“First timer drove all the way from Downey worth the drive. I had the blue cheese bacon burger with garlic fries and of course a Dr. Pepper. Very friendly staff they all help out my daughter had the mushroom burger with onion rings and my son had the bacon cheese burger with tots. A must try the only other thing that caught my eye was the hot wings the table next to us ordered Definitely next time“

“Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience here! The selection of beers on draft is great, and everything I tried was excellent. But the real standout for me was the “Tom Cat” sandwich on Squaw bread—it was seriously delicious and an absolute must-try. I enjoyed every bite!

What really made the experience special, though, was the people. The owners and employees genuinely care about their customers and take pride in making sure everyone is having a great time. You can tell that creating a welcoming atmosphere and giving people a great experience is important to them.

“The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

“My favorite place to go eat when i visit my family in Santa Ana. I usually get their Fish platter. With black beans, rice, and Ensenada style fish. Ive tried their grilled fish which is actually subpar, definitely their worse style. Blackened is good, but Ensenada style is where its at.“

“Tsuruhashi Plus was fantastic. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and the quality of the meat really is on another level. Every cut that came to the table was beautiful, perfectly marbled and incredibly tender. Cooking everything ourselves right at the table just makes the whole dinner more fun and turns it into an experience instead of just another meal.

Everything tasted fresh and high quality, and the staff was attentive and helpful without hovering over us. We came here for a birthday dinner and it was a perfect place to celebrate.

Is it cheap? Nope. But sometimes you just have to treat yourself. You’re worth it. Great food, great experience, and definitely a place we’ll come back to“

“This is a traditional Vietnamese bar & grill place (Quan Nhau). It has a lively atmosphere. Seems to be popular with the older folks compared to other places. Having said that, the service and food are great! Just be ready for the bad, loud karaoke singing and smoking. Not a family hangout.“

Clam soup 5* warning, can be spicy. Don't let th clear broth fool u!

Service was 5* we chose to sit outdoors cuz we brought our dog, and they set up a table on their patio for us (w a fan, cuz hot outside! That's service!)

Highly recommended. I didn't have any alcohol, but it would go great with food. They offer soju bombs w a beer tower.. how fun is that!!!

The tropical margarita was a show stopper, fresh lime and coconut is a combo I didn’t know I needed. Jeff's still king behind the bar, new gals laugh real, pour cold, TVs sharp as knives. Only hitch-get Cruisers to wing it over so we quit dodgin' Death Trap Balboa Boulevard.
