! The food was amazing. I ordered the combination taco plate, and my boyfriend got five tacos. The asada was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the horchata was absolutely delicious. “Tried this place for lunch my coworker order the catfish with shrimp, and hush puppies and a side of fries, good amount of food for the price. Its a hole in the wall but the fish was very well seasoned and even though it took a 30 to 40 minute wait I will definitely go back.“

“I ordered tacos gobernador and I was very disappointed. It's not good at all, and i couldn't even see the shrimp. I'm not sure if they were chopped very finely or what.
