Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. The Rookery Alehouse & Grill offers exceptionally good food and service in a renovated historical downtown building. Everything is made fresh to order, and meals are fresh and delicious. The Fried pickles were full of flavor, and the Buffalo cauliflower was so so good. The LA hot dog was the best ever eaten. However, a burger was overcooked despite asking for medium rare. The atmosphere is excellent, with a breezy shaded patio, friendly atmosphere, and super friendly staff every time. Great beers include a nitro Belgian quad, but the selection of ciders was very small with only 2 in a can. Prices are great, though it may be a bit more costly. This best kept secret in town is a great place to hang out and is highly recommended.
