Based on the reviews, Juanita's is a true Pomona classic that has been serving up great Mexican food for nearly 50 years. It is a simple walk-up with a couple of outdoor tables, but the food is what keeps people coming back. It is family owned, which gives it a welcoming and personal touch. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always outstanding. A reviewer highly recommends the meat, rice, bean, and cheese burritos (where "meat" equals delicious red pork), bean tostadas (no lard), and shredded beef tacos. Prices are reasonable, though a chili reono burrito with carnitas was almost $17 and considered a little bit pricey. The red sauce is better than the green sauce. Be prepared to wait at lunchtime.
