“Probably best to try to visit during slower times as we found free parking pretty close, which was nice. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and service was very friendly and attentive, like the definition of why we love small businesses. Since I was dining with my husband we did the ole half and half so I got to try the Oklahoma Sunset and the Our Go To Italian. While the Oklahoma Sunset isn't really my style when it comes to sandwiches, I couldn't argue with the overwhelming love for it in the reviews so I went that route and was so glad I did. I was less impressed with the Italian, but, and that's a big BUT, I don't like parsley and that was, for me, the dominant flavor in the herb oil. So while I wouldn't recommend that sandwich, it's just preference. My husband enjoyed both but the clear winner was the Oklahoma Sunset. Definitely will be back and looking forward to it.“

“Nice brunch place that has the classics and specialities, with a Filipino and even American trendy brunch style twist, but at slightly lower to comparable prices to other brunch spots.Everything we tried was done perfectly, I especially loved the Birria chilaquiles ($18, not too bad a price for being a huge, shareable portion). We liked the ube cold brew ($7) and even the regular hot coffee (only $3) was very good, as was the ube horchata ($4).The online waitlist is a nice feature, we joined the waitlist on the way over around 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday and were seated immediately“

“It's one of the best sandwich shops around. Everything was fresh. The bread, meats, lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, sauce, etc. I had Tom's Choice. My friends ordered the California delight and turkado. The first bite of Tom's says it all. My taste buds and belly were happy.. It was a big sandwich. I could only eat half. Also, I had the potato salad, too. It was good. The sandwiches were way better. I would come back in the future. Thank you !!“

I really appreciate that San Fransokyo Square caters to the margarita fans (Rita's Turbine Blenders) and the beer fans (Port of San Fransokyo Cerveceria). Basically, you get to pick your poison lol Service is good, it's quick! Beer is cold. And atmosphere is laid back/ casual. There's chairs and tables off to the side that you can sit on outside if you'd like.“

Manchester Bar & Lounge Bar • $$$
1441 S Manchester Ave, Anaheim

“We were staying at this hotel with a group of 10 kids and adults. We originally had dinner reservations at Disney Adventure Park but the place was crushed and they told us our reservations would be delayed by up to an hour ..... so we decided to have dinner at Manchester back at the hotel and were VERY glad we did. This place is a hidden gem!The hostess/bartender (Ellen) was fantastic. Super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and she did an amazing job churning out a huge selection of drinks, even making some off-menu mocktails for the kids. Its worth it to visit this place just for her.The food was great and came out fast and hot. Most of us had flatbreads and they were really tasty and fresh. The mushroom flatbread in particular was really delicious.Overall would highly recommend this place for dinner, especially if you're staying at this or a nearby hotel and especially if you want a MUCH better alternative to an over-priced meal at Disney.“

“This is a family favorite now. The chicken is always hot, well seasoned/sauced, and the fries are bomb. You need to try the spicy galbi chicken and the mala chicken. Or if you don't want heat, their classic chicken is so crisp and moist - an excellent product. And don't skip the sides. The fries have such good crisp and texture, the tteokbeoki is so chewy. We usually do take out, order it online, and the time estimates are always spot on so we have never had a problem with cold food or things sitting too long. Highly recommend this place.“

Hammer Workshop & Bar Bar • $$
440 S Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim

“For the past 5 years the Hammer has been my go to place to grab a drink where I don't have to worry if the bartender is good enough to make sure it doesn't taste like I'm drinking rubbing alcohol. Out of their current menu I only know of the Zombie (which is super cool) but I always order my two go-to drinks there that are from their older menus: the class of '98 (aka the basic bitch) and the foreign friend. Both drinks are refreshing and slightly fruity. I frequent the bar and an satisfied with their services and drink quality that I own two of their t-shirts that you can buy if you're weird like I am about getting t shirts from places that offer basic non-tacky looking shirts, 10/10 recommended for comfort and laid back looking t shirt. The bartenders sometimes are wearing them.“

Chambers Bar & Bistro American • $$
435 W Katella Ave, Anaheim

“This place is perhaps one of the most overlooked gems in Anaheim. It is not big, it is not fancy, and it is not over the top like a lot of places around Disney. But it is also not crowded or dramatically overpriced! This place has a solid menu with enough variety to keep everyone happy for breakfast or dinner at prices that are not only reasonable but appropriate. After spending a week in Anaheim fighting for access to every restaurant in or near Disney, only to be outraged by the exorbitant prices, mediocre food and lackluster service, we found ourselves coming back to Chambers time and again. There was never a wait, service was AMAZING (Jose G is one of the nicest guys we have ever met and is amazingly thoughtful and attentive) and the prices and food were reasonable. Should we come back to Anaheim and Disney we will very likely stay at Hotel Indigo again, and we will eat here probably every day.“

“I love the green chicken pozole. The service is wonderful. The place is clean, and the food taste is fresh. It really does taste like it's home made. I also like the Fideo soup, taste home made as well. The potato tacos here are better than El Patron. The esquite, I like the strong lemon flavor, and the portion is good too, the esquite here is better than La Michoacana's. I'm a lazy cook, so I'm always looking to find who makes the dishes I make at home, and my go to for this place is the chicken pozole and fideo soup, and the potato taco.“

“Emily is the best bartender ever. The cave seems like a hole in the wall, but the family atmosphere created by the bartenders and local patrons make it a place worth spending your evenings at. If you can make it to the Cave during your stay in Anaheim, it will be worth the time invested. Ask for Emily she is by far the best human in existence, and she just so happens to work here.“

“So the food was good, not great and not terrible. A few of the items were a little too salty, and that's coming from my husband who uses way too much salt. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential and should work on their menu in order to justify their prices. However, I will say the cocktails are amazing! My husband likes an NA beer from time to time and they didn't have any on hand, which is surprising but hopefully the restaurant will consider in the future.“

“We had dinner there last night for my birthday, the truth is, it was more or less tasty, we ordered a molcajete Mar y tierra, for my taste, very bland, the meat had no flavor, the chicken was overcooked and the sauce was very spicy, I asked the waitress and she assured me that it wasn't spicy, I wanted the sauce aside and he insisted that it wasn't spicy, I didn't like that attitude but anyway it's over, the shrimp with bacon are cool, we'll think about whether we come back.“
