“We loved visiting Broken Spirits during our trip to Disneyland. The food all sounded delicious, but execution was hit and miss on which items tasted good. We got the Tragic Kingdom drink (this shit is bananas!) and I was disappointed that it did not in fact taste like bananas at all. The decor was super cute and spooky, the staff was absolutely lovely. We will definitely go back and give it another shot.“

“Great happy hour and good food. We went here while staying at the hotel for our Disney trip and it ended up being our groups rest spot after a long day. If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful. “It’s our last night here and we were going to venture out of the hotel to try something we haven’t had before. We decided last minute that we would stay in the hotel for dinner because we are so tired. We are so glad we stayed and had dinner at the Tangerine Room. Everything was beyond exceptional. Jonathan was a wonderful server with a great partner in Manuel. I’m not sure who is cooking but my husband and I have fairly low expectations with getting our steak temperatures perfect and having the side dishes all hit. The steaks were cooked absolutely mind blowing perfect and the duck fat Parmesan potatoes will make you want to quit your job and sell them at the airport!
Yeah, so we are beyond satisfied with this restaurant. I would come back even if we weren’t staying here.“

“Carthay Circle Lounge was our favorite restaurant during our Disneyland trip. It was so good that we ate their twice! We loved the Vietnamese lettuce wraps the bao buns, and the Sparkling Mare cocktail was delicious. We had a reservation the first time and did a walk up for the second visit.“

“We were here for the X-JAMM Elements of Sound event during NAMM 2019. I bought our tickets because of Devin Townsend, but we were both excited to see Larry Mitchell, OHM (guitar god Chris Poland) and Larry Mitchell perform live, as well. I had no idea what to expect from the venue itself; I bought tickets two days before the show and was super disappointed by our placement. We were in the front row, but sitting at stage right. I thought for sure I'd miss a lot because I am so vertically challenged. Turns out I had no reason to despair. Our seats were practically on stage. They set up a small row of seats where the pit would live (in another, non-seated venue). We had up-close views of all performers, and the audio was expertly mixed to allow us to experience the music in all its glory. We were shown to our seats right when we checked in, and instantly had one of the friendliest waitresses at our side, asking for our drink and/or food orders. We both asked for a Guinness and told her we might order food later (it's not food from the restaurant next door if you're curious; they only serve stadium-type items). She came back empty-handed, apologizing profusely that the bar was out of Guinness. We changed our orders, and let her know it was totally fine, but she was so sweet and I could tell she felt bad. She made it a point to check on us throughout the night (we did end up sharing an order of $8 nachos to go with our $8 beers; at least she hooked us up on the cheese sauce), making sure not to bother us while a performance was actually happening. Now that I know that this place exists, I'll keep an eye on their events calendar. I liked how easy it was to get there, and how friendly the staff was. I just know to plan to eat dinner ahead of time, to save money.“

Anyway, got myself a to go lunchbox with Chicken teriyaki, it comes with rice, salad, sushi also a side of tempura variety which is potato, onion, broccoli and shrimp

The chicken teriyaki is great, well done not dried out, crispy and really nice sauce

Sushi is great, just needed spicy mayo it would be a winner

Tempura is also great.

“This truck was parked outside of Bottle Logic. We thought it was just a regular taco truck, but ended up impressed. The classic tacos were excellent. The best part was the tortillas - soft and thick. They must have been made fresh. The fillings were pretty good and had a good amount of meat. There were many different types of salsas and some had a good amount of spiciness, not overpowering. I am a fan and was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully this truck makes it way to south county.“

“Cafe Daisy is located in mickeys toon town. Super cute cafe and Customer service was really nice! They have plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered the Daisy’s dressed-up dog, which had Mac and cheese and chili on a huge hotdog! I paired it with a sweet tea to balance the heaviness of the hot dog. Everything was delicious! I would recommend this place!“

“Good Lunch and Friendly Service Inside the Anaheim Marriott

This afternoon I had lunch at nFuse Restaurant, Bar & Lounge inside the Anaheim Marriott while I was in town for the 2026 ASSP Convention + Expo. Since the hotel and convention area were busy, I got there before noon hoping to beat the crowd. That turned out to be a good move.

I decided to sit at the bar, and the staff made a good first impression right away. The bartenders were friendly, welcoming, and quick to get me settled. Since it was still early in the day, I played it safe with an iced tea, which arrived within minutes, along with the menu.

I ordered the Roasted Turkey Club with onion rings. As shown in my photo, the plate came out looking solid, with a good-sized sandwich, plenty of turkey, onion rings, sauces, and a pickle on the side. The food came out shortly after I ordered, which I appreciated because I was hungry and had convention plans to get back to.

The meal hit the spot. The sandwich was filling, the onion rings were good, and the portion was so large I couldn't finish it all, even though I came in starving.

Overall, this was a good lunch with friendly service and convenient access if staying at or visiting the Anaheim Marriott. I will most likely stop in again while I am here for the ASSP convention. 4/5 stars.“
