“I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

“Had the pho chay (vegetable pho) with vegetable broth and the vegetable vermicelli. Veggie pho broth was too salty in my opinion. My aunt thought so too. I did like they included many vegetables. Tofu could have had more in the pho.

The vegetable vermicelli was better. Could have used a little more fish sauce. Lots of veggies.

Guy was power washing the front of the floor of the restaurant while we were there which made it hard to converse. Would suggest they do it not during opening hours or not when customers are dining as quite distracting.“

“Fantastic neighborhood lunch spot. Everything is quick, fresh and tasty! You can really tell how much love and creativity Chef Uyen puts into the menu. There are always new weekend specials and a large vegan& vegetarian selection. Several different types of banh mi sandwiches, al in delicious warm bread. The summer rolls are so refreshing in the heat and a large portion size. Their drinks are delicious too! I always grab a limeade or pennywort juice to complete the meal. I also really admire and appreciate their commitment to feeding and caring for the community through their meal program. All in all, a fantastic, delicious and ethical local spot to support ❤“

“Really good spot for takeout pho. The broth was super flavorful and still hot when I got home, which I really appreciated. Everything was packed neatly and the portions were actually pretty generous for the price.

I got the pho to-go and the ingredients all tasted fresh, especially the herbs and bean sprouts. Service was quick and easy too. Definitely one of those places I’d come back to whenever I want something warm and comforting after a long day 🍜“

“On our way home, we stopped by this restaurant to enjoy some delicious pho, and we definitely made the right choice! The pho was absolutely delicious. I ordered mine with beef ribs, and they were amazing — very tender and perfectly cooked. There was also a generous amount of tendon and tripe, which I really appreciated.

Everything tasted very fresh, and they served plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs on the side. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you so much for the delicious food!“

“Haven't heard of this place before and came to try with friends on a Friday evening. There was no wait and they have plenty of tables inside and a small outdoor patio as well.

We ordered the oxtail pho, Charbroiled beef tiny vermicelli, Charbroiled pork rice plate with steamed egg and pork skin, and pan fried rice crepe with pork and shrimp. Food was served pretty fast and employees were friendly.

The pho portion was really big with generous amount of noodles that we couldn't finish. The broth tasted good and flavorful. The tiny vermicelli was great, tasted like other Viet places I have been too and the egg rolls were really gooe. The pan fried rice crepe was also great. It was my first time trying this dish but it tasted good with the crepe, pork, and rice together. The rice plate was disappointing though since the steamed egg was a bit dry and not very flavorful so it did not taste good. The charbroiled pork was also dry and small portion compared to how much of the pork skin they gave. The pork skin also was so chewy and not good as well. I tasted better broken rice so wouldn't recommend ordering it from here.

Overall, this tasted like an authentic Vietnamese place for pho and other specialties. I would not recommend the broken rice plates here though.“

“The broken rice here is certainly good. They have the KING com tam dish for $20.99. It’s a giant plate of broken rice with a variety of meats and some veggies. This is the dish to try when you are here.

Skip the bun bo hue. Unfortunately the noodles were stuck together and the meat was overcooked. I did try the cha gio appetizer $11.99 (egg rolls), and it was really good!

The server mistook me ordering “106” for “number 6”, so when the appetizer came out, I was confused what happened to the noodles. I think there is a major language barrier here because we had to repeat ourselves 2-3 times, like asking for water or a Togo box, etc.

Free street parking or park in the Super Hawaii market parking lot. Bathroom available. Credit card is accepted. No WiFi.

(i do find the breads a little stale in general no matter how much I spend here, it might be the flour). Anyway these sourdough are amazing, no yeast, just water flour and salt! “I can't stop thinking about this restaurant. The interior is very plain, but the table has all the sauces and utensils you need. The menu has a great selection. Once you order, the food comes out fast, and it's piping hot. Everything tasted super fresh. I had the spring rolls (10/10) and the curry with vermicelli AND bread. This was a lot of carbs, but worth it! If I had to pick one, though, I'd go with the bread; it was hot and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was the last thing to come out, so I think they make it fresh. The flavor profile on the curry was amazing, and I can't compliment their mock meat enough; their chicken is some of the best I've had. My friend had the Pho and said it was great too. “Cozy old-vibe restaurant. One can walk in with family and claim any table. They are respectful of the elders and quietly serve when u ask for help. They are attentive even when busy walking about delivering for other tables. Food came quick. Table is well stocked with utensils sauces and sauce dishes. Food is well made, perfectly sauced, flavored, and in clean dishes. There is music in the background, soft atmosphere. Definitely a spot to bring the family and actually hear each other talk and allow time to pass, without worrying of being kicked out (unless restaurant flow gets busier of course)“

I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese home cooked meals at a restaurant in the area. The flavour is so authentic that can transport you back to the Southern of Vietnam (mien Tay) in a bite. We ordered the lunch set for family and cannot fault a thing. It came with canh chua, ca chien, goi tom thit, ca kho, bap cai chua. Flavour was mouth watering and all very good value for money. This is such a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“Came Thursday 9:30 pm, surprised to find the music bumping like a night club! Nice to find Vietnamese food late around here. Decor is fun too. Cool watching the videos of vendor streets in Saigon.

Enjoyed the Bun bo hue, tasty & fresh. I asked to leave out the blood cube. I was very impressed with how nice the young server was, he was very helpful & suggested that if I didn't want the pork hock pig's feet either, they could give the higher up part instead, which was very tasty. I am mostly vegetarian but had to appreciate the generous tender meat that was in this dish. He even heated my soup back up later once it got cold. The passion fruit tea was also tasty. They have lots of other specialties on the menu.

Be warned tho - later at night they play the music pretty loud -- if you're there to party, good -- but just for a dinner it was kind of a lot... When I left my ears were still ringing. I watched my server talk to a customer - both young guys - and they had to bend close to each other to hear, like old people. They should give their servers loop earplugs because they're honestly going to lose their hearing working there! Or lower the music a bit? I liked the food, but think I'll stick to day time visits & keep my hearing! 🧘🏻‍♂️🍜“

“It is a small cozy place operated a nice husband and wife couple. I normally not a fan of banh cuon, but I have to admit this is one of the best banh cuon I've ever had. We also ordered bun nuoc leo( fermented fish rice noodles soup), it came out steaming hot and fresh. It was worth the wait. Good food can't be rushed so come with an open mind that you will have to wait a long minute. I will tell y'all its worth that minute wait.“
