“Panera Bread has always been one of my favorite places, especially their chicken wild rice soup. It's comforting and delicious. But this review is really about the people, not just the food.

While I was having dinner, my car battery died, and at the same time my phone battery also went dead. I was completely helpless. I asked one person outside for help, but they didn’t respond. Feeling stressed, I went back inside Panera and explained my situation. I had jumper cables with me, but I needed help.

The staff instantly stepped in. One of the team members didn’t ask me to wait or hesitate even for a moment they helped me right away and made sure I was okay and taken care of. Their kindness and calm reassurance meant more to me than they probably realized at that moment.

This Panera Bread truly goes above and beyond their job description to help others. I deeply appreciate the staff who work there for their kindness, compassion, and willingness to help when I really needed it. Thank you for restoring not just my car battery, but my faith in people too.🥰“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “We love Rail Side and have been going there for years. The Arecely’s PB Mocha (I like mine blended) is my favorite along with the wake-up #1 on GF bread. Everyone is so friendly (including the owners who are also rooted in the community) and they have live music on the weekend. Great spot that has so much small town charm.“

“This place has amazing coffee and matcha varieties, and it’s the only place I’ve found near by that has the strong matcha flavor I like, like Airoma from Vegas. It has a real coffee shop vibe with people actually conversating. The only issue my husband was unhappy with is the drinks are on the smaller side for the price and also they don’t let you pay with cash. Their spinach soufflé is delicious, but the lemon loaf was dry. The staff is welcoming though and make the drinks quickly, so the quality is there.“

“Good respectful environment here the cashier is very polite and patient with our order. I combined the passion fruit tea with peach and black tea, y mira, 👌 it's made perfectly.They have that good matcha here too. It tastes like matcha not too grassy because they add the perfect amount and mix it correctly. The popcorn chicken is a must a tiny bit spicy but my daughter loved it too much she ate everything. Went home and paired those leftoves with some pancakes and syrup. The gift that keeps on giving. The fried chicken wings with, i believe it was thai sauce, were delicious as well. “The specialty coffees are all amazingly delicious and made with love. So are their bomby homemade cookies which are my weakness! The coffee is made with the best filtered water. “Great HaloHalo! I really enjoyed it even after I received it through delivery. Came in a large cup with all the good mixings and layers of shaved ice, milk (your choice of 2% or oat), various sweetened beans, jellys, tapioca pearls, fruits and topped off with a scoop of ube ice cream.

Chicken adobo bomb has a flaky crust similar to a croissant on the outside filled with shredded chicken seasoned as adobo. It wasn’t bad. I enjoyed this flavored bomb better than the corned beef bomb.

Corned beef bomb is the same crust as above. The inside is just corn beef and potatoes. I found the corned beef to be lacking flavor and it just tasted plain overall. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either? It was just meh.

I really enjoyed their crinkle cookies. I order strawberry and lemon. It was bigger than I thought they would be. I loved how the cookie was crispy on the outside and very fluffy in the middle. It was super good coated with powdered sugar.

I was excited to try their guava strudel as I love the guava rolls from Portos. These ones from Kape were amazing. I love that they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust to give it a bit more crunch.

Ube cupcake with the flan on top wasn’t quite hitting for me. The cupcake itself was really dry and the flan is not flan without the caramel sauce. You can taste the ube, but the cupcake itself received was really dry.“

“I love the whole building itself to come and work for free. The cafe creates a welcoming and warm experience to come rest with a friend, read , or meet for work. Staff is kind and welcoming. When staff feels welcoming I think it brings the stress down. Almost like you want to feel when you go to a friend’s house. Relaxed.“

“Palermo Bakery has everything you need to feel like you are in Italy! From the welcoming staff the moment you walk through the door, to the decor, to the EXTENSIVE bakery items (that are beyond delicious!), to the pizza, to the coffee, there is truly not a bad choice on the menu! They even have a window to the kitchen so you (or your kids) can watch the magic happen in the kitchen. The first time I went there I was reminded of my Dad and my time in Palermo. My husband loves their scones and I love their new chewy Dubai cookie and it’s at an extremely reasonable price which I appreciate considering how unique the pastries are! “The prices here are GREAT, and on top of that, it's going to a good cause. And even their cups say they use fair trade coffee - so it's amazing that even with that, they keep the prices low. There's a good variety on the menu that you could come alone or meet a friend here for a very affordable and quick breakfast, lunch, or just coffee.
The breakfast sandwich was nothing amazing, and they accidentally made my coffee cold when I asked for hot, but I can't complain much because of the prices. Also, I ordered a latte and breakfast sandwich and was charged $7-something, and then later saw the sign that said today's special was a latte and breakfast sandwich for $5. -_- But again, wasn't worth complaining about.

I would come back to try maybe an acai bowl or a lunch sandwich.“

They've expanded their menu and clientelle, so yes it's more busy.
