“Delicious food! And very affordable! Loved it!“
“I recently visited Star Wok in Claremont, CA, and ordered their three-item combo featuring orange chicken, beef with broccoli, and teriyaki chicken. The portions were generous, and every dish was fresh and bursting with flavor. Definitely a satisfying meal that hit the spot. I’ll surely be coming back for more!“

“S- [must try / 一定要吃到]
• the only good malatang in Chino Hills that's worth your $$$
• interior is small but clean
• lots of vegetable and meat selection (you choose what you want for your hot pot)
• all you can eat green onions and cilantro <3
• only complaint is that most of their noodles are instant noodles (egg noodle is not the flour one)
• their beef bone broth is very strong rich flavored and they give me a lot!! very delicious and happy
• their ingredient quality is better than all the other places
• spicy is very spicy o.o
TLDR: one of my fav go to malatang places. Meow Approved! (๑ > ᴗ < ๑)“

“Stumbling upon a truly excellent Chinese restaurant can often feel like a stroke of luck, especially when you’re just exploring an area with no expectations. That was precisely my experience with this hidden gem. I didn't catch the staff member’s name, but her warmth and friendliness immediately stood out. She went above and beyond, offering me samples of their dishes that were so flavorful, I decided to upgrade my meal to include them.
After taking that first bite, I was genuinely taken aback by how rich and delicious the flavors were—each dish was better than the last. It’s rare to find a spot where every element on the plate feels thoughtfully prepared and seasoned to perfection. This place is now firmly on my list of go-to restaurants, and I know I'll be returning again and again. It’s an absolute must-try for anyone in search of exceptional Chinese cuisine.“

“Surprisingly tasty! It's a hole-in-the-wall type of family restaurant. Food portions are substantial and rather affordable in price. Taste? Authentic mama type of cooking.
- Wonton: It is very good, but not the best in Socal like someone suggested.
- Pot stickers: The best dish today. Very crispy and filled with lean meat. Little fat.
- Porridge: porridge of the day is a sweet millet porridge. Not bad, very "Taiwan" like
- Steamed bun: lots of filling. Great baos.
Overall, satisfied and will be back! Recommend!“

“Excellent value, wonderful variety of dishes I haven't seen at other noodle places, and food came out quickly. Ordered Hainan chicken noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, green beans, and popcorn chicken and the portions were so generous we had to bring back more than half our food. The Hainan chicken was a particularly interesting dish because I haven't seen that flavor offered around these parts. Had a great meal and will be back for sure“

“Being our first in a Pickupstix, we were welcomed with sincere warmth and pleasantries. London, the gal who greeted us and served us, truly was a big help. Explained things and was very patient. She truly is an asset to this company. We will definitely be coming back, not just for the great food but also to see London's warm smile.“

“Where, do I start my story? First, this restaurant is located on the border of Pomona and Claremont. Second, sadly, I only recently found out, that this place existed. I would pass by the area, ignoring the area of strip mall. So, one weekend in April of 2024, while leaving my job, I decided to stop by this establishment, and try Chinese food for dinner. Regardless of it, let's return to the third point. Third, the food was delicious, and their portions were quite big. Fourth, there was ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Fifth, the service, at least, during my visit, was prompt and helpful. Sixth, the place was clean and neat. Seventh, the prices, too, were fair. So, overall, I had a positive experience visiting this establishment in beginning of April of 2024. Therefore, if anyone is in Pomona and Claremont area, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. The prices, too, are worth the visit!“

“The food was so good and the employees were so nice. I cannot stress about how much I’ve enjoyed my experience at that place. The price was very fair and they were extremely generous with their portions. The taste was very authentic, it tasted like it came from one of those five star seafood restaurants! If I can rate it higher I would rate it higher!“

“All vegan Chinese restaurant in Chino. I enjoyed the Szechuan Eggplant dish with the Spring Rolls appetizer. The latter was crisp without being heavy or oily as can sometimes happen. The eggplant was mostly sweet with a little spice helped by the chili oil. Very large portion, as well. The hostess/server knew the large menu well and was able to recommend dishes based on my interests. She checked in periodically but unobtrusively. This is not to be taken for granted these days as dining out slowly changes. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-24“

“For an authentic Chinese American (and Hawaiian)food experience, this is a great place. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Some options re available.
Parking: Located in an excellent and clean mall with plenty of spaces.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“So glad they opened one in this area so we don't have to go to the one in Rosemead! The food is consistently good here and we have always enjoyed all the dishes we have ordered. We've never had to wait for long compared to their other location. Love their beef rolls, dan dan noodle and beef noodle soup but honestly, everything is delicious. It seems like everyone really like their popcorn chicken so we will have to try that next time!“

“I will not be going anywhere else for Chinese food locally. This place is amazing. Generous portions, friendly staff, food looking fresh and wide selection of beverages. I tried the broccoli beef (amazing), the orange chicken (amazing), the teriyaki chicken (amazing). Chow mein was really good! Not too oily, fried rice was fine. Great food and I only spent like $10. I will definitely come back to try their other items.“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“Changan is one of my favorite go-to spots in Chino Hills. The food always comes out quickly, and everything I’ve tried is packed with incredible flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are unbeatable. They open early with a wide variety of authentic Chinese breakfast items, and their lunch and dinner menu offers everything from skewers and noodles to spicy mixed vegetables and dumplings. My family and I always leave completely satisfied after dining here!“

“Great food from a very small place. I have been here several times and I’ve never had anything bad. They have huge portions and their food is fantastic.
Vegetarian options: I actually got the sweet-and-sour tofu which was phenomenal. They have a lot of tofu options.
Wheelchair accessibility: I went with a friend who is in a wheelchair and it’s a little bit of a tight squeeze to get in the front door because of the way the restaurant is set up, but she has a large chair and we made it in just fine“

“I live near this location and it's in a shopping center near a 99 Ranch market.
I keep driving by and had to finally try it! If you're into Asian dishes or noodles, this place hits the spot dead on. The noodles are all made from scratch, and the customer service was great.
The meat in the noodles is quality and big chunks. There is no need to ask for extra noodles. They give you plenty with each dish! The portions are hearty and will certainly fill you up. I ordered the Spicy Beef, the fried egg it comes with is great!
The pricing isn't necessarily cheap, but for what you pay and the amount you get, I can give it a thumbs ? ? The location is small, so seating can be limited during the lunch rush. It's a clean restaurant!
I'd definitely suggest this noodle location if you're into this type of food, and I'd be hard pressed not to say this is the BEST noodle place in Rancho Cucamonga!“

“I’ve got to admit, this is some of the best food around. And yes there is a Mr. You 5min from home. But the one in Montclair is on point with bringing customer satisfaction. I am here at least 2-3 times a week for lunch. This location knows how to make delicious orange chicken with pockets of air that makes it nice and crunchy. I’m salivating just by describing it! Hahaha… The staff up front and in the kitchen are lively and very hospitable. Can’t go wrong with this spot.“

“Went looking for something quick, easy, and relatively cheap and found this little gem. I got the combo #2 with chow-mein and veggies. My mains were the orange chicken and the beef broccoli and both were delicious. I was blown away by the taste, especially for how cheap it is. Needless to say, I’ll be going back.
Dietary restrictions: I noticed they had some gluten free options available.
Parking: I didn’t have any problems getting a space to park when I came in.“

“This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and the portions are very large. If you miss the "cheap but amazing Chinese place down the street l" vibes THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! My partner and I got the item combos with tangerine chicken, kung pow, broccoli beef, chow mein, and fried rice. All of it was 10/10. Be aware that the food is spicy, which was no problem for me but if you're sensitive to spice I wouldn't get the Kung Pow. It packs a wallop! Loved it!!!“

“People buying here have to take into account ALL the people here work hard and sometimes long hours at probably minimum wage.very friendly staff and when the foods good, its GOOD..like most other food places in pomona.instead of complaining, you ' d be surprised how a few bux in tips can change morale.please treat the service people with respect and kindness .... instead of being negative and cheap (no tips) .walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you pass judgment .. .these are VERY human and humble people doing their best under stressful conditions. The cheap Mexicans are the worst in attitude and guidance ... I know I am Mexican myself and see how customers treat The people here are cruel and bad sometimes .. I have two noses and come in occasionally.“

“If I could give 10 stars I would! This restaurant really knows what it’s doing! The Mongolian beef is so delicious, fresh & tender, almost buttery. (I like it with extra onions- free) it is never oily or over salted.. it is absolutely a go to meal for me! They pack it full to the top, so there’s enough to have for dinner, a lunch bowl the next day and possibly even enough for a few homemade spring or egg rolls or another snack. The sides of rice, white or “fried” but not oily, are $2 & packed full too and is hot & fresh.
So for $20 You get a lot of food! Pick it up or have it delivered by a very sweet smiling older gentleman, it always arrives fast and steaming hot! The mapo tofu, (I like it without the meat) is also delicious! Also, request a little side of the hot sauce, it’s free and delicious.
I’ve been all around the world and tried food everywhere and surprisingly enough, This little place down the road is in my top 5 all time favorites! I cannot comment on the inside ambience as I have never been there. I always just order it for delivery. But it’s definitely a go to. You should try! :)“

“Just bought some BBQ Pork and I just want to share how lovely this bbbq pork is. So easy to chew on and so lightly sweetened to perfection. Beautiful shade of redish pink on the edges. Every bite is a piece of heaven and not like other places how every other bite has a hard piece of pork that is unpleasant to eat. This is just *MUAH* (Chef’s kiss).
Edit: added more descriptive language.“

“This is my go to quick Chinese steam table spot, because its close by and reasonably good. I usually get a 2-item with fried rice. The orange chicken is good (though I do prefer a fresh Panda Express). Its more sweet than usual but it has good flavor. The broccoli beef is good, and they are usual mindful of giving a good mix of meat and veg. I sometimes get else if it looks fresher, like jalapeno chicken or mushroom chicken.
One surprise is the soups. You have to order them, but they make them fresh pretty quick. I have tried the hot and sour and the wonton soup. The hot and sour is my favorite, loaded with wood ear mushrooms and tofu. The wonton soup is good too, but by the time I get home its so hot that the wontons get overcooked and fall apart.
The inside of this place is nothing special. Note, as of Sep 2024, this place has a B from the health department but I have gone many times and never had an issue. They also charge to use credit cards like 60 cents.“

“I first tried their chicken with veggies and liked the ratio of the meat to vegetables (50/50). I meant to try their brown rice but end up just telling cashier that it was nice they had it as an option. I like that they have fair pricing. The teas are a bit sweet for me, would like to order with less sweetness but the flavors are exquisite.“
