“I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

“Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Some Korean chili oil in the spicy pho I ordered. Overall, not bad. If you want traditional pho, there's plenty of other options elsewhere. The broth may not be heavy in the traditional sense but it's not bad either.
While the portion isn't as packed as I wouldn't liked, it's sensible and I still left feeling full. Although, when I eat pho, I tend to over indulge and come out feeling like I'd stuffed myself silly. No knock here, just not the super giant bowls some might come to expect when ordering pho.
Add for the other options, you have some interesting choices, chicken katsu banh mi caught my eye but I was in the mood for pho.
A good mix of traditional and fusion without feeling overwhelmed with a bunch of choices on the menu.
Drinks are bottled variety which can get annoying if you wanted refills like unlimited ice tea at regular pho restaurants but it's not a deal breaker.
Overall recommended of you're now the type to turn up the nose at the mention of fusion cuisine.“

“Such a cute little space with a great ethical commitment and excellent food! I brought my partner here to grab a quick lunch to go. We each got a banh mi (I got the lemongrass chicken, no mayo, and they got the pork) and a sparkling limeade. The person who took our order was super friendly and the food came out fast. We were both impressed by just how big the sandwiches were and how much protein was on them! And the limeade was incredible - just slightly sparkling with a hint of saltiness.“

“If you’re looking for great pho, this Vietnamese restaurant absolutely delivers. The broth is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with deep flavor that tastes like it’s been simmered for hours. The noodles were fresh, the meat was tender, and the portion size was generous. Everything came out hot and beautifully prepared, with fresh herbs that really completed the dish. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. This is easily one of the best places around for a satisfying bowl of pho, and I’ll definitely be back again.“

“Can't believe I've slept on this restaurant for years.
The food does the talking here.
1. Steamed Rice Cakes with Taro 4/5
2. Spring Rolls with Chicken 5/5, an herbaceous dish, served with a subtly spicy fish sauce
3. Shaking lamb cubes 5/5, great with the Italian red
4. Weaving rice noodle with fish 5/5, the fried shallots pop in this dish
5. Clay pot rice with fish 10/5 - just get this
The remodeled interior is very welcoming, modern, and has interesting art and motorbikes from Vietnam. Classical music in background (chef's kiss).
Also great that the place serves demi-bottles of reasonably priced wine. Beer's great too.
Our server exuded hospitality, very attentive, and proud to tell us about the chef/restaurateur.
Thanks for having us. We'll be back!“

“Food: a great banh mi spot in town. I thought their crispy pork banh mi was ok, but their grilled pork banh mi was flavorful and tasty.
Service: friendly cashiers and courteous.
Atmosphere: a small shop, simple and clean.“

“Excellent bahn mi! Pictured is the classic cold cut sandwich that comes with a deliciously salty sauce on the side. The bread is the ideal texture of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you love bahn mis, this place will not disappoint! The staff is also very friendly.“

“Went there for breakfast around 10am and it was nice and empty. Food came out fast and tasted good. Came with a lot of basil and cilantro. They have an extensive menu. Only downside is the parking directly behind the restaurant is limited to 5-6 spots. If it’s full you have to park in the parking garage“

“I was always curious about sandwiches sold at pho restaurants, and this place was my first. I will say it was a fantastic sandwich. I enjoyed every crispy bite with all the veggies in the sandwich followed by the rich savory fat taste of the pork belly. The service was pretty good too, I chose a table that was “dirty”, unintentionally, and the server cleaned it before I could mention it and bought me ice cold water as if he knew I was thirsty. Everything about this little hidden spot, on the second floor of the mall, was great.“

“It's a one man band, so it took awhile for us to get our food. You will need patience. But when it comes out, it was so worth it! Next time I'd try calling and order ahead, or order a takeout. There's a lot next door that has zero marking, but you can park there.“

“Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.
Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.
Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.
Service was good. The ambiance and presentation is spot on.“

“I absolutely love this spot for Vietnamese food. Every dish I've tried has been consistently flavorful, well-seasoned, and deeply satisfying. My standout favorites include the fried egg rolls, the Banh Mi Bo Kho, and the Bo Luc Lac--each prepared with impressive attention to detail and authentic taste.
There's still so much on the menu I'm excited to explore, so I'll certainly be returning to Pho Hai. An honorable mention goes to their Spring rolls, Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Thai Tea, both of which are wonderfully bold, rich, and balanced.
If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, Pho Hai is a must-visit.“

“Recently opened its door in the Temple City, Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is the new culinary destination for Vietnamese cuisine lovers. Having moved to Temple City, it stands proudly across from Summer Roll, inviting diners to embark on a gastronomic journey to Vietnam’s former imperial capital.
The restaurant’s specialty, Bun Bo Hue, is a testament to the authentic flavors of Huế. This Vietnamese beef noodle soup, known for its spicy and robust taste, is served in a generous portion brimming with succulent meat. The rich and aromatic broth leaves a lingering warmth that is both comforting and invigorating.
For those eager to explore the breadth of Huế’s culinary landscape, the Hue Combo is a must-try. This dish is a culinary mosaic, showcasing the region’s famous noodle-based delights. It’s an ideal choice for newcomers and connoisseurs alike, offering a sample platter of Huế’s pride.
While the Bun didn’t quite meet expectations, it holds promise. A tweak in noodle texture to achieve that coveted al dente bite, paired with a more traditional Vietnamese egg roll, could elevate this dish to new heights.
The Pho presents a soulful broth that sings with depth and clarity. However, the noodles yearn for a bit more finesse to match the soup’s excellence.
Service at Kim Hoa Hue is attentive and earnest, although a broader grasp of English would enhance the overall experience. For now, Google Translate bridges the communication gap, adding a touch of modernity to the dining experience.
The ambiance is as fresh as the flavors, with a bright and contemporary setting that promises growth and refinement. Kim Hoa Hue Restaurant is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, offering a slice of Huế’s regal cuisine with every dish. With a few culinary tweaks, this establishment is poised to become a cornerstone of the local food scene.“

“My sister and I were craving an afternoon coffee. We had their ice coffee with milk. It was one of the best tasting coffees I've had. The atmosphere was chill. The establishment was clean and beautifully decorated. What I do want to remark on is the staff. A young lady by the name of Jenny surprised us by offering us a sample of a spring roll with peanut sauce. The gesture was so touching and sincere that my sister and I have planned to come back the next chance we get. By the way the spring roll was delicious and fresh.“

“Went to K5 on a Friday night since we were craving some Pho (for the first time), and had a great experience. Located in the Eaglerock area (where there are not too many pho options), K5 is one of the pho options you should add to your rotation. Good service, good food (especially on a cold night), and reasonable prices. The location is pretty large, but it gets pretty crowded (at least it was when we were there). Plenty of parking since it is a large plaza. One of the better pho options in the area.
Tip: It was a little crowded on a Friday night so we had to wait a little bit before being seated (not too long, like 5 mins).“

“Pho tai was good. Noodles and tai beef were good, broth could use a little more flavor but still good. Lychee lemonade soda had way too much seltzer, all I tasted was the soda - yuk. $4 mistake. Friendly staff. All parking spaces are sized for compact cars even if it doesn't say compact.“

“My family stopped by this place to get a weekday dinner. It was relatively quiet and a cozy spot for more intimate gatherings. The waiter was attentive and quick to refill our waters or utensils.
The pork chow fun had plenty of wok hei and wasn't too salty. Mixing it with the brown sauce made the noodles texture much more slippery. The hainan chicken was served with cold chicken and rice, but i appreciate how the rice isn't too oily and subtly seasoned. We also got green beans - you can ask for the salted fish seasoning to be taken off and to have it be sauteed in garlic only.
fyi, they only accept payment via cash, venmo, or zelle. Overall, i would come by again if i was in the area“
