“We have been going to Chopsticks House locations for more than 25 years, but this was our first time to this one (after 2 othe locations recently closed). Same great food, same great service. Perfect location for us to meet folks halfway from LA-area for lunch.“

“The automated employee taking your order cannot get it right then you still have to deal with the employee at the window to correct the problem. How many times this year are you going to raise your prices? Then you give less food. Is there a shortage now of fortune cookies because the last two times I visited your drive-thru they did not put any in my bag?“

“Tried Happy Valley Village/Shanlitun recently and had a really pleasant experience. The iron-stew pot dishes were warm, comforting, and well-balanced in flavor, with fresh ingredients throughout. Portions are generous, making it easy to share without feeling overwhelming. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the service was friendly and consistent. Overall, a solid spot for a low-key meal with good, authentic Northeastern Chinese food at a reasonable price.“

“Was pretty good, lots of small bites! I’m used to more kbbq style, but the experience and the aesthetic made the dinner here really fun. You order from and iPad, and the selection options are bit overwhelming as a first timer. Got a variety of meats (beef and pork - both good) the cucumber was fresh and perfect to cut through the heaviness, and the arctic surf clams were my favorite!“

“Absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! It’s my go-to whenever I’m in the Walnut area and need a guaranteed delicious meal. Let’s talk about the Hainanese chicken - it’s a revelation. The texture is unbelievably tender and smooth, not a bit rubbery. You can tell it’s made with care. The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. Don’t sleep on their other dishes, either. The potato noodles come in a massive, steaming clay pot with a soup base that’s both spicy and deeply flavorful. The fried buns are golden, crispy little clouds of goodness. The atmosphere is super casual and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. Honestly, for the quality and portion size, the price is a steal. This is a true neighborhood treasure, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!“

“The food here is genuinely delicious. The grilled skewers? Packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned. I tried the bone broth mala tang too—it’s rich, a bit spicy, and just unique compared to others I’ve had. Love that you can pick your own ingredients; there’s so much variety, really fun to customize. The space felt clean, and the staff were friendly without hovering—nice balance. Parking was easy, which honestly makes life so much simpler. Oh, and no tipping pressure—it’s refreshing.“

“Haidilao Hot Pot is an experience. The service is amazing (free snacks while you wait, super attentive staff), and the hot pot is fully customizable with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hand-pulled noodle show is a fun bonus too. I like that you can customize your sauce and they have really good jelly for dessert.“

“This is such a hidden gem, the food is fresh, fast, and really affordable. I would recommend their rice rolls, it’s one of those dishes you can’t get at very many other restaurants. Definitely get the cucumber salad too, it’s a classic and they do a great job.“

The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and just what I was hoping for. The service was friendly and the atmosphere felt welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a good Chinese meal. I’d definitely come back again !“

“had a great experience at this hot pot restaurant! The broth was rich and flavorful, with a good variety of options to choose from. The ingredients were fresh, especially the meat and seafood, and everything was well presented.
The service was attentive and friendly — the staff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The environment was clean and comfortable, perfect for gathering with friends or family.“

“Came here to try out their Peking duck and it was good! I loved that they removed all the excess fat and bones so it was easy to eat. I liked their chili fish and glass noodles (it was delish and the medium wasn’t spicy at all). Their green beans were delicious and crunchy. It came out to $38/person for a party of 5.“

“They make authentic Guilin rice noodles here. So you order the noodles through the QR code and you can get the condiments to add to the bowl. We had the Golden Broth Beef Brisket Rice Noodles and Premium Signature Noodles. Added a fried egg and Secret Recipe Braised Tofu. Quick service and would return.“

“Highly recommend if you love din tai fung style cuisines without waiting 2hrs and breaking your wallet.
Their dan dan noodles with rice noodles was savory, with that lovely peanut base sauce.
Their Crab & pork xiao lou bao is super delicious. Their skin is thin and the soup inside just fills your mouth. Honestly i think it's better than Din tai fung for that alone.
The beef tomato noodle was filled with thick, tender beef chunks, and the diced tomato was actually sauted with savory seasoning.
You can see many locals come here to enjoy excellent quality comfort food.
From Ordering to being served was a matter of minutes. Great for limited lunch break people!“

“This is the first time I was able to try authentic northeastern Chinese breakfast in California, and it really satisfied my cravings. The food is just like it is back in China and very delicious. The menu is short and simple which is my favorite since that means they specialize in specific foods. Must try for some authentic and delicious Chinese breakfast! The staff are very friendly too.“

“Yong Moon Lu is not exactly close to where I live, but it is absolutely worth the drive every single time. It's one of those rare restaurants that makes you feel rewarded for making the trip.
Every dish I've tried has been delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The quality and consistency of the food are impressive, and you can tell that great care goes into every menu item. From the flavors to the presentation, everything is well-executed and satisfying.
The service is equally outstanding. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating a comfortable dining experience from start to finish. Their professionalism and hospitality make each visit even more enjoyable.
If you love Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Between the excellent food, great service, and overall dining experience, Yong Moon Lu has become one of my favorite restaurants. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.“

“Tried NBC for my first time today. The food was good, fresh, hot, and a good amount. I love the price as well. But I'd have to give them a 4.5 this time, ONLY because I ordered 2 egg rolls & when I arrived home they weren't in the bag... I'm sure it was a simple mistake. I will be bk to try again, hopefully I'll get compensated for my egg rolls 😎... All in all good food“

“Dragon Express is the place you wanna go if you need piles of food so deep you'll need a shovel to get to the bottom. For under $20 you'll have enough food to last 1 person for 3 meals, or a small family for a dinner that'll put you in a food coma. The owners are sweet, kind, and generous. Go to Dragon Express. “Mian is a great spot if you love Chinese noodles. They offer a wide variety of noodle dishes from different regions of China, so you can really taste several styles in one place. It feels unique, modern, and the restaurant stays open late, which is probably why so many young people come here.
If you’re a noodle lover, this is definitely a fun and unique place to try. The prices are affordable, and the overall quality is solid. If you live in the Rowland Heights area, it’s worth stopping by at least once to check it out.“

“Pickled Fish: The fish is so tender that it melts in your mouth, the sauerkraut is crispy and appetizing, the soup base is sour and spicy but not choking at all, every bite is full of sincerity! I especially like the light numbing aroma, paired with hot rice, it is simply a healing tool in winter!
Guobao Pork: Under the golden and crispy skin is tender and juicy tenderloin. The ratio of sweet and sour sauce is just right. You can hear the "click" when you bite into it! The texture is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is definitely a textbook interpretation of Northeastern cuisine!
Home-style tofu: The tofu is fried until it is charred on the outside and tender on the inside. It absorbs the fragrance of the sauce and is smooth and tender in the mouth without losing the bean flavor. Paired with the crispness of fungus and green pepper, it is full of texture, simple but full of homey taste, and it is a perfect meal!
The three dishes in this restaurant each have their own merits. The taste is authentic and the portions are substantial. You will become a fan after eating it once! Highly recommended to friends who love food~“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“I recently tried Chubby Skewers and overall had a pretty good experience. They have a great selection of meats, and at $1.20 per skewer, it’s easy to try a variety without spending too much.
That said, some of the meats were a bit on the tougher side, which took away from the experience a little. But not everything was a miss, the grilled oysters and scallops were definitely highlights and tasted really good.
I also liked that you can order from the menu if you want something more than skewers. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for variety at a reasonable price, with a few standout items worth coming back for.“

“Been coming here for some time now so I am definitely biased. That said, food here is served to order and is always fresh and hot. This recent visit we (the Wife and I and my Son) had an order of egg fried rice, sweet and sour fish and moo shu pork. All of the dishes were delicious, nothing to note in the way of any disappointment. They have a great beef chow fun and many of the other dishes are very 👍 good. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for some good Chinese food in the area. Only note to make is it can get busy here and the owner and a few staff run this place so call ahead and order to go or just be patient...it is definitely worth it😋.“

“A friend wanted to try this place out and it’s closer to home so we went. They have variety of lunch specials until 3pm. Comes with egg flower or hot and sour soup with an egg roil served with white or fried rice. We ordered mushroom chicken and Mongolian beef. Both dishes were tasty. The Mongolian beef was done right, with sliced yellow onion and green onion! A bit skimpy on the green onion but the taste was just right. The mushrooms chicken was also great with plenty of chopped garlic and the chicken breast pieces were tender. Service was quick and the records are just your ordinary place to dine. Got my fix in.“

“Not really a foodie but love finding gems like Luyu Dumplings when traveling. It was slight challenge to find as there is beauty shop sign above.
Parking is fairly plentiful.
That being said, the food is FANTASTIC. From the vegetarian hot and sour soup to the onion pancakes to soup dumplings, everything we ordered was FABULOUS. Comparable to some of the Chinese food we have had in Richmond BC. There was only one poor soul to take orders. Pack up to-go orders, act as busboy, greeter, cashier, server so be kind and pack your patience the food is worth it.
Prices are more than reasonable so please give this lovely local place a try. Sorry no pictures, we were too hungry to pause for photos“

“I was in town and looking for a new place to try. Thanks to Yelp, I found Noodlemii nearby. We headed over for a weekend dinner and didn't have to wait long for our group of two.
We tried a variety of their menu items, including the black pepper udon ($12), yellow curry ($11), beef skewers ($6.50), and a Thai iced tea ($3.50). Food came out pretty timely and everything was really good! Good portion sizes too.
Bonus points for being part of the Diamond Bar Open Rewards program. Good amount of parking in a shared plaza. Will be back to try more of their noodle dishes next time!“

“Food: 4*
Service: 5*
Ambiance: 3*
Stopped by here for dinner and we were not disappointed. All the food was fresh, tasty, and ample. We were a party of 8, so we ordered and good amount of food. Everything was great. The orange chicken was not as sweet as others and was really good.
Food break down:
The hot and sour soup was delicious, tasty and hit the spot.
The sliced fish in Szechwan sauce was fantastic. The fish was perfectly cooked and the heat was the right amount of spice and flavor.
The pork and cabbage dumplings were juicy and tender. I wished I ordered two orders of this.
The combination sautéed noodles was great as well. A good mix of pork, chicken, and seafood with a nice light sauce. Very tasty.
The pan seared green beans were delicious. Tender crisp with “the breath” of the wok which was slightly smokey. Always a favorite.
The combination fried rice was tasty and a good balance of flavors. For the rice lovers.
The braised eggplant was a surprise hit. Eggplant can be bland but this wasn’t. It had a nice blend of spice and flavor, and was a hit.
The beef with broccoli was delicious as well. Tasty and packed with tender crisp broccoli.
The service was great. The owner lady was attentive, helpful and gave good recommendations (sliced fish, hot and sour soup). The ambience was dated, but clean. No A/C made it hot while eating. All in all a great meal.“

“We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.“
