“Slow to get started but outstanding service. I was surprised that the first page was all about Cajun food, so I got the first item there, giving up any idea of the fish cake. So glad I did because that was also some very tasty and spicy fresh shrimp. I also got the number 12, pho thin-sliced beef and tendon with extra tendon. I threw some of the extra tendon in the Cajun butter sauce and then asked the server for a piece of bread to sop up the sauce. It was very tasty and satisfying. They topped up my pho with piping hot fragrant broth and I got an iced black robusto to go.“

“Definitely one of the best places to get banh xeo in this area
-fast service, nice waiters who know English and Viet
-lots of herbs and salad, which is a must for this dish
-super crunchy! You can hear it in every bite. This is a result of using more oil, which can be felt in some bites, but overall very good
-fair prices, though it may feel a bit steep at $17 per plate
-the restaurant itself has a nice homey feeling
Would definitely go again!“

“Small local spot that, I believe, has been here for decades. Our go-to banh mi place. They have good coffee too and some dessert items. Plus a handful of grocery items and refrigerated items too. Just be prepared to wait on weekends.
Parking: Sizeable parking lot that. I think there has always been parking, but it is shared with other businesses. Worst case there is street parking too.
Wheelchair accessibility: The store is level with the parking lot luckily“

“The beef pho is incredibly flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and tender meat. It was a very enjoyable dining experience. But because of this, be prepared to wait in line even if you’re getting your lunch at 2pm lol. It wasn’t a long wait today since I only waited for about fifteen minutes. It’s definitely worth it“

“I had the pleasure of dining in at Montebello Pho and Sandwich, and it was an experience to remember. We ordered the chicken fried rice and the spring rolls with peanut sauce, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. A special highlight was when the chef came out to check on us and see how we were enjoying our meal. It’s rare to see such a personal touch, and it really added to the overall experience.
To top it off, they treated us to a sample of a new green sauce they’re experimenting with. It was a delightful surprise and paired perfectly with our food.
We’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for great food with a welcoming atmosphere, Montebello Pho and Sandwich is a must-visit.“

“This place is nice and spacious, service was good. The Pho has good flavor. The wonton noodle soup was okay, but not sure what was in the wonton. ? …not a fan. Watch out for the tip calculations at the bottom of your receipt , it is done after tax is added on, which is wrong, should be calculated BEFORE TAX is added. Do your own calculation. Park in the parking structure in the back.“

“I believe they bake fresh bread in house, cut the crispy pork when you order, and it's house made soy sauce. They're on Hungry Panda (which i just learned of). Friendly cashier (Ken?). I think staff spoke English, Chinese (Canto?) and Vietnamese. Will def come back.“

“The dishes were overall tasty and came in generous portions, especially the pho. Decent prices, too.
We enjoyed the broken rice dishes; the grilled pork that came with it had a nice charred flavour and reminded us of Chinese pork jerky. We chose beef when we paid another visit, but I think the pork had better flavour.
The coffee was good, but strong. If you’re not used to caffeine, don’t expect to sleep!
Some dishes were a hit and miss. The rice cake appetiser with dried shrimp was quite bland and the broken rice special combo contained a lot of fish cake (possibly deep fried) and sausage type items, which didn’t suit our taste. It was still good, but I think we will stick to the grilled meat next time.
Regardless, good food. Happy to come again.“

“One of my favorite sandwiches ever hands down. It’s affordable, delicious and addicting. The bread is so crunchy. The flavors mesh so well together. Pro tip: I always call my order in advance so I don’t have to wait in line. Highly recommend.“

“I ordered the pho soup and man I would this is the best pho I’ve had in America. Not gonna lie, the thai tea is amazing and that boba too.“
“?????✨?✨
Visited after I got out of surgery. This place was so clean, friendly service, food came out fast. We order shrimp plate for my baby nephew, 2 pho, and a salad. Everything was presented great. On top of that the food tasted delicious and my favorite was the noodles in my pho. I’m very picky when it comes to it along with the broth. I’m definitely coming back. Especially happy since it’s around the block from my house, so I don’t have to travel far for pho. I’d be even more happy if they were open late nights when I get my pho cravings. ?“

“Very interesting rice bowl - Banh Beo, I don't think there are any in Northern California.
Spring roll also different because inside radish has a sweet and sour taste, good match with pork , so testy !
Must try when you are around Arcadia Los Angeles !“

“This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that. The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.

“This was Father's Day. The place was crowded. Tammy, the waitress, did an excellent job. There was a party of 12 making things difficult for her, but she smiled and kept her cool. This is one of my most favorite places to dine out.
Parking: Parking in the front. Didn't know that I was supposed to count the number of spaces.
Kid-friendliness: No kids in my group
Wheelchair accessibility: My wheelchair went right in .“

“Hand down the best banh cuon and bun rieu in the area. Banh cuon was handmade freshly in the restaurant - it’s so soft but tender at the same time, not as soggy like other banh cuon places. The only minus is that parking is limited and the restaurant is very tiny.“

“Was in the mood for some Vietnamese broken rice dish and ordered #31 for pick up. Everything was very flavorful, you don’t even need the fish sauce to douse the food with. Only thing that was off was the rice was a little stale. I’m guessing because I ordered close to closing time. Overall good value and you get your money’s worth of food. Bring cash or get charged a fee on your card if total is below $35“

“This Pho place is an absolute hidden gem in El Monte.
Pho Bac is splendidly delicious. Mostly importantly, the Pho was not oily or salty, opposed to many other Pho spots in this area. The soup comes out scalding, which is how I like it. Meat was fresh and tasty. The pricing for food you see on the menu is what you are expected to pay and no tax. Not expensive. The staff here is friendly and flawless. I always leave a nice tip.
For a good Pho spot on this planet, a must try!!“

“The outside of the restaurant looks kinda janky, but man, this restaurant is amazing. The food, in addition to being incredibly cheap, is also so so delicious and has very large portions to boot. From what I saw, the meals were only around $13 and the drinks $4.00. The people who work there are also very kind and welcoming.“

“First time here and I loved it! I got the vegetarian ham bahn mi, my friend the veggie turkey. Both were amazing. The bread was so crisp and light. Crunchy veggies and tasty plant based 'meat'. It did come with mayo, so not vegan without modification. They also sell the veggie deli meat by itself!
Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian ham, turkey and chicken options for the sandwiches. They do come wirh mayo, so not vegan without modification. But the ham and turkey were delicious!“

“Ahhhhh ahhhh AHHHHH!
I've found my pho place finally in SGV!!! I frequent Vinh Ky in Garden Grove and I have been on the hunt for the same decadent bowl of pho rhat is closer to me in SGV. Holy Jeebus! I found it and I cant believe it has always been close tk me all along.
Great service & great food! Their chili oil is self serve and very good! Their Che desserts are not bad, too.
The only thing that was lacking is the amount of mint/basil that they serve with their bowls, but I understand since a lot of people dont use them but Im one of those people that wanr to see all green on my bowl. But no sweat, I just asked for more!!
Thanks Pho Hai, I will be back!“

“Saigon Eden is a spacious restaurant with friendly staff. I tried the Pho and Bun Bo Hue, and both were incredibly delicious. “Food was decent better than some other Vietnamese places I've tried. I did like the rolls. One thing I didn't like was that they didn't turn the AC on and when you're in 100° weather I think if someone's paying for their food the least you could do is turn the AC on so that they can enjoy their meal. It's family owned so the family basically sat in the dining room chilling like it was their living room lol“

“Was around the area so decided to grab lunch and it wasn't as great as before. We ordered the seafood egg noodle and seafood white noodle, both lacked flavor. I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. Good thing it was a cheap lunch.“

“Recently opened its door in the Temple City, Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is the new culinary destination for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. Having moved to Temple City, it stands proudly across from Summer Roll, inviting diners to embark on a gastronomic journey to Vietnam’s former imperial capital.
The restaurant’s specialty, Bun Bo Hue, is a testament to the authentic flavors of Huế. This Vietnamese beef noodle soup, known for its spicy and robust taste, is served in a generous portion brimming with succulent meat. The rich and aromatic broth leaves a lingering warmth that is both comforting and invigorating.
For those eager to explore the breadth of Huế’s culinary landscape, the Hue Combo is a must-try. This dish is a culinary mosaic, showcasing the region’s famous noodle-based delights. It’s an ideal choice for newcomers and connoisseurs alike, offering a sample platter of Huế’s pride.
While the Bun didn’t quite meet expectations, it holds promise. A tweak in noodle texture to achieve that coveted al dente bite, paired with a more traditional Vietnamese egg roll, could elevate this dish to new heights.
The Pho presents a soulful broth that sings with depth and clarity. However, the noodles yearn for a bit more finesse to match the soup’s excellence.
Service at Kim Hoa Hue is attentive and earnest, although a broader grasp of English would enhance the overall experience. For now, Google Translate bridges the communication gap, adding a touch of modernity to the dining experience.
The ambiance is as fresh as the flavors, with a bright and contemporary setting that promises growth and refinement. Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, offering a slice of Huế’s regal cuisine with every dish. With a few culinary tweaks, this establishment is poised to become a cornerstone of the local food scene.“

“This Vietnamese restaurant might not have the most modern interior or be in the trendiest plaza, but the food and service make up for it. The staff is always friendly, and the dishes are consistently good.
One thing I really appreciate is how vegan and vegetarian-friendly the menu is. There’s a great selection of options for different diets. I tried the bánh canh and bî cúôn and they were flavorful. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or into traditional dishes, they’ve got you covered.
If you’re after solid, no-frills Vietnamese food, this place is worth checking out.“

“The place is called Pho Thanh online, but when if you go to the restaurant it's called Pho Ha Long. The restaurant doesn't use a/c, only fans. My friends and I were sweating so much. We won't be coming back to sit in anymore when it's hot. We rather order online to have to it delivered since the prices are the same and prices are lower than most other restaurants. They do not skimp out on the meat when you upgrade from L to XL size. They give you a good amount of meat but also more noodles. It was so much food, we will not get the XL size next time.If you decide to eat at the restaurant, they have a program where if you order up to 10 meals, you get 1 free.Free parking. They don't have a huge lot though.“
