If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful. “We came here twice on our latest Disney trip. We had never been to this location. We were pleasantly surprised. After trying unsuccessfully for weeks to get reservations, we decided to go in the morning for breakfast. Until 5pm they will seat children inside the bar. No strollers and max 5 people. No stroller parking. We had breakfast one day with cocktails while our kids and grandkids did Goofy’s Kitchen. The food was good and the drinks were fantastic. Totally worth it to start a full day at Disneyland here. It’s easier to get a spot inside in the mornings for sure. We were the only ones there for the first half hour. The second day we came here for brunch. Sat outside with the kids and had a lovely meal with great cocktails. It’s Disney, so the prices reflect that… but still, it was a fun experience for all of us. Biggest disappointment, not meeting Kelly Merrill. But we will try again next time we’re down here.“

“Shout out to Baran Mediterranean restaurant. We had a superbowl/ 50th birthday party yesterday and everything was literally perfect. Food/staff/ decorations/ cake, everything was perfect. There's nothing I would change or do differently. We had a party of 80 and everyone has been texting today saying how good the food was. Go try them out, you won't regret it. Owners are pretty amazing too, super friendly and down to earth. Thank you Baran!!!!❤️“

“I am reviewing the concession stand in Disneyland. The pictures above do not reflect the concession stand. They offer beer, sesonal drinks, and some top quality pretzels. I actually had to have one of each. They offered a Mickey Pretzel with salt and cheese. The cheese tasted like Cheez whiz but the pretzel was good. They also have a cream cheese pretzel that was amazing. Finally they have a jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel that was also really good.

Overall this was the best thing I ate in the park.“

“Ribs and chocolate cake, and sweet smashed potatoes and mac n cheese were superb. As was the tri tip salad. Service was the best. I wish I could teach ALL restaurants how to make regular mashed potatoes, especially if they aren't serving gravy. Never the less, 5 stars.“

“We recently visited the Broken Spell Lounge as the first stop on our Disney bar crawl. The atmosphere was classy and lowkey. The menu features drinks themed after Sleeping Beauty. There were not many people there even on a Friday night, so we were able to walk right in and grab a table.

Our server, David D, took amazing care of us. We were in a bit of a time crunch because our table at Trader Sam’s was ready a lot sooner than we had expected. David took our order, gave us our drinks, and rang us up very quickly. In total, we probably spent only around 15 minutes there, and David made the process seamless for us. 

Although we only had a few minutes to enjoy our drinks, each concoction was distinct enough to leave an impression after the quick round of sips we had before we had to chug our drinks. I will rapidly fire my thoughts as rapidly as we passed the glasses amongst each other.

The Benevolent Faerie is a flight of three potions, crafted in the likeness of the fairies Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. My favorite was the green drink. On the nose, it was minty and refreshing. On the palate, a sweet, creamy matcha. The red one was decent. Sweet and tangy. I thought the blue one tasted like cough syrup and did not finish it.

The Make It Blue, Make It Pink, is a nod to Princess Aurora’s color changing dress, and you can probably guess exactly what this drink does and what ingredients are included. That’s right - Empress Gin and lemon juice. A small note I’d like to make is that anyone who orders this drink is more than likely doing it for the show - so a little warning before you pour the lemon juice for us to get our cameras would be nice. As you can see in the video, the drink was already a bit pink because we asked the runner to stop the pour (this is not about you David, don’t worry).

The Black Thorn Bramble would probably be the most universally palatable drink out of everything we ordered. You can’t really go wrong with a fruity drink with a vodka base. Sweet and refreshing.

But my favorite drink is probably the most polarizing of the bunch - the Raven’s Wing. You get a little smoke and fire show at the start, and the smokey flavor is infused into your drink. The smoke hits you first and is followed by the sweet and tangy flavors of pineapple and prickly pear. I thought it was interesting and delicious.

I would definitely come back to the Broken Spell Lounge and hopefully be able to actually lounge next time. I was a bit irritated because our table at Trader Sam’s wasn’t even ready for us when we showed up and then our Trader Sam’s server didn’t even greet us for a long time after we were seated. We could’ve taken our time to enjoy the Broken Spell Lounge during the time that Trader Sam’s wasted.“

A big shout-out to the manager, Jeremy, who was very helpful in explaining the unique concept of Detention. It's fascinating how they've blended the speakeasy vibe with the upscale atmosphere of the Library Gentleman's Club, all under one roof.
Speaking of the Library Gentleman's Club, that was also a fantastic experience. High-class ambiance, beautiful women, and a great overall vibe. It was clear that everyone around was having a genuinely good time.

“Bartender on Sundays is chill“

“After twenty years of driving past Keynote’s in Anaheim Hills, we finally decided to give it a shot this week after three separate recommendations. Best decision we made. We arrived early Saturday morning with our two kids, and from the moment we sat down, we knew we’d made the right call.

Our server Ramon was exceptional — warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about his job after thirty six years with the restaurant. He kept our waters filled and made sure the kids were comfortable throughout the meal.

The food was outstanding. I had the Belgian waffle with egg whites and sausage, and it was absolutely perfect — easily a ten out of ten. My daughter devoured the kids chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns with her chocolate milk. My son ordered the chicken and waffles, and here’s a pro tip: ask them for chicken strips instead of the whole breast. The strips are so much easier to eat and actually feel like proper chicken and waffles.

We’re already planning to make this a regular spot — at least once or twice a month. If you’ve been driving past Keynote’s like we have, stop second-guessing yourself and go. You won’t regret it.“

“While I will get personal in this review to a degree, I will also be completely honest. The people you meet at ruby's are a mixed bunch between wonderful and terrible. Though that speaks of the patrons. Among which I have met what might as well be a brother to me, an only child naturally. A father to me, someone raised by a single mother. As well as plenty of friends who care... but also those who'd just take advantage, the good people far outweighed the bad. The ownership is up in the air right now due to a divorce where either potential option has their perks and I'll remain neutral despite saying that the husband's choice in manager needs to learn humility and how to speak to people, an issue many young managers face and must learn in the field when first given a leadership position. As well as the wife's choice could stand to learn when to say no. Regardless though during their personal issue, the staff remains strong and solid. Bartenders who genuinely care enough to personally make sure customers get home safe and sound, as well as give a chance to noble souls amongst the downtrodden, and I speak as someone in love with one and living with one as well.. when alone and broken before, and it was more than one of them, nearly all of them who put in an effort towards helping me through multiple deaths in the family as well as my partner of 10 years leaving me. They are trusting, sometimes too much for their own good, and there is a reason I make the drive from lake Elsinore to anaheim more often than not, and rarely their westminster location still despite the options in between. I have faith in ruby's, it's regulars, and it's staff... no matter who leads it between Cherie and Mike, I know so long as it maintains its spirit, it can and will survive and do well. And I say this as someone with their popularity in reviews based mostly in negative truths. Ruby's sports bar is one of few establishments I place faith and trust in. And if anyone who reads this finds me there, let me know and we'll take a shot on me to Ruby's and the hope and memories it creates!“

I would go back and bring visitors.
