The portions are generous, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like a perfect family-friendly spot. Plus, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, even with my allergies. With great service and prices, it's definitely a place I'll be coming back to!”

“just moved nearby and was looking for a tai restaurant. My wife and I thought it was a but odd at forst to learn it was inside a market but it was right when you walk in and they have a nice set up. Very friendly staff and honestly better than our old spot. This is our new spot now. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area.”

“Akasaka is a great place to eat authentic Japanese food. It has an intimate and simple dining, which is expected of Japanese culture. Every item on the menu is good and comes with all the expected condiments specific for that dish.
The wait times can be long so make reservations and make sure your whole party is present.
Overall, a good dining experience.”

“This hiden gem is offers flavofull dishes. My family are very picky and they 100% approved it. The garlic stirfry pea shoots came out perfect and reminded me of Ding Tai Fung. The fry chicken wings is another winner.”

“This place was referred to me by a co-worker, since I don’t know the area very well. What a great referral the pizza is like you build it how you want, but with an old skool pizzeria. It isn’t like Pieology. They have canned soda drinks, or two liter bottle soda, no alcohol. Vito the guy who made my pizza to perfection was telling me they have a really good Sunday BBQ from ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, etc. They are only open in the evening hours, and the pizza is good size portion. Their small is the size of most mediums at other places. I highly recommend this place. A little more in price, but well worth the fresh ingredients and they won’t take tips.”

“This restaurant is like walking into a greenhouse. So pretty, cut flowers for purchase, greenery on the walls, a little gift shop and fairy lights.
The food was good and they had specialty drinks. So 😋 yummy. It was quiet and comfy.”

“I went to this restaurant with couple of really picky eaters who like good ingredients and clean preparation of the dishes. The restaurant itself is good enough. The flavors, cooking and ingredients are outstanding. Will be going back. Their menu is extensive, plenty of take out orders. Don't go there if your Chinese food preferences are lined up with Panda Express. Nothing wrong with Panda.. I go there from time to time. This place is not that.”

“sushiland is truly a hidden gem in hacienda heights. I come here almost weekly with my girlfriend and I never had something we didn’t like. The scallop roll, scallop sushi, and wagyu sushi are absolutely amazing. Toro is always fresh and the beers are cold and cheap. We are always met with a smile by the employees and truly feel the good energy in the restaurant as well as the food we are served. Beyond thankful this is a 2 minute drive I urge anyone in LP or HH to give this place a shot- i’ve eaten at about every sushi place in Hacienda Heights and this one is clearly the best.

“My family visit this place at least once a month, and it consistently delivers an incredible meal. If you are looking for dishes that step outside the usual mainstream options, this is the spot.

My 3 yr old son absolutely devours everything we put in front of him here, but crispy noodles are without a doubt his favorite.

“I tried this pho when they soft open. Pho was good, best in the area meaning Rowland and Hacienda heights. Our Viet food here in 91745 is medicare at best, until Phoholic opened and Arrived here. You know when Pho good when you walk into the business and come out smell like pho production lol!. Anyways the pho is very good but not the best. They can tone down on the sweetness a Bit too sweet for me. I think will try again when thing cool down in Cali, they need to tone down on the sweetness and I def give them a 5 Star for now its 4 four star. great quality noodles and meat just pho too sweet. Great workers, very nice and sweet!!! Pho use to be poor man's food now it a luxury sad days now.”

“After we moved in hacienda heights 7 years ago, we wanted to find food near us but we didn't have a car at that time, so we found this taco and burrito place near us and we tried it, my wife and kids and I loved it, and sometimes almost every Thursday, after school my son gets off the bus and wants to go straight to the los frijolitos, he loves it so much that he wishes it would be in ever other location, My older daughter drives us to our old local pool and we passed by it, We hope we will see you again soon We love your tacos and burritos. ❤

“There is a wide selection of bread, there's authentic pan dulce and the lines are short most of the time. Mostly everything is cheap and they also have drinks like milk, soda, etc to buy.”

“Banh-mi’s are $6.50 each and buy two get one free!! I was really pleased to find a vegetarian ham option. The bread was soooo fresh and tasty!! The grab-and-go rice plates are hearty, flavorful and only $8. Pandan cake (I think it’s gluten-free) was not too sweet and the perfect end to the meal”

“Soccer themed coffee shop! I had to go see it! The decor was simple not sure I see much soccer decor. They do have a medium sized TV that’s always playing soccer matches. The seating area is amazing! I love the comfiness of the chairs and tables! They have a variety of specialty drinks. Their syrups are made in house and to me that’s a big plus! My husband ordered the vanilla bean latte, hot. I ordered the honey lavender hot latte…both were absolutely delicious!!! Whenever I’m in the area, I can see myself stopping by again!”

“Literally blown away by the authenticity of the Guilin rice noodles. Portions are big and very very authentic, you get 螺蛳 (snail) and 锅烧 (crispy pork). I also liked how the vibe of the restaurant was super chill and relaxing. No one is rushing you to order or pay, really enjoyed our time here.”

Their homemade horchata and Spanish latte are some of the best I’ve ever had 😋. And don’t miss the 99¢ tacos — they’re packed with flavor and such a great deal!”

“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.

The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.

In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.”

“First time trying this restaurant we got the yuzu sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. My yuzu the chicken was only half the sandwich a small tender. Its missing some cheese flavor is good. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok alot of seasoning dry rub. The best was the curly fries super delicious and crispy. I also didn’t appreciate my side of ranch half filled and i paid for it. Drink were good. No customer service self order options. Restrooms could be cleaner. Location is nice.”

“First time there. A nice experience. Popular place. Was busy when we arrived n waited a few minutes to get seated. But the food was delicious. We ordered Kung Paola chicken, steamed rice, pepper steak cubes, fried fish woth seaweed.
Kung Pao was good n spicy, steak was tender n tasty, fish was light n cooked well. Jasmine tea was great also. Service was good n prompt.”
