My wife and I stumbled with this "arepas truck" (actually a trailer). Being that she is Colombian I had to stop and try them. Worth the stop for sure. The empanadas are as close as I have tasted in Cali, Colombia. Only my wife makes them better. We try one of the arepas rellenas and was great (with the exception of the salsa rosa they put on it, some aji will go better).Overall satisfying experience and for sure my daughters will be pushing for us to come back with them.
I drove past this food truck on my way to my shop and noticed it was Colombian food! I was just talking to a friend about how there aren’t any authentic Colombian food places around. When I told her about this truck she was actually already following it on Instagram @lilystasteonwheels and we knew we definitely had to try it asap. The salchipapas are delicious, the filling of the arepas is delicious, the only thing I didn't like was the arepa was hard, they are super friendly and practically everything is to go because there is nowhere to sit.
