“I have come here multiple times, and I really love their iron shovel chicken cartilage and stewed chicken with mushrooms in an iron pot. I also recommend their baked cornbread. It is made fresh on the spot and tastes really good.

“This place was referred to me by a co-worker, since I don’t know the area very well. What a great referral the pizza is like you build it how you want, but with an old skool pizzeria. It isn’t like Pieology. They have canned soda drinks, or two liter bottle soda, no alcohol. Vito the guy who made my pizza to perfection was telling me they have a really good Sunday BBQ from ribs, Tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, etc. They are only open in the evening hours, and the pizza is good size portion. Their small is the size of most mediums at other places. I highly recommend this place. A little more in price, but well worth the fresh ingredients and they won’t take tips.”

“Me and a group of 8 members chose to go to this hidden Cantonese cuisine for dinner tonight. We bought one large lobster about 4.7 pounds and two Dungeness crab about 4 pounds to 加工。The lobster and crab were perfectly prepared. We were also able to taste the freshness. We also ordered beef tendon, chicken salad, on choy, etc. the best part was the steam egg. The dessert was the best. Definitely recommend this place for Cantonese food.”

“sushiland is truly a hidden gem in hacienda heights. I come here almost weekly with my girlfriend and I never had something we didn’t like. The scallop roll, scallop sushi, and wagyu sushi are absolutely amazing. Toro is always fresh and the beers are cold and cheap. We are always met with a smile by the employees and truly feel the good energy in the restaurant as well as the food we are served. Beyond thankful this is a 2 minute drive I urge anyone in LP or HH to give this place a shot- i’ve eaten at about every sushi place in Hacienda Heights and this one is clearly the best.

Their sweet bread are great a big variety to choose from. They open at 5am you won't be sorry if you stopped by and bought some thing to have with your coffee in the morning.”

“Local Hit! Authentic flavors and a huge menu with pictures. It makes it really difficult to make a selection since it all looks so good. We usually visit once a week but this week we have been here twice. My husband loves the Tacos Dorados. They are filled with tender and flavorful shredded beef. The menudo and pozole on weekends is good and the chorizo con huevo is my favorite. The little dining area is kept clean and the salsa bar is kept cold.”

“First time trying this restaurant we got the yuzu sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. My yuzu the chicken was only half the sandwich a small tender. Its missing some cheese flavor is good. The spicy chicken sandwich was ok alot of seasoning dry rub. The best was the curly fries super delicious and crispy. I also didn’t appreciate my side of ranch half filled and i paid for it. Drink were good. No customer service self order options. Restrooms could be cleaner. Location is nice.”

“We are lucky that if you dine during the lunch time, the rice is free. Or else you need to order the rice separately. The rice portion is big, however, one of the rice bowl contains the VERY BOTTOM of the rice pot. (See my picture). I don't think that is the right and professional way to serve a customer with that portion of the rice. Therefore, that deducts a star for this restaurant.

The service is good and the atmosphere is standard.

In conclusion, the prices for this restaurant are a bit high in my opinion. I will ONLY come back if the 20% off discount continues.”

Ordered the congee w/fried noodles and a western style chicken steak plate w/pineapple bun along with their signature HK style milk tea which came out in a flash. “We stumbled upon this spot for ramen and were pleasantly surprised! The portions are great. They give you plenty of broth, and the ramen itself is really tasty. We shared the ramen and some takoyaki (which were decent), and it was more than enough for the two of us. It’s definitely tucked away in the middle of nowhere, so you really have to be looking for it to find it, but it's worth the trip if you’re craving a good bowl! 😅”
