Best chorizo ever! 😋
I like going here on my lunch time. I was excited to try their food since it said it's authentic Mexican food. Let me tell you, they're not lying. I swear it's just like mom's cooking. I enjoyed their flautas plate, the tinga is great and the machaca con huevo as well. Their red sauce is on point 👍🏽Everytime I go there, I always get something new to try. Definitely recommend Amores Restaurant💯

Amores Restaurant is a classic, clean little cafe offering authentic Mexican food that tastes just like mom's cooking. The dishes are served on beautiful tableware, with fresh flowers on every table, and the food is so good it feels like Grandma is in the kitchen. The flautas plate, with great tinga and machaca con huevo, is a favorite, and the red sauce is on point. The cheese enchiladas are the best ever had, and the chilaquiles plate is the best around for breakfast or lunch. The Lemon Cake with pistachio cream topping is a dessert to live for. Food is not heavy or overly complicated, with fresh ingredients and attention to detail. Portions are ample, and service and prices are excellent. However, the fish in the fish tacos can be hard to find, and the super hot salsa should be approached with caution. Chips and salsa are extra, with tiny salsa cups and no refills. The place gets packed in the evening, and it is definitely a treasure among many in the Village.
