“Best ice cream shop I have ever been to by far. Perfect place to finish up a nice out in Covina, or just to go to in general.
Dietary restrictions: Has keto and dairy free (using coconut cream and/or oat milk) ice cream, ice cream with alcohol infused has a low ABV so it's consider non alcoholic (you can definitely still taste the alcohol)
Parking: Street parking right in front and down the street, large parking lots about a block and 2 blocks south“

“I love eating fresh taiyaki that's hot off the pan! It does take a few minutes for them to make the taiyaki, but it's totally worth it. We ordered custard, Nutella, and red bean. They neatly labeled the flavors on the box so that you know which one is which.
There's some bar seating inside and a small table outside that can seat 4.

“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! “Best place I have ever gone too! The ice cream is delicious with many toppings that add to the impression and appearance of it. The quality of the ice cream rolls are much better than those of other places, and while it does take around 20 minutes to get your ice cream, it is completley worth it. This is one of the places I always show to people who our visiting the city :)“

“This ice cream shop is a pop-up (probably permanent pop-up) in The Shops at Santa Anita. I loved the free sample they offered! The server is so generous in offering the samples. The croffle is the best we’ve had for a long time, warm and so yummy. I especially enjoyed the matcha and hojicha, both made with ceremonial-grade tea. The ice cream did not disappoint me either. Totally recommend for sugar craves!“

Parking: My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting La Michoacana Ice Cream University, a Mexican ice cream shop. We were looking for snacks to take out for the movies and we were craving some esquites. And so I quickly searched one up and found this place. This is located in a plaza and they're right across from the Azusa Pacific University. And now I know why they named the shop as such. Finding parking is really easy, I had no trouble finding parking although it was at night. But I'm pretty sure during the day you can easily find parking there.Food Selection: We ordered two small esquites – for the uninitiated, esquites are Mexican snacks made with corn kernels, similar to elote but served warm in disposable cups, minus the cob. We also ordered a fruit bowl topped with chamoy and tajin. While everything was delicious, the standout was definitely the fruit bowl, with the chamoy and tajin. It was flavorful and filling. (I will attach pictures of the food for reference.)Ambiance: Stepping inside, the shop was very clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I noticed in the front of the shop that they have free Wi-Fi but it was password protected. So I'm assuming that you need to ask one of the staff for the password if you want to study there for a while.Staff and Service: Though I didn't catch our server/cashier's name, he was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I really like the fact that before handling the food, he washed his hands before attending to us– a small yet crucial detail that deserves commendation.Recommendation: I highly recommend La Michoacana Ice Cream University for anyone seeking some delicious Mexican snacks and ice cream! As a first-timer at a La Michoacana establishment, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the experience. I'm eager to return and continue supporting this small business.Date and Time of Visit: November 2023 on a Sunday.

“Been waiting for this place to finally open! Ice cream was delicious. I tried chocolate chip and rocky road in a waffle cone. There are many different options to choose from. “Italian ice was colorful and refreshing with just the right amount of soft serve to ice ratio. Just when I was running out of soft serve I found more at the bottom lolSundae was perfect amount of chocolate and whipped cream. Banana milkshake has fresh bananas combined with thick, creamy ice cream. Overall, a delight!“

“The cookies are always great. The employees sometimes stand around and ignore customers that need help using the touchscreen order pad. I have witnessed older people walk in, not know how to use the touch screen device, and employees just watch them struggle. Other than that everything is great.“

“Well my wife likes to try this ice cream place. So we went there with our daughters. Location: it is in the corner of a gas station and a car wash. I thought I was lost! Yep it is in a corner. Hard to find parking because the car wash takes all the parking. My daughters love it: passion fruit ice cream. It is a hidden gem, my wife said!

“They have a deal on Mondays and Tuesdays ($10 for a torta and a canned drink) that my coworkers and I always take advantage of. The ingredients in the tortas always taste fresha and the torta itself is filling and delicious. The couple that run this place are always kind and provide quick and efficient service. “Excellent customer service has a variety of options to be honest I was skeptical at first but once I came in I realized it was super clean and they were really nice to me and they have options that a lot of stores around here don't have for example I was looking for one of those fruit stand guys and I didn't find any today because the last time I went to one this guy had no mask I don't think he washed his hands it looks really non-hygienic and it was kind of expensive here it was cheaper than that guy and they were very hygienic and it was such a nice story to come to I would recommend it to everybody around here“

“It's In n Out. What more is there to say? It's the closest location to my place. I guess they could cook their fries a bit better. But as always. Great food quality. The only downside to this location is that the parking suck, and when it gets busy. Forget getting in. The lot is so small that the car line to get in is ridiculously long and sometimes blocks traffic.“
