“I tried this pho when they soft open. Pho was good, best in the area meaning Rowland and Hacienda heights. Our Viet food here in 91745 is medicare at best, until Phoholic opened and Arrived here. You know when Pho good when you walk into the business and come out smell like pho production lol!. Anyways the pho is very good but not the best. They can tone down on the sweetness a Bit too sweet for me. I think will try again when thing cool down in Cali, they need to tone down on the sweetness and I def give them a 5 Star for now its 4 four star. great quality noodles and meat just pho too sweet. Great workers, very nice and sweet!!! Pho use to be poor man's food now it a luxury sad days now.“

“Banh-mi’s are $6.50 each and buy two get one free!! I was really pleased to find a vegetarian ham option. The bread was soooo fresh and tasty!! The grab-and-go rice plates are hearty, flavorful and only $8. Pandan cake (I think it’s gluten-free) was not too sweet and the perfect end to the meal“

“Being a Pho connoisseur I had high expectations and this place reached them and then more. The pho was clean, rich, and tasted like it was medicine for the soul. A shout-out to the beef noodles which was also excellent. The food here is great and not over the top expensive either. Every time I am back in the area I will try my best to visit again. “I’m guessing this restaurant is a Vietnamese fusion.
Chicken pho - solid.
Prawn vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. The prawns were a bit overcooked so hard to peel but seasoned perfectly and huge! I didn’t enjoy my noodles as much as the prawns because I’m not a fan of this restaurant’s fish sauce. It’s lacking complexity… a bit of sugar and acid in their fish sauce would improve this dish tremendously.
House wontons - solid. Delicious on its own. Well seasoned so it doesn’t even need the sweet chili sauce that in came with In my opinion .
Eggrolls - meh. They smelled strongly of fish sauce. I would skip it if you didn’t grow up eating fish sauce; it stunk! What’s worse is the sauce that came with it is fish sauce too! I grew up eating egg rolls seasoned with salt to taste without a dipping sauce so this recipe is new to me.
Kumquat tea - it’s kumquat syrup so it tasted weird and overpowered the jasmine tea. I mainly tasted lemonade and the kumquat syrup. I should have asked if the tea was made from fresh squeezed kumquat juice, silly me… 🤦🏽‍♀️ skip this!
Fast service. Fried food arrives HOT so let it cool down first!
I will return to try their Lomo Saltado, pasta or, fried rice dishes.“

“The banh xeo is top notch here. Both the shrimp and fish ones are great! It's so crispy and comes with lots of fresh veggies. Its even crispy and perfect when I get take out! A little pricey but it's a good portion. There is a $1 credit card fee so bring cash. I love this place so much, if only they opened for dinner!“

“On our way home, we stopped by this restaurant to enjoy some delicious pho, and we definitely made the right choice! The pho was absolutely delicious. I ordered mine with beef ribs, and they were amazing — very tender and perfectly cooked. There was also a generous amount of tendon and tripe, which I really appreciated.

Everything tasted very fresh, and they served plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs on the side. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you so much for the delicious food!“

“Hidden gem closed to home. Rare to find great tasting pho closed to home and big in portion.

Throughout the years many pho places give very little and tiny portions, but Tasty Pho reminds me of the good size pho bowls one used to get back in the day. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their stuff attentive to your needs.

The broken rice is very complete with the egg quiche, shrimp paste and radish carrot salad for a very good price. No need to go to Little Saigon anymore to eat great Vietnamese food“

“My favorite banh mi ! If you're near the west Covina/Azusa area. It's a must try. The shop is a mom and pop shop with authentic pho. During lunch make sure you can find a seat cause it gets popping! And if you're there for breakfast you've got to try their huge egg tarts and Vietnamese coffee. It's not for the weak ! So strong and sweet. You for you vegetarians you've got to try the veggie banh mi. Adorable and filling 😋“

“Not the best aesthetically but the food was fire! Which is always the case when you see an ethnic restaurant crowded with said ethnicity. I believe my wife and I we're the only non-Asians there. Even a monk was there eating with a group, confirming their adherence to non-animal product. You can see him smiling enjoying himself in my picture of the storefront. The pictures of the food don't look great either, but it was all AMAZING and full of flavor and deliciousness! I was literally feeling happiness while eating. LOL We loved the fried fish with ginger (ginger sauce in a side bowl so good make you slap your mama and kick an infant), lemongrass chicken, and the veggie fried rice in that order. But it was all so, so good. Also enjoyed the lemon soda. Was a bit too much sugar but I think it was intentional, as you have to continue to add Pellegrino water as you drink it down in the glass. And the food came with complimentary soup and a sweet corn dessert that was surprisingly delicious to me because I'm not a big fan of coconut milk, but it was in just the right proportion! Our server, younger with unique glasses, was really cool and friendly too. Not that often you get a eating experience that hits on every level like this. Can't wait to go back and try other items!“

“The broken rice here is certainly good. They have the KING com tam dish for $20.99. It’s a giant plate of broken rice with a variety of meats and some veggies. This is the dish to try when you are here.

Skip the bun bo hue. Unfortunately the noodles were stuck together and the meat was overcooked. I did try the cha gio appetizer $11.99 (egg rolls), and it was really good!

The server mistook me ordering “106” for “number 6”, so when the appetizer came out, I was confused what happened to the noodles. I think there is a major language barrier here because we had to repeat ourselves 2-3 times, like asking for water or a Togo box, etc.

I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. Good thing it was a cheap lunch.“

“When I first arrived to this restaurant, I didn’t see any other diners and was quite hesitant. But soon enough they proved my ‘pre-thoughts’ wrong.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“I have my personal preference in taste as anyone else would.
It didn’t completely match what Im used to but I won’t ever put that against anyone.
It was delicious, boiling out of the pot- just how I like it.
Noodles were a bit more chewy than I prefer
Service: Only that I needed to flag someone down if I wanted something other than water. But still better than most places.
It was slow but the inside is very warm and welcoming.

“Came Thursday 9:30 pm, surprised to find the music bumping like a night club! Nice to find Vietnamese food late around here. Decor is fun too. Cool watching the videos of vendor streets in Saigon.

Enjoyed the Bun bo hue, tasty & fresh. I asked to leave out the blood cube. I was very impressed with how nice the young server was, he was very helpful & suggested that if I didn't want the pork hock pig's feet either, they could give the higher up part instead, which was very tasty. I am mostly vegetarian but had to appreciate the generous tender meat that was in this dish. He even heated my soup back up later once it got cold. The passion fruit tea was also tasty. They have lots of other specialties on the menu.

Be warned tho - later at night they play the music pretty loud -- if you're there to party, good -- but just for a dinner it was kind of a lot... When I left my ears were still ringing. I watched my server talk to a customer - both young guys - and they had to bend close to each other to hear, like old people. They should give their servers loop earplugs because they're honestly going to lose their hearing working there! Or lower the music a bit? I liked the food, but think I'll stick to day time visits & keep my hearing! 🧘🏻‍♂️🍜“

“Pho Filet 2 is a solid Vietnamese spot in the San Gabriel Valley if you’re craving a comforting bowl of pho. The restaurant has a casual, no-frills atmosphere where locals come for quick and satisfying meals.

I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.

I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.

Service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly even when the restaurant was busy. Overall, Pho Filet 2 is a great casual spot for authentic Vietnamese comfort food.“

“It is a small cozy place operated a nice husband and wife couple. I normally not a fan of banh cuon, but I have to admit this is one of the best banh cuon I've ever had. We also ordered bun nuoc leo( fermented fish rice noodles soup), it came out steaming hot and fresh. It was worth the wait. Good food can't be rushed so come with an open mind that you will have to wait a long minute. I will tell y'all its worth that minute wait.“

“Found this hidden pho spot in Pico Rivera and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a small restaurant but very clean with a fresh, modern vibe and trendy music. Everything looks new, which made the experience even better.

The server was attentive at the start, though he didn’t come back to check if we needed additional refills. The dumplings were on the smaller side and a bit pricey, but they were packed with flavor and definitely worth trying. The pho itself was hot, delicious, and very satisfying.

“Been coming here since high school and my favorite dishes are their bun Rieu (tomato crab and pork meat ball soup) - the best because they use CRAB and not shrimp. That to me makes a big difference

Their eggrolls are huge and packed with crab and pork too. Passionfruit tea refillable.

Bun Bo hue with either classic bun noodles or pho noodles is a great dish too.“

Food is amazing and menu items are more than the basic pho soup and rice dishes. Try the bone marrow, the spicy fish, or the filet mignon with egg noodles! Damned delicious. Staff is also very nice.“

“I love the two Summer Rolls locations in Temple City already and this one adds another dimension to their restaurants. The first one is traditional, well the second one has a bar and a cool vibe, and this one feels a little bit more elevated. I think the location is also good simply because it's near the mission district area. “The food never fails. The Pho is done right and we always order the 2 rib bone soup which is simmered for 4 hours. But with this visit, we tried the oxtail soup which was simmered for 10 hours. We always get the garlic fries. We also ordered crispy chicken in medium heat and chicken wings in the garlic parmesan flavor. All good and it didn’t disappoint at all. This place is open til 1:30am, this is our go to late night eats which doesn’t happen too often. This place is cute with a potted tree in the middle and decorated well. The evening we were there, we weren’t only ones eating, the mosquitos were eating us, the reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 star. Aside from that, this place is a go-to. There’s always a line.“
