“Standard Blaze Pizza with a large party/group room. Like most Blaze, their oven need more frequent cleaning. We got a small layer of burnt flour on the bottom of our pies. Doesn't effect the taste of the pie much, just looks unsightly.“

“It was my first time at firehouse subs, and it was amazing! The lady who was working, took time, even though it was close to closing, and she was super friendly! Then I had the sandwich, and it was super good! It was double the size of a subway sandwich, and the bread was delicious. I’m definitely coming back to firehouse subs, but specifically this location, since the service was excellent! I don’t remember the server’s name, but it was Tuesday evening, 8/25/26!“

“The best Chinese food you'll get in the area, hands down. Not only that, but the price is more than fair for how much they pack into the plate. I saw the lady literally playing tetris with the beef and broccoli pieces so that she could get the maximum amount in there! The front ladies are ALWAYS SO POLITE AND SWEET, their service is above and beyond, every single time. There may be a wait for fresh food some times, but that's okay because it is worth it! I took my girlfriend once (for her first time) and we went back 2 more times in that week because she asked 😄“

“We had submitted a large order for lunch one day, Araceli (Tha Manager) & her team really came through for us and out order in a short time notice. Upon arriving I saw her as well as her team cranking out happy customers and delicious food as quick as can be. 5-Stars across the board no questions asked!“

I’ve been to other WaBa Grill locations, but this La Verne location is extra, extra clean. The restaurant is always spotless, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious every time we visit.
What really makes it special is the amazing staff and owner. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming with a smile which makes the whole experience even better.

If you’re in La Verne and looking for a healthy, tasty meal, this spot is definitely a go to!!
