“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“
“A popular ice cream store. It has been years since my last visit but decided to come here with my family. There was few parking spaces available at that time but all the tables were taken except two two person tables. After our order, we were glad to come back here as we loved ice cream. I ordered butter pecan but it was more like vanilla with pecan. By the time we finished, many more people poured into the store, possibly back from holiday light tour like us. When we saw this shop while walking around downtown Fullerton, it was hard to resist a treat, and some of that nice custard. They have a fun menu with interesting items like their "j latti" which is shaved ice with soft serve ice cream; it's great. They also have traditional stuff like sundaes, banana splits, and even milkshakes. It's family owned and the owners are cordial. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. My only gripe is that it's a little bit run down and there are only a few benches outside which aren't very well kept. It's still cozy enough especially in the evening.“

“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“

“Location and Parking: My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting La Michoacana Ice Cream University, a Mexican ice cream shop. We were looking for snacks to take out for the movies and we were craving some esquites. And so I quickly searched one up and found this place. This is located in a plaza and they're right across from the Azusa Pacific University. And now I know why they named the shop as such. Finding parking is really easy, I had no trouble finding parking although it was at night. But I'm pretty sure during the day you can easily find parking there.Food Selection: We ordered two small esquites – for the uninitiated, esquites are Mexican snacks made with corn kernels, similar to elote but served warm in disposable cups, minus the cob. We also ordered a fruit bowl topped with chamoy and tajin. While everything was delicious, the standout was definitely the fruit bowl, with the chamoy and tajin. It was flavorful and filling. (I will attach pictures of the food for reference.)Ambiance: Stepping inside, the shop was very clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I noticed in the front of the shop that they have free Wi-Fi but it was password protected. So I'm assuming that you need to ask one of the staff for the password if you want to study there for a while.Staff and Service: Though I didn't catch our server/cashier's name, he was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I really like the fact that before handling the food, he washed his hands before attending to us– a small yet crucial detail that deserves commendation.Recommendation: I highly recommend La Michoacana Ice Cream University for anyone seeking some delicious Mexican snacks and ice cream! As a first-timer at a La Michoacana establishment, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the experience. Podong is a uniquely Korean inspired boba shop with some of the most interesting drink concoctions. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots and you can find it next to the Gold's gym. Once you walk in, you'll be greeted by a modern nostalgic street style type of interior. They do a great job of juxtaposing nostalgic and retro themes with modern and streetwear ones. As for their drinks, they have such a variety to choose from. Wifey and I opted for the Korean pear slush and the injeolmi slush and both were super refreshing with flavors uniquely Korean. The staff here are awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try their other drinks next time we're in the area!“
“Where to begin with how amazing this popcorn is? Ever since I was a kid, there's something so nostalgic about going to the mall and getting popcorn. Not many malls have popcorn stalls, let alone have delicious one of a kind popcorn flavors. Doc pop is the spot for your popcorn cravings at mall visits as well as catering for your party events. I recently worked with Tamer the Doc Pop genius at Doc Popcorn to purchase enough popcorn for my daughter's Disney birthday. Thinking three large bags would be enough for 100 guests (1 large bag = 20 people; 3 large bags for 60 people), we overestimated the amount of popcorn people would eat/take at the party. NOT A PROBLEM. We ended up eating the leftovers (still was fresh after a week) and taking some to work to share with colleagues. Everyone agreed the flavor and the freshness of the popcorn was great. If you're thinking of popcorn for a party, do yourself a favor, check out Doc Popcorn (they have lots of delicious flavors). Tamer was very knowledgeable, helpful and has we wonderful customer service. My advice: Prep yourself for a night of packing small bags use a funnel or a scooper (trust the process, the end product will be worth it). The closer you get your popcorn to the day of your party, the more delicious your popcorn will be. For reference: 2 large bags of popcorn filled 100 5inch x 10.8inch bags (we barely had to use the third large bag of popcorn towards the end).“

Their original coffee buns when baked fresh are semi-sweet with a light coffee flavor and savory buttery taste on the inside. This place also has korean shaved ice and good ol' pineapple dole whip as well as a few other soft serve iced cream flavors to spice up the variety. I haven't had any of the coffee yet, but I will one day.“
