I parked in downtown Disney parking. The restaurant only validates Disney Hotel parking lot. I have to pay full parking of $17.00.
We always love coming here. Reminds us of Hawaii and love the live music. We got the green beans like we always do and today were the best ever. Sometimes they are kinda rank lol or just taste like old oil but this batch today were green bean tasting and wonderful.
Come here for the Dole whip when visiting Downtown Disney. You do not have to dine in to get Dole whip, you can order to go. You can also visit without being a Disneyland hotel guest.
Seating is practically impossible to find when they are busy, so you may have to find seating elsewhere on the hotel grounds.

Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill at Disney offers a lively outdoor bar and restaurant with a fun, exotic vibe. The atmosphere is enhanced by lit tiki torches and lamps, creating a tropical setting perfect for relaxing after a busy day at Disney. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and often, live Hawaiian music adds to the enjoyable experience.
The food menu features a range of options, with some dishes rated from good to excellent. The wings are especially praised for their quality, and the Hawaiian cheeseburger is described as very good with top-grade beef. Guests also enjoy the poke bowl, finding it fresh and delicious. For drinks, the tiki cocktails are highly recommended, with some served in collectible mugs that can be a bit pricey but add to the fun. During a visit, a memorable moment involved a waitress setting sugar cubes on fire to make a cool drink.
Breakfast options are available without a wait, including French toast and pork dishes, which are said to be fast and delicious. Dole Whips are also offered, along with tiki drinks from Trader Sam’s at a walk-up window. Visitors have even been surprised with special treats like sherbet-type ice cream for celebrations, making each visit memorable. Even with some variability in food, the overall experience—great service, lively atmosphere, and tasty dishes—makes Tangaroa Terrace a popular choice for guests looking to unwind after a day at Disney.
