“A very good hotpot restaurant. Best in S. Cal. We had the standard AYCE option. You need to watch when the servers deliver the meat as the highest quality meat will get taken quickly. Same for the lobster rolls. I highly recommend that you give this place a try.“

“We were looking for a place to eat late into the night and found this on Google. Boy was it good!!!! It's all you can eat and they have different combos for anyone's budget. They were really nice and got us a table even though it was late but honestly we left stuff silly on all the tasty food. It's such a pretty location and the servers were helpful despite us ending our time a little after closing. We got the combo B and almost every meat we tried was a hit. They have so many options in broth, seafood, and veggies. Sidenote: I can't recommend the lemonade enough XD they also have a nice little punch card deal with a nice reward for when you hit 10 visits. We will be back for more in the future! Have patience the quality is worth it.“

The Premium AYCE menu was packed with high-quality options, including tender Wagyu ribeye, fresh sushi rolls, and unique Korean ice cream soju cocktails. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.

Beyond the food, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The space was clean, modern, and welcoming, making it a great spot for date nights, celebrations, or a fun dinner with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, which made the experience even better.

If you’re looking for an elevated all-you-can-eat experience with premium meats, sushi, and creative drinks, Avenue Shabu is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back!“

“It was good. I give it a 7/10. The sauces were fantastic, service was good, and restaurant was nice/clean. I didn’t like that there was no onion, no plain white rice 🍚, and only one type of noodle. That’s my honest review. I’d still go again.“

“Chinese hot pot place, open late, $15 a pound plus the cost of broth, but I think you can also do dry bowls without broth.
They have a good selection of vegetables, noodles, meats, including shrimp, fish, and squid. I liked the shrimp and fish, but would not do the squid again because it was a little chewy.
I had the bone broth which was too heavy on the five spice flavor for my palette. Next time, I’ll try a different broth or maybe just a dry bowl.
I thought the music they played inside was pretty awful, but thankfully there’s plenty of outdoor seating :)
I’m definitely willing to try this place again.“

I especially appreciate how the owner often offers free alcohol to customers, adding that extra touch of hospitality. I first visited when they first opened a few years ago, and at that time, it wasn’t too busy. But with the incredible food, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, it’s no surprise that Kiazen Shabu has become so popular. Now, it's always packed, so be prepared to wait, especially on weekends and during dinner hours – but trust me, it's worth it! “This place is really good. We got the Bun bo hue, vermacelli hanoi, and broken rice plate. Prices are reasonable and the flavors are good. I liked the little char on their Viet meatballs. The portions are decent. The bun bo hue has really good flavor, not watery nor just salty. You can order right off the tablet for quick orders. This might be one of my new favorite places to go.“

“I live nearby and would like to support this Bar 100%. Staff and food quality and cleanliness are equally excellent. Have been going to this bar for more than 5YRs. Also, the location and the next-door wonderful restaurants are attractive to hang out.
This review is to suggest a few things that might attract more traffic: providing options of peanut-sauces (I loved the P. sauce from California Shabu Shabu but chose this Bar to support the business), installing the led-blinking light with a design for the interior wall and wrap around the bar. “I really enjoyed this place because it brings together different types of Asian cuisine in one spot. Being able to order both hot pot and sushi is such a great combination! Cooking your own hot pot makes the whole experience fun and interactive, and everything was fresh and delicious. Considering the price, I expected a wider variety and better overall value. If you're looking for a restaurant that specializes in sushi, I don't think this would be my first choice. However, the shabu-shabu looked much more impressive. The quality and variety of the meats appeared to be excellent, making it a great option for meat lovers. I would definitely consider coming back to try the shabu-shabu instead of the sushi.“

I had the best experience at Tabu Shabu! I sat out on the patio with my dog and it was absolutely perfect—comfortable, welcoming, and such a great vibe. I ordered a glass of wine and started with the cucumber appetizer and edamame, both super fresh and full of flavor. The highlight was the salmon bowl with rice…so delicious, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and they made me (and my pup!) feel totally at home. I think everyone came out at some point to visit with me and my pup. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and a dog-friendly spot for a drink and apps (cant do hotpot outside, but still worth it).“

“I came by because of the special pricing on their Com Tam and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The Suon, Cha and Nuoc Mam were superbly done. I haven't found this level of quality and expertise outside of VN so this was great. Their Bi is was somewhat off on the day of my visit because the pork skin was a bit sticky but the flavor was fine. They're doing a Com Tam special for $10 and $12 probably to bring in new customers, but I would probably pay $20 and save myself a trip to VN (ha ha). Will update my review when I have a chance to try their other food items.“

“Love this place. Very large & roomy & clean inside. The veggies are very fresh, especially the rau muon❗ I love the oc & the marinated meats for the grilled. The price for dinner AYCE for both the grill& the hotpot is very decent. Highly recommended.“

Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza, and there's plenty of free parking.

Ambiance/Environment: It's very clean inside. There's a decent amount of seating. We visited on a Thursday night, so it wasn't too busy.

Service: Our server was efficient. We didn't catch her name, but she was knowledgable about the menu when we asked questions. Throughput was under 15 min after ordering. After receiving our orders, our server checked on us a couple times.

Soup & meats: My bf and I ordered the 'specials for 2' and went with the shared brisket set. The soup was decent; wasn't too salty. My favorite part were the briskets. It came with a generous amount of briskets. The toppings were also fresh. This special included beers and desserts.“

“Wowwwww… tried this place for the first time tonight for dinner and I was blown away!! I ordered the Chongqing chicken and spicy pork wontons with white rice and loved everything. Service was fast for dinner time and the cashier was so kind and helpful and even gave me some recommendations too. The chicken was just the right amount of spicy and the wontons were some of my favorite I’ve had. Portions are also big enough to share. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. Easy parking too. I will be back…“
