Parking is a bit challenge during dining session. MUST TRY Egg roll …outer is crunchy but the inner stuffed ingredients taste a bit different from the other place. I wish my tongue can tell me what’s the secret receipt inside :p Popular choice other than PHO #17 Banh Canh Toma Cua Vietnam style Udon noodle soup is very special ! If you like bit chewy style Inside the soup are pork leg & Shredded crab and shrimp balls! #34 Griled pork & shrimp Vermicelli Grilled pork stay smokey and tender taste .they did the great job to control the heat They offers some interesting choices on the menus . I need to explore it again and check in here later !!“

“Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.

Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.

Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!

The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.

I recommend trying out this restaurant.

“I’m guessing this restaurant is a Vietnamese fusion.
Chicken pho - solid.
Prawn vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. The prawns were a bit overcooked so hard to peel but seasoned perfectly and huge! I didn’t enjoy my noodles as much as the prawns because I’m not a fan of this restaurant’s fish sauce. It’s lacking complexity… a bit of sugar and acid in their fish sauce would improve this dish tremendously.
House wontons - solid. Delicious on its own. Well seasoned so it doesn’t even need the sweet chili sauce that in came with In my opinion .
Eggrolls - meh. They smelled strongly of fish sauce. I would skip it if you didn’t grow up eating fish sauce; it stunk! What’s worse is the sauce that came with it is fish sauce too! I grew up eating egg rolls seasoned with salt to taste without a dipping sauce so this recipe is new to me.
Kumquat tea - it’s kumquat syrup so it tasted weird and overpowered the jasmine tea. I mainly tasted lemonade and the kumquat syrup. I should have asked if the tea was made from fresh squeezed kumquat juice, silly me… 🤦🏽‍♀️ skip this!
Fast service. Fried food arrives HOT so let it cool down first!
I will return to try their Lomo Saltado, pasta or, fried rice dishes.“

“Always had a nice experience here and their XL bowls are huge! Last time I came was 20-30mins before they were closing and they still sat me. Very nice people. The peanut sauce they serve with the spring rolls is very good and thick. Even though this Pho spot is far from me I still go out of my way to come here.“

“My first time here, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The rare beef pho was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth and tender beef that melted in my mouth.
What really stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The staff made me feel right at home, checked in regularly, and were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally impressive.

“My favorite banh mi ! If you're near the west Covina/Azusa area. It's a must try. The shop is a mom and pop shop with authentic pho. During lunch make sure you can find a seat cause it gets popping! And if you're there for breakfast you've got to try their huge egg tarts and Vietnamese coffee. It's not for the weak ! So strong and sweet. You for you vegetarians you've got to try the veggie banh mi. Adorable and filling 😋“

“Great Pho, hot and fresh every time. I like this spot because it's a quick in & out. They always have enough staff to make sure you're taken care of right away. Always consistent on quality and service. I wish they were open on Sunday's, and open a little later on Friday and Saturday nights. I'd probably eat here more often if they were.“

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. I almost never eat out, but I would if I lived near Soup Shop.“

“I have my personal preference in taste as anyone else would.
It didn’t completely match what Im used to but I won’t ever put that against anyone.
It was delicious, boiling out of the pot- just how I like it.
Noodles were a bit more chewy than I prefer
Service: Only that I needed to flag someone down if I wanted something other than water. But still better than most places.
It was slow but the inside is very warm and welcoming.
I ordered the fried wontons-15/10

“This place has the best Pho and Lousiana Cajun seafood near Knott's Berry Farm.

Its located on Magnolia near La Palma Ave same center as Popeyes.

Its a mom and pop operation and the food seems home cooked.

Atmosphere is quiet and soothing with the sound of birds

The Lousiana seafood can be boiled which is a great healthier option. The fried seafood is savory.

You must try the Rib Cube beef Pho its super beefy.“

“Great hidden little joint! You can order take-out or sit at the bar/counter. We got the beef garlic noodles and special Vietnamese crepe. The garlic noodles had a proper amount of garlic and flavor. “I tried this pho when they soft open. Pho was good, best in the area meaning Rowland and Hacienda heights. Our Viet food here in 91745 is medicare at best, until Phoholic opened and Arrived here. You know when Pho good when you walk into the business and come out smell like pho production lol!. Anyways the pho is very good but not the best. They can tone down on the sweetness a Bit too sweet for me. I think will try again when thing cool down in Cali, they need to tone down on the sweetness and I def give them a 5 Star for now its 4 four star. great quality noodles and meat just pho too sweet. Great workers, very nice and sweet!!! Pho use to be poor man's food now it a luxury sad days now.“

“Tons of vegan options, tasty Vietnamese fare, and the kind of authentic experience you want.

Not to mention, the prices are fantastic, especially for LA. While we didn’t love every dish we ordered (learned we didn’t like the ‘gravy’ dishes very much), and it hasn’t replaced our other favorite options in Whittier and Van Nuys, still a good spot.

“My husband and I tried Pho Mazing yesterday. We had Pho with Beef Rib and Pho Combo. The flavor of the soup was excellent and the noodles were chewy. We did not get thirsty afterward unlike some other Pho restaurants. We also tried the crispy egg rolls which were very tasteful. The carrot and the lettuce condiments were crunchy and fresh. “This Vietnamese restaurant serves truly delicious Pho. The rich, deep broth is outstanding.
​I had the Round Steak Pho, and my wife had the Brisket Pho.
​In the past, the water didn't taste that great, but visiting this time, they added lime to it, which made it much better.
​I also love that they provide sliced onions for free. If you drizzle some Sriracha on them and mix them up, they make a fantastic side dish that pairs perfectly with the Pho.

“I ordered 2 different beef pho and an order of the pork and shrimp spring rolls. The meat and broth in the pho was so good and worth every penny. The tendon in my soup was so soft and yummy. The spring rolls were a bit of a disappointment as it was 90% garden salad mix straight out of the bag. 2 out of 3 of the spring rolls split open due to the over crowding of the salad. If the salad was tossed in a light sauce/vinegar, it would liven up the spring rolls so much.“

We placed our online then came inside and waited for a few minutes. The Banh Mi sandwiches were absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the spam and eggs and the eggs were fresh and fluffy and cooked perfectly and the spam was grilled, the pickled vegetables were very fresh. I ordered the crispy pork belly sandwich and the pork belly was hot and crispy and plentiful. The bread was fresh and lightly toasted. It was all very good! We'd definitely recommend this place!“

They’re family owned and operated and we’re also participating in the el monte toy drive so if you brought a toy you can get a free Thai tea. Everyone there was super sweet and they let me try their small pho ga and buon cuon to try. Even tho these were the small sizes, they were HUGE. The pho came with lots of both dark and white meat chicken. The broth was a bit on the bland end for me tho. Veggies were fresh and crunchy. The banh cuon was super silky smooth and had meat and onions inside. When you dipped it in the fish sauce it pretty much became a savory umami bomb in your mouth. Stuff here is pretty light on flavor and kinda bland for me. Didn’t really feel like I ate anything after eating here. Personally for me an eugh. But portions are huge, prices are really good, people are really sweet and my grandma really liked it.“
