If someone told me I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would be Mokkoji. I have a dedicated album of just pics of the same meal I have there because it's that good. Deada my favorite hot pot spot- cost, portions, and quality are all top tier. The sesame sauce is the best I've ever had and I've been to a LOT of hot pot places. I came late on a Saturday night and had a great experience, mainly due to the customer service. A girl name leilani? (Sorry if I butcher this) was very attentive and explained pretty much how everything worked. It was our first time. We got the Mokkoji cut SH 32 pieces to share for four people. And the toro belly (this was a little overzealous in fat). The sauce was dank. I also got hot drops in my soup broth. Been wanting to try Mokkoji and I'm so glad I did today for lunch! My party of 3 came on a Sunday afternoon 30 mins after they opened, and we were seated right away.
