“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.

The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.

In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.“

“This was actually my first time finding out that Haidilao has an all-you-can-eat option! We tried the $32.99 per person package, and the beef and lamb were both right up my alley—nicely marbled, with slices that were just the right thickness. Even though it’s a buffet, the portions definitely didn’t feel skimpy. I’m also a big fan of quail eggs and egg dumplings when I have hot pot, so with those added in, I was already more than satisfied.

It’s also a pretty stress-free option when dining with kids. The service was, as always, thoughtful and attentive. They prepared a kids’ meal, a magic wand, and a little balloon for my daughter . When I handed my phone to my kid to watch something, the server even brought over a phone stand without me asking.“

“Delicious pay-per-pound hot pot at The Source! The service was really good. Our waitress kept checking up on us and our kids. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. They have one area where you grab your bowl and load up with all the ingredients you'd like. They even have a scale for you to check the weight in case you are trying not to order too much. They basically have everything you would want at a pay-per-pound hot pot. Actually they have items I had never seen before. I didn't take a picture to type down the name but they were fun ingredients that even my kids loved.

Their sauce selection is decent too. The only thing they didn't have here was sacha sauce but this is a Korean style restaurant. I can't expect them to have it lol. Overall, definitely would come back the next time I'm at the Source!“

“My partner and I visited Sep 20 around 5:00pm. The worker at the front was nice and helped explain the different tiers since it was our first time. We were tabled shortly and “Jason” was our server. He was friendly, patient, and welcoming. We’re very thankful for him accommodating us during our visit.

The food was not bad, but the experience was great. Especially if you have a big group, I think the most attractive feature of Chubby Mart is how versatile it is. Everybody in your group will find the style of food they want. Whether it’s BBQ or hotpot, sushi, or a buffet style presentation; those options are available to you. Drinks are free/unlimited, they’ll be in a big fridge somewhere in the buffet area.

In my honest opinion, the experience and features they offer justifies the price.“

Went for the hot pot & BBQ buffet combo. You can pick one broth or go with a double/triple split. Lots of options on the buffet line.

A few standouts:
- Argentine red shrimp – plump, firm, with a nice snap
- Frog legs – surprisingly huge
- Oysters – fat and briny
- Grilled eggplant – soft and fully soaked in garlic sauce; every bite was pure flavor
- Grilled shrimp and grilled chicken skin– also really good

The sauce station was clean, and sodas are self-serve. They're open until 1 or 2 AM – perfect for late-night cravings.“

“My wife and I are huge hot pot enthusiasts. We’ve tried basically all the most authentic hot pot restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, and this place has never disappointed us. The environment is clean, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the sauce station is very well stocked. That’s probably why they’ve stayed strong for many years. We come back every once in a while!“

“Reservation was made through yelp and we were seated promptly. At the time I went, parking was okay but since it is shared with multiple businesses so it can possibly be packed. The restaurant was clean and decorated with a vibe.

The restaurant offers AYCE shabu meats and sushi. You can choose from two different option tiers (fyi it is more on the pricier side). Their Wagyu was tender and very flavorful and you can choose from a wide selection of nigiri and sashimi. Furthermore, there is also a serve it yourself bar with veggie, side dishes, sauces, curry, and drinks. At the end there are a few ice cream selections you can choose from. I always definitely go for the matcha!

Overall it was a nice experience. The staff members were friendly, very attentive, and made sure to check up on us to make sure if we needed anything.“

“this is literally one of the best malatang places i have come across in my life, great soup base options, good variety of meats and noodles, and many options for dipping sauces. i usually go for the beef bone soup base at medium spice, and they give you a large pitcher of lemon water at your table. A great place to go after a long day of school or work, especially at this price!“

“The meats were pretty decent, the ponzu was properly made, plenty of chopped scallions, sufficient amount of fresh veggies including 茼蒿price was reasonable for AYCE, and the eating area was roomy and comfortable. We tried its house spicy base, which was a bit spicy but good and the clear bone broth.

We haven’t been to this plaza for a couple of years and seemed that after HMart opened its Chino location, this plaza has been quite empty.“

“I moved to other state 2 years ago and this restaurant is one of restaurants I really miss in LA. Every time I come back to LA I must have a dinner here. This restaurant never let me down. The young lady there appears inattentive and unsure of the process. Even after joining the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, we're left standing without explanation for 5-10 minutes each visit until another staff member takes over and seats us.
The lack of coordination at the entrance gives the impression that no one is actually managing the line properly.

Walked in and we got seated right away! I did go around 3:00 pm, so it wasn’t peak timing, I’m sure it’ll be busy at night since it closes at 1:00 am.

I came for a birthday celebration so ordered extra meats! We got lamb + beef. They’re very generous with their plates so it is worth it. So many options here so i was happy that everyone in my party will have options to pick from.

Noodles - above the food selection to the left of the store. Look up and grab. Feel free to ask the staff if you cant reach it.

Food bar - vegetables, tofu, meats, mushrooms, seafoods! Lots of options.

Drinks - 3 drink options! Included! Their ice bucket is to the left of their drinks!

Sauces - included in your ayce!

Desserts - right of the drinks. Yes, they’re more asian desserts so keep that in mind.

Staff - very attentive. Even though this spot is ayce, they will still check on your soup level + fire.

If you want to take anything to go, they have a to go container for $10!

Parking - its a huge lot so you wont have problems finding parking“

“My friend recommended this place and it definitely delivered! It’s a little hole in the wall with aunties coming up a storm of deliciousness. The place is cozy and has room for small out large groups.
They were so polite, kind and attentive. The food came out quickly and was stunning. We got shredded pork rolls that were good. The beef soup with yellow noodles was really good and delicious. Our absolute favorite was the lemon grass chicken. It was so flavorful and had a little kick to it. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken. I can’t wait to get this again. I also got soy milk and it was absolutely lovely warmed. 10/10 experience!“

“Hidden hot pot gem – $33.88 AYCE and actually good

This place has been around for over a decade, right by the TAWA plaza.

We got there right when they opened in the afternoon, and the place filled up almost instantly. Most people seemed like regulars.

$33.88 gets you AYCE hot pot + a buffet station + sauces. Same price on weekends, and they don't charge extra for broth. The soup base is surprisingly good – has that nourishing, slightly herbal vibe. Reminded me of the old Little Sheep.

Plenty of options. Lamb and beef are a must – fresh. The pork intestine gets super soft and sticky after a quick boil – I wanted a second plate. The buffet had sesame balls, spring rolls, piggy buns, fries, edamame… the cha siu bao actually tasted like dim sum from a cart.

We also ordered scallion pancake on the side – super crispy. Almost asked for another one to take home.

Service speed is probably the fastest I've seen for AYCE. Food comes quick. Open till midnight – great for late-night cravings. And if you're staying at the Hilton? Literally across the street.“

“Loved my experience at East Town hot pot!! It was my first time seeing a charcoal hot pot, and I loved that you could choose two types of soup for each pot! They have a really wide selection of proteins and veggies. I highly recommend the beef and lamb combo! It’s mostly beef options, but it gives you a good selection of their proteins! Also, save some room for dessert! They have fresh cut fruits, popcorn, and a soft serve machine!“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.

Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.“

I found the idea of selecting your uncooked proteins, carbs (e.g noodles) & vegetables, selecting your broth (up to 2) & then cooking them right at your table, very intriguing & different. The staff are very nice & we're ready to explain & walk me through the process as a first timer. The food is delicious & had a lot of variety to choose from for a very varied experience. Tried the all you can eat option but got a happy hour discount. Ambience & decor looked very niche & classy. Plenty of parking spots available to park. Reservations are required for groups but none required if you are a party of one. Plan to arrive 30 mins before closing time to get the best full experience.“

“Jiaoxiangyuan is a new-style Sichuan restaurant. Its signature dish is the bullfrog double boiler. I invited the whole family to try it at Christmas. It was really good. Several dishes recommended by the restaurant manager were very delicious, and the family was full of praises. I stayed here. “I have been to this hot pot restaurant for years and love it. The newly remodel decoration is so nice and they have refrigerators outside which is convenient for customers to get dishes and skewers. The beef is freshly cut upon ordering. We have ordered a lot of skewers and they are only 0.49 per skewer which is super cheap. We like the beef, the vegetables, and pork brain! I loved the fried rice and it came with big portion.“

Tang bar has a wide selection of veggies, meat, noodles, etc. my favorite will always be the enoki mushrooms. The ladies at the cashier are always great and the soup comes out fast. “We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is ample parking available in the parking lot. The restaurant is located off the beaten path but worth the discovery.

We came in for hot pot. Please note this is not an AYCE place. But the quality here will make you come back.

We got the pork tripe chicken broth. I could drink this all day. We got an assortment of vegetables. We got corn, various mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tofu, greens and water chestnuts. All so good and so fresh.

For proteins we got ribeye, beef tongue, and lamb. Everything was so fatty and flavorful. Such great quality meat.

We also got a few appetizers. The popcorn mushrooms are my new favorite. The mashed garlic cucumbers were crispy and delicious. They also have skewers and we got chicken hearts, which is a personal favorite. And we also got a beef tongue plate. So good and the Chili's brought the heat.

Such friendly service and delicious comfort food will make this a place to come back to again and again.“
