“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.

The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.

In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.“

“This was actually my first time finding out that Haidilao has an all-you-can-eat option! We tried the $32.99 per person package, and the beef and lamb were both right up my alley—nicely marbled, with slices that were just the right thickness. Even though it’s a buffet, the portions definitely didn’t feel skimpy. I’m also a big fan of quail eggs and egg dumplings when I have hot pot, so with those added in, I was already more than satisfied.

It’s also a pretty stress-free option when dining with kids. The service was, as always, thoughtful and attentive. They prepared a kids’ meal, a magic wand, and a little balloon for my daughter . When I handed my phone to my kid to watch something, the server even brought over a phone stand without me asking.“

“One of the best Mala ive ever had in the US. It tasted exactly like the malatang in korea and it wasnt too spicy or too sweet. The owner was so nice to us, and the workers were helpful and nice. The materials are fresh and the broth tastes really good.“

Went for the hot pot & BBQ buffet combo. You can pick one broth or go with a double/triple split. Lots of options on the buffet line.

A few standouts:
- Argentine red shrimp – plump, firm, with a nice snap
- Frog legs – surprisingly huge
- Oysters – fat and briny
- Grilled eggplant – soft and fully soaked in garlic sauce; every bite was pure flavor
- Grilled shrimp and grilled chicken skin– also really good

The sauce station was clean, and sodas are self-serve. They're open until 1 or 2 AM – perfect for late-night cravings.“

“My wife and I are huge hot pot enthusiasts. We’ve tried basically all the most authentic hot pot restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, and this place has never disappointed us. The environment is clean, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the sauce station is very well stocked. That’s probably why they’ve stayed strong for many years. “Reservation was made through yelp and we were seated promptly. At the time I went, parking was okay but since it is shared with multiple businesses so it can possibly be packed. The restaurant was clean and decorated with a vibe.

The restaurant offers AYCE shabu meats and sushi. You can choose from two different option tiers (fyi it is more on the pricier side). Their Wagyu was tender and very flavorful and you can choose from a wide selection of nigiri and sashimi. Furthermore, there is also a serve it yourself bar with veggie, side dishes, sauces, curry, and drinks. At the end there are a few ice cream selections you can choose from. I always definitely go for the matcha!

“Thanks to my son in law we got to try a new spot. How Rowland Heights has changed since the 80’s. Just love the rich food scene. Be forewarned. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.“

“Went for the first time to Spicy hot pot yesterday with my husband and we were greeted very nicely with a smile as we came in. The waitress showed us to our table and asked us if it was our first time. The waitress explained and gave us a large plastic bowl with some metal tongs and you serve yourself a wide variety of foods to put into the bowl and then you give it to the waitress and they ask you on what flavored broth you want it cooked with and how spicy you want it. Soon after it comes to you in a ceramic like bowl and it is steaming hot. But when you taste it and BOY!!!!!!!😋

They do have a toppings bar if you want to flavor it with green onions, cilantro, and garlic and some different types of spicy hot sauces to add to your soup.
I ordered mine mild and my husband ordered it spicy and he was sweating while enjoying his Bowl of delicious meats,veggies and noodle soup but still loved his tasty soup.
We are definitely coming back again. The staff is very nice and the restaurant is very clean and the bar where they have the foods for your bowl is super clean and the topping bar. You won't be disappointed the first time you try this place because the food is delicious. Oh and once you get all your food in the bowl for them to cook it they weigh it first and you pay according to the weight after you are done eating and ready to go.
Price we paid is reasonable and honestly we would of paid more elsewhere in a typical restaurant when we go out to eat.“

The young lady there appears inattentive and unsure of the process. Even after joining the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, we're left standing without explanation for 5-10 minutes each visit until another staff member takes over and seats us.
The lack of coordination at the entrance gives the impression that no one is actually managing the line properly.
Fortunately, the rest of the staff are warm and professional, and the hot pot options are solid.“

“The meats were pretty decent, the ponzu was properly made, plenty of chopped scallions, sufficient amount of fresh veggies including 茼蒿price was reasonable for AYCE, and the eating area was roomy and comfortable. We tried its house spicy base, which was a bit spicy but good and the clear bone broth.

“My friend recommended this place and it definitely delivered! It’s a little hole in the wall with aunties coming up a storm of deliciousness. The place is cozy and has room for small out large groups.
They were so polite, kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and was stunning. We got shredded pork rolls that were good. The beef soup with yellow noodles was really good and delicious. Our absolute favorite was the lemon grass chicken. It was so flavorful and had a little kick to it. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken. I can’t wait to get this again. Walked in and we got seated right away! I did go around 3:00 pm, so it wasn’t peak timing, I’m sure it’ll be busy at night since it closes at 1:00 am.

I came for a birthday celebration so ordered extra meats! We got lamb + beef. They’re very generous with their plates so it is worth it. So many options here so i was happy that everyone in my party will have options to pick from.

Noodles - above the food selection to the left of the store. Look up and grab. Feel free to ask the staff if you cant reach it.

Food bar - vegetables, tofu, meats, mushrooms, seafoods! Lots of options.

Drinks - 3 drink options! Included! Their ice bucket is to the left of their drinks!

Sauces - included in your ayce!

Desserts - right of the drinks. Yes, they’re more asian desserts so keep that in mind.

Staff - very attentive. Even though this spot is ayce, they will still check on your soup level + fire.

If you want to take anything to go, they have a to go container for $10!

Parking - its a huge lot so you wont have problems finding parking“

Also, save some room for dessert! They have fresh cut fruits, popcorn, and a soft serve machine!“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

“Hidden hot pot gem – $33.88 AYCE and actually good

This place has been around for over a decade, right by the TAWA plaza.

We got there right when they opened in the afternoon, and the place filled up almost instantly. Most people seemed like regulars.

$33.88 gets you AYCE hot pot + a buffet station + sauces. Same price on weekends, and they don't charge extra for broth. The soup base is surprisingly good – has that nourishing, slightly herbal vibe. Reminded me of the old Little Sheep.

Plenty of options. Lamb and beef are a must – fresh. The pork intestine gets super soft and sticky after a quick boil – I wanted a second plate. The buffet had sesame balls, spring rolls, piggy buns, fries, edamame… the cha siu bao actually tasted like dim sum from a cart.

We also ordered scallion pancake on the side – super crispy. Almost asked for another one to take home.

Service speed is probably the fastest I've seen for AYCE. Food comes quick. Open till midnight – great for late-night cravings. And if you're staying at the Hilton? Literally across the street.“

“Jiaoxiangyuan is a new-style Sichuan restaurant. Its signature dish is the bullfrog double boiler. I invited the whole family to try it at Christmas. It was really good. “I have been to this hot pot restaurant for years and love it. The newly remodel decoration is so nice and they have refrigerators outside which is convenient for customers to get dishes and skewers. The beef is freshly cut upon ordering. We have ordered a lot of skewers and they are only 0.49 per skewer which is super cheap. We like the beef, the vegetables, and pork brain! I loved the fried rice and it came with big portion.“

The atmosphere is pretty nice I went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty easy to find a seat. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Waited about less than 20 minutes for my soup. Overall really good selection for the price. The dipping sauce bar didn’t have a ton of options but overall I really enjoyed this place.“

“We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is ample parking available in the parking lot. The restaurant is located off the beaten path but worth the discovery.

We came in for hot pot. Please note this is not an AYCE place. But the quality here will make you come back.

We got the pork tripe chicken broth. I could drink this all day. We got an assortment of vegetables. We got corn, various mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tofu, greens and water chestnuts. All so good and so fresh.

For proteins we got ribeye, beef tongue, and lamb. Everything was so fatty and flavorful. Such great quality meat.

We also got a few appetizers. The popcorn mushrooms are my new favorite. The mashed garlic cucumbers were crispy and delicious. They also have skewers and we got chicken hearts, which is a personal favorite. And we also got a beef tongue plate. So good and the Chili's brought the heat.

Such friendly service and delicious comfort food will make this a place to come back to again and again.“
