“Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.

Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.

Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!

The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.

I recommend trying out this restaurant.

“I’m guessing this restaurant is a Vietnamese fusion.
Chicken pho - solid.
Prawn vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. The prawns were a bit overcooked so hard to peel but seasoned perfectly and huge! I didn’t enjoy my noodles as much as the prawns because I’m not a fan of this restaurant’s fish sauce. It’s lacking complexity… a bit of sugar and acid in their fish sauce would improve this dish tremendously.
House wontons - solid. Delicious on its own. Well seasoned so it doesn’t even need the sweet chili sauce that in came with In my opinion .
Eggrolls - meh. They smelled strongly of fish sauce. I would skip it if you didn’t grow up eating fish sauce; it stunk! What’s worse is the sauce that came with it is fish sauce too! I grew up eating egg rolls seasoned with salt to taste without a dipping sauce so this recipe is new to me.
Kumquat tea - it’s kumquat syrup so it tasted weird and overpowered the jasmine tea. I mainly tasted lemonade and the kumquat syrup. I should have asked if the tea was made from fresh squeezed kumquat juice, silly me… 🤦🏽‍♀️ skip this!
Fast service. Fried food arrives HOT so let it cool down first!
I will return to try their Lomo Saltado, pasta or, fried rice dishes.“

“Almost gave up on trying to like Pho, but this place just made me realize all the other places I’ve been too were simply mediocre. I got the brisket pho and it was AMAZING. My wife also tried the Shrimp with Vegan broth (she’s pescatarian) and also loved hers.

Environment was great too, very friendly staff and a very clean location. 10/10

“Excellent Pho noodle soup near Knotts Berry Farm. Note: no more stir fried noodle on the menu. I ordered the beef noodle soup and beef tendon pho. Excellent variety of beef tripe, beef ball, tendon, and brisket. Friendly counter service for takeout and good portion size.“

“My first time here, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The rare beef pho was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth and tender beef that melted in my mouth.
What really stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made me feel right at home, checked in regularly, and were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally impressive.

I ordered the three roll special. I had the shrimp, pork sausage, and bulgogi beef. The shrimp roll was as expected, light, fresh, and tasty. The sausage was the best. It had the best flavor and really stood out. The beef was dry, okay flavor-wise, but oh so dry. Each roll had lettuce, shredded carrot, cilantro, cucumbers, mint, and garlic chives. These added crunch, texture, and a freshness that really was nice.

“Great Pho, hot and fresh every time. I like this spot because it's a quick in & out. They always have enough staff to make sure you're taken care of right away. Always consistent on quality and service. I wish they were open on Sunday's, and open a little later on Friday and Saturday nights. I'd probably eat here more often if they were.“

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. I almost never eat out, but I would if I lived near Soup Shop.“

“I have my personal preference in taste as anyone else would.
It didn’t completely match what Im used to but I won’t ever put that against anyone.
It was delicious, boiling out of the pot- just how I like it.
Noodles were a bit more chewy than I prefer
Service: Only that I needed to flag someone down if I wanted something other than water. But still better than most places.
It was slow but the inside is very warm and welcoming.

“This place has the best Pho and Lousiana Cajun seafood near Knott's Berry Farm.

Its located on Magnolia near La Palma Ave same center as Popeyes.

Its a mom and pop operation and the food seems home cooked.

Atmosphere is quiet and soothing with the sound of birds

The Lousiana seafood can be boiled which is a great healthier option. The fried seafood is savory.

You must try the Rib Cube beef Pho its super beefy.“

“Great hidden little joint! You can order take-out or sit at the bar/counter. We got the beef garlic noodles and special Vietnamese crepe. The garlic noodles had a proper amount of garlic and flavor. “This Vietnamese restaurant serves truly delicious Pho. The rich, deep broth is outstanding.
​I had the Round Steak Pho, and my wife had the Brisket Pho.
​In the past, the water didn't taste that great, but visiting this time, they added lime to it, which made it much better.
​I also love that they provide sliced onions for free. If you drizzle some Sriracha on them and mix them up, they make a fantastic side dish that pairs perfectly with the Pho.

“I ordered 2 different beef pho and an order of the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The meat and broth in the pho was so good and worth every penny. The tendon in my soup was so soft and yummy. The spring rolls were a bit of a disappointment as it was 90% garden salad mix straight out of the bag. 2 out of 3 of the spring rolls split open due to the over crowding of the salad. If the salad was tossed in a light sauce/vinegar, it would liven up the spring rolls so much.“

“The food at Pho Saigon was excellent and lived up to expectations. However, the atmosphere was somewhat loud and chaotic, which made the dining experience feel a bit rushed. Overall, great flavors but not ideal if you prefer a calm environment.“

“My husband and I tried Pho Mazing yesterday. We had Pho with Beef Rib and Pho Combo. The flavor of the soup was excellent and the noodles were chewy. We did not get thirsty afterward unlike some other Pho restaurants. We also tried the crispy egg rolls which were very tasteful. The carrot and the lettuce condiments were crunchy and fresh. We placed our online then came inside and waited for a few minutes. The Banh Mi sandwiches were absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the spam and eggs and the eggs were fresh and fluffy and cooked perfectly and the spam was grilled, the pickled vegetables were very fresh. “I went here earlier today, the server whose name was Kevin I believe was very quick and attentive. He make the service extremely quick and the experience very pleasent. The whole time me and my girlfriend were there, he was working incredibly hard and going back and forth between tasks. The overall experience was incredible and we will be coming back very soon!!!“

They’re family owned and operated and we’re also participating in the el monte toy drive so if you brought a toy you can get a free Thai tea. Everyone there was super sweet and they let me try their small pho ga and buon cuon to try. Even tho these were the small sizes, they were HUGE. The pho came with lots of both dark and white meat chicken. The broth was a bit on the bland end for me tho. Veggies were fresh and crunchy. The banh cuon was super silky smooth and had meat and onions inside. When you dipped it in the fish sauce it pretty much became a savory umami bomb in your mouth. Stuff here is pretty light on flavor and kinda bland for me. Didn’t really feel like I ate anything after eating here. Personally for me an eugh. But portions are huge, prices are really good, people are really sweet and my grandma really liked it.“
