Love that you can pick your own ingredients; there’s so much variety, really fun to customize. The space felt clean, and the staff were friendly without hovering—nice balance. Parking was easy, which honestly makes life so much simpler. Oh, and no tipping pressure—it’s refreshing.“

If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Chino Hills, Kiku Sushi is it. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance transports you — the traditional banners, warm lighting, and J-pop playing in the background set the perfect mood.
The service was wonderful. Our waiters were so sweet and attentive, always checking in without being overbearing. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience.
Now the food — where do I even start? Everything was absolutely incredible. The fish on the nigiri was unbelievably fresh, like caught-that-morning fresh. You could taste the quality in every single piece. The Cucumber Fantasy roll was hands-down my favorite — light, refreshing, and perfectly put together. We also had the garlic edamame, a rainbow roll, and some beautiful sashimi-topped rolls, and there wasn’t a single miss on the table. We also paired everything with a Sapporo and a Terra beer, which hit perfectly with the meal.
We left absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. Kiku Sushi is now a go-to spot for us. If you love great sushi in a genuine Japanese atmosphere with kind people taking care of you, don’t sleep on this place. 10/10 would come back tomorrow.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Fair warning — I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of half the rolls before demolishing them. “We recently found this gem of a place and were warmly welcomed and constantly attended to. Now, mind you, this was on a Monday morning at 9:30am when most people are working; however, people should realize that weekends are much busier times for dining and plan accordingly! The atmosphere was awesome, warm and welcoming. We were attended to by no less than 4 different people making sure we were cared for; the food was very fresh (they have vegan options too) and the coffee was yum. When I heard the name of this place, I knew it would be fantastic; check it out and see what you think.“

“Everything was very, very good, the beef broth with tendon was very tender and the broth very flavorful the crispy pork spring rolls with the sauce were a perfect match for each other. The salt and pepper chicken wings were super crispy and the flavor was very nice with the two sauces. The Bond meat was very good. You just have to order the pate and jalapeños separately if you like them we had white rice as well, which was normal and we had barbecue pork vermicelli with egg rolls all which were very very good. It does take a little bit of time to make everything fresh so it takes a little bit more time than other Vietnamese restaurants but the food is very, very good. .update we came back 3 days later and enjoyed the sandwich with the pate and jalapeños and beef rib soup.“

“Taco Thursdays are a thing here & its so funny because everyone usually does it on Tuesdays. Its pretty small inside with a few tables so it can get packed. I really like the quesadillas. Gotta come back and try out a few other items. Agua frescas was good too!“

“Like many sushi restaurants this is one is quiet small, gets vey busy on weekends but that's because the sushi rolls, yaki and ramen are so yummy. I have to admit, the yaki could use more flavor but the sushi rolls are my favorite good portions and they give you a 10% discount if you pay in cash“

“Many gluten and dairy free options, didn’t get sick from eating here. Orange chicken was SO good!! The lady we spoke to was super knowledgeable about the menu and our allergies. Gluten free stuff is made to order- avoiding cross contamination in the bins. Will be back!“

“I have been craving to try boat noodle soup ($15.95) since I've seen it online. It is a blood-based soup so it's a dark brown but the taste is not noticeable. It comes with thin noodles, sliced beef, pork meatballs, green onions, pork rinds, Thai basil, and cilantro. They do have a Thai level of spicy and they do warn that they do not to re-makes of dishes.

I also got their pork jerky which came with a side of spicy fish sauce dip.

The staff is nice and the place is clean.“

“We dropped by this afternoon to pickup some lunch and fuel with our RV before heading to camp at Prado. Magic’s made us a couple of the most delicious cheeseburger combos we have had in a long time. Burgers were generous portions, as well as absolutely delicious and tasty. (We’ve had his Pizzas and Gyros before— both are excellent. ❤️)“

My partner and I got the item combos with tangerine chicken, kung pow, broccoli beef, chow mein, and fried rice. All of it was 10/10. Be aware that the food is spicy, which was no problem for me but if you're sensitive to spice I wouldn't get the Kung Pow. It packs a wallop! Loved it!!!“

So happy to finally sit down for breakfast. The soy beancurd was pretty good value for money. The serving was huge! The sugar syrup was a little sweet but I can imagine kids loving it. The daikon cake was crisp on the outside and very soft on the inside. The sweet rice roll was really interesting. Love it! It was soooo filling though!“

“Food 4/5 - Ordered beef chow fun, chinese sausage/diced broccoli fried rice, braised crispy tofu w/ three delights, and crispy pan-fried whole flounder. Beef chow fun and the fried rice were delicious, both dishes have very good “wok-hei”. Crispy pan-fried flounder was also delicious, good crispy outside fry with the fish still being soft. There’s some soy sauce beneath the fish, but I’d like it to be served on the side so you can dip your fish pieces. Braised crispy tofu was good, tofu texture was very soft and the 3 delights (shrimp/fish fillet/octopus) were fine.

Price $$ - Price is good for the portions that were served. The plates might look small, but they have depth.

Service 3/5 - Service is average, we needed to flag down a server to refill our drinks.

Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with Chinese themed decor.

Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.“

First time here with family.

The establishment is pretty much self-service based with a large open dining area with communal tables in the middle and two seat booths along the side walls.

Ordered their combo dumpling bowl with hot & sour soup, pork chop, house noodles, mala spicy beef noodles soup, and oolong milk tea with Bob and pudding.

Place order via kiosk. It was easy to navigate and see what the dish you're ordering looks like.“

It's not a knock against them that I gave them 4 stars, I'm just a deep dish kind of guy but the service was great, the pizza was really good.
