“My mom and brother and I went to The Heights for lunch, and we enjoyed everything about it, the vibe, my chicken marsala was delicious, mom had cranberry turkey sandwich and loved it, brother had the dill salmon, he loved it. My only complaint is, it can get a little loud when the place gets full of customers. Yes half of it is a bar, but overall, we will be going back, great place!!“

“Had breakfast there and was hot and filling. Ordered the country skillet and was excellent! Coffee is good but they serve it in a small cup that cools down too fast. Service was fast and excellent.
Also bought some of there cookies and they are good but not great.“

“This spot is a true gem. Everything I tried was tasty and satisfying. The servings are massive and the prices are very fair, so you really feel like you are getting great value. The Hat is a reliable choice, and every item from the chili to the pastrami is packed with flavor. You really cannot go wrong here.“

“There are very fiew places that make exceptionally great food. This place starts with amazing beans. 1000 stars. This a an update to a previous review. They are willing to make custom burritos. I requested a chili of my preference. They made a custome carne asada burrito with morita chili peppers. The best burrito I have had in 30 years. The last time I had a burrito this good was when I was in Texas right at the Mexico/Texas border.“

“When I think of a good restaurant, I’m not fully focused on taste. I can have the best meal in the world, and if the service and attitude is subpar, it reflects on how I think and feel about the enjoyment while there. Today, I was warmly greeted by Teresa. I looked over the menu and selected the Honey Baked Ham Classic sandwich and added potato salad for a side order. I went with sourdough bread over a croissant. As I was waiting for the preparation, another waitress came out and gave me a sample of a seasonal menu item, the Cuban Slider. Wow, was that good! It’s a slider with ham and pulled pork with mustard. I found out that this is one of two establishments that has a restaurant built inside within the state of California. They are open breakfast, lunch, and dinner… hours are 8 AM to 6 PM on the weekdays, closing at 5 PM on Saturdays, and closing 4 PM on Sundays. This is my first time ever eating at the restaurant. Usually, people think of buying spiral hams during holidays. Now I know where to go for my Saturday breakfast with the guys. It’s cute enough of a place to draw in the ladies for their social gatherings, too. The food is outstanding and you can always pick up prepared food to go from their deli section after painting the tab. The Cuban sliders were so good that I bought a dozen of them to bring home to my wife for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner. You know with honeybaked ham you’re never gonna go wrong with anything on their menu. I can’t wait to try their breakfast burrito. Here are some photos using my iPhone 13 Pro and included the menu, as well…“

“The service was OK, but it could have been better. My friend and I were only checked on a couple of times. One of those times, I asked for a box and waited a long time. I think he forgot about it. I also didn't really like the food this time. The spicy poblano omelet had almost no shredded beef. I was really looking forward to it, so I was really disappointed.“

“one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly becomes your “how did I not know about this?” place. I came in for breakfast and left thinking, “Okay… so we’re coming back for lunch too.”
First off: the vibe is classic, cozy, and unpretentious—clean tables, a steady hum of regulars, and staff who greet you like you’ve been eating here for years (in the best way). Service was quick without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want when coffee is still doing its job.
Food-wise, everything felt made-to-order and generously portioned. The breakfast plate in the photo—eggs smothered in a bright, chunky salsa with beans and melted cheese—hits that perfect comfort-food zone: warm, savory, and surprisingly balanced. The salsa has real tomato-and-chile character (not that watery “red sauce” situation), and the beans are creamy enough to scoop up with every bite. Add the dollop of sour cream and it’s basically breakfast therapy.
Then there’s the breakfast sandwich + hash browns combo. The bun is soft, the egg is fluffy, the bacon brings the salt-and-smoke, and the cheese does what cheese is supposed to do: glue happiness together. The hash browns are the kind you keep “sampling” until you realize you accidentally ate half the plate.
And because it’s Molly’s Souper, you can’t not try soup—even at breakfast. The lighter broth soup (with carrot and veggies) is clean and comforting, and the creamy one in the little cup is rich without being heavy—perfect “I want something cozy but I still have a day to live” energy.
Overall: hearty breakfast, genuinely friendly service, and that rare feeling you get when a place is consistent and cares. If you’re in Upland and want a solid, satisfying meal that doesn’t try too hard, Molly’s Souper is an easy yes.“
