They've seen me so many times over the years that they recognize my face and already know what I usually order.

This will always be our family's go-to spot for pho.

A couple of tips:

- Cash only, so come prepared.
- If you order pho to go, ask for the noodles raw. At home, cook them in boiling water for about 3 minutes before adding them to the broth. They'll taste just as fresh as if you were dining in.

“My favorite banh mi ! If you're near the west Covina/Azusa area. It's a must try. The shop is a mom and pop shop with authentic pho. During lunch make sure you can find a seat cause it gets popping! It didn’t completely match what Im used to but I won’t ever put that against anyone.
It was delicious, boiling out of the pot- just how I like it.
Noodles were a bit more chewy than I prefer
Service: Only that I needed to flag someone down if I wanted something other than water. But still better than most places.
It was slow but the inside is very warm and welcoming.

“Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.

Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.

Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.

“Found this hidden pho spot in Pico Rivera and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a small restaurant but very clean with a fresh, modern vibe and trendy music. Everything looks new, which made the experience even better.

I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.

I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.

“Very popular Vietnamese restaurant. We got there about 11 am on a Friday and it was almost full. 10 min later the people had to sign up on the waitlist. The size of the pho noodles is huge. The flavor of the broth was good. They charge 3% more if paid by credit card.“

“I tried this pho when they soft open. Pho was good, best in the area meaning Rowland and Hacienda heights. Our Viet food here in 91745 is medicare at best, until Phoholic opened and Arrived here. You know when Pho good when you walk into the business and come out smell like pho production lol!. Anyways the pho is very good but not the best. They can tone down on the sweetness a Bit too sweet for me. I think will try again when thing cool down in Cali, they need to tone down on the sweetness and I def give them a 5 Star for now its 4 four star. great quality noodles and meat just pho too sweet. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite.
