“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. First time was Valentine's Day meal that we loved so much that we took our college-age children and their significant others for a special birthday meal. They were impressed with the food, the presentation, the wine, the service, the view, all of it, and said they plan to also come back for special event meals. Hidden gem! Menu selections are creative, memorable, delicious and priced better than any other place around that serves food of this level. Service is friendly and attentive. Cal Poly Pomona students do the work at RKR, and it feels good to support the cause. Usually only open part of the year when college courses are in session, but we're excited to hear from our server that there are plans to expand service to summer also. A professor from the college was on hand to oversee the experience and was delightful & gracious to talk with and learn from (her knowledge of wine is extensive & informative).“

“We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. Try this place they add the love here.“

“Went in for some takeout and the staff were so friendly. Let us try juices to see what we'd like. I went with balanced and it was super good. I also had the spicy crab toast and it did not disappoint. Light, flavorful, but still filling. Great way to start my day, good service and staff, clean facility. “Hole in the wall bakery has some pretty good pies. I ordered the Jamaican pie l, chicken mushroom pie and meatball sandwich and it was filling and good! The bread on the sandwich is light and the sauce wasn't too salty which is how I like it The cookies are good too!

“The specialty coffees are all amazingly delicious and made with love. So are their bomby homemade cookies which are my weakness! The coffee is made with the best filtered water. You can just taste the difference. The staff is really sweet and there's always a neat selection of gifts and things to look at.“

“I recently visited Mesita Coffeehouse and it was such a cute little spot! The Spanish latte was absolutely amazing—10/10. I also tried the fruit danish and it did not disappoint. “What a gem! Peeked inside and discovered the sweetest Indonesian bistro! The ambiance was relaxing, the staff were incredibly kind, and everything from the coffee and refreshments to the homemade delicacies, was wonderful.

We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner of Kedai and ended up taking home plenty of desserts along with a delicious tofu plate (this vegetarian was very happy!). You can tell that everything is made with care and love.

Loved my breakfast sandwich chapin with black beans, eggs, red/green bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, fresh baked and crisp bolillo. Super clean. Seating inside and outside perfect for meet ups. Customer service is always excellent. This is the spot for me for awhile. Peaceful and vibrant vibes!“

“Absolutely love this place! Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. Got there at 11am and had to wait 30 minutes because it is a popular place, but again, worth it. Staff is very friendly. Our waitress was super attentive without being hovering. My friend had a Chicken wrap and I had the Chicken Paninni on sourdough. I upgraded from the kettle chips to their small crock of French Onion soup. Both of our orders were delicious. We choose to sit outside in their patio. So, relaxing and a bit more quieter for us older folks who have trouble hearing. We even had a friendly blue bird visit our table. Very polite, didn't try to swipe our food like a seagull would.“

“OK, YUM!! I’ve been on a huge hojicha kick lately since the caffeine is usually gentler than matcha. I’ve had bad luck in the past with shops giving me massive servings (37g!) that kept me up all night, so I’m always a bit cautious.

I finally decided to try Smoking Tiger after seeing them all over socal, and I’m so glad I did! I told the staff I’m super caffeine sensitive, and they were incredibly accommodating, offering to make alterations just for me. Love that attention to detail! I'll be a regular from now on!

Also, do yourself a favor and get the corn mochi! it’s absolutely delicious! 🌽“

“Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. They are also very COVID safe in case you are worried about venturing out and about. I would recommend the bakery to anyone needing a slice of Italy in Southern California! ❤️🇮🇹💚“

“Nicest family-owned donut shop in Upland. We are so glad that they are still open. This donut shop is following all of the COVID-19 health protocols. Their delicious donuts really brightened up our day. We could not wait to get their doughnuts home, warm them up and devour them along with coffee and milk. ??“

“My family and I absolutely love Bobo Cha Bar. They have a great variety of drinks and foods, both savory and sweet. I'm sensitive to sugar and processed foods and therefore have to be selective where I eat out. At Bobo Cha Bar, I can enjoy their drinks and food and feel fine which is a relief for me. We also celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday there and they prepared a beautiful and delicious selection of savory and sweet treats. The atmosphere is fun and tasteful. The owner Venus and her sister take great pride in their shop and are always friendly and welcoming. We go there as often as we can. Highly recommend!“

“This cafe lives up to its name, Tasty food fast service. Quiet calm atmosphere. Good for small parties couples or eating alone/enjoying a snack and a book at the same time.

They have sake , bottled beers, canned sodas, iced teas and bobba teas. There is a loyalty program and various types of seating from both type to chair&table, couches and counter style (on the north wall side).“

“Hadn't been here in a long, long time as it's a couple states away, but went with a couple of my buddies and my son today, Food is pretty good, and service was absolutely phenomenal (very friendly/very attentive). But my main issue with the place is that it's beat up and it feels dirty, and when I wiped our table with a clean napkin, which felt really dirty, it was dirty. Ceiling tiles are discolored and the place just needs a major refresh. So I would probably love this place if it was remodeled or in a new space but it just doesn't feel like somewhere that I would regularly go and pay 15 to $22 to eat a breakfast, but as I said the food is good and the servers were absolutely fantastic.“
