California Shabu Shabu offers a delightful dining experience with high-quality, prime steak and various broth options. The Tonkatsu and Sukiyaki broths are popular choices, and the spicy Miso broth adds a kick. While the spicy Miso broth could use a less spicy alternative, customization is encouraged with various add-ins like garlic, green onion, and sauces. The restaurant offers a modern and inviting ambiance, although some may prefer softer music over the current loud rap. The service is excellent, making it a clean and pleasant dining destination in OC.
