“I am a fan favorite of Lee’s especially the banh mi and iced coffee. When I moved back to Cali I was excited to see how many Lee’s there are through expansion. However I have been disappointed with ALL of them except for the one in Pasadena. Always great service, the bread is always soft with great texture (not stale), plenty of meat. Other Lee’s give and embarrassing amount of meat. Lee’ Pasadena I will always drive extra to come see you.“

Carrots and jalepenos v fresh and good.“

“Had the pho chay (vegetable pho) with vegetable broth and the vegetable vermicelli. Veggie pho broth was too salty in my opinion. My aunt thought so too. I did like they included many vegetables. Tofu could have had more in the pho.

The vegetable vermicelli was better. Could have used a little more fish sauce. Lots of veggies.

Guy was power washing the front of the floor of the restaurant while we were there which made it hard to converse. Would suggest they do it not during opening hours or not when customers are dining as quite distracting.“

“Had an order of Pho Tai and egg rolls. This was some of the best pho I've had. The egg rolls were great and crispy, especially with the sauce included. They have an amazing Vietnamese coffee, it was strong with a great flavor too. This is going to be a consistent place to get pho from.“

“Wanted to check this place out with my boyfriend. It was poppin on a Saturday night, which is a good sign. We got the house eggrolls, the Kobe syle beef pho and the Filet Mignon pho with the original noodle (you have an option for a fresh fatter noodle) Beyond delicious!!! The broth and meat was so flavorful
The service was very fast. I have a sensitive stomach so I probably should have avoided the egg rolls because I dont do well with certain oils and fried food but they were so freaking good. Definitely recommend this spot for amazing pho. The other dishes people were ordering that I was able to see looked really good too.“

“Tons of vegan options, tasty Vietnamese fare, and the kind of authentic experience you want.

Not to mention, the prices are fantastic, especially for LA. While we didn’t love every dish we ordered (learned we didn’t like the ‘gravy’ dishes very much), and it hasn’t replaced our other favorite options in Whittier and Van Nuys, still a good spot.

We need to come back again to give it a second try.“

“Back in October, my friends and I spent a month vacation in Vietnam and we were introduced to Com Tam. We wanted to see if King Com Tam Vietnamese Restaurant is as authentic as we had in Vietnam.

Com tam - Vietnamese broken rice is rice that was broken during the milling process. If you're unfamiliar, broken rice has a couscous-like texture. The broken rice plate options might seem extensive, but it's just rice with various combinations of pork chop, beef, pork, fried bean curd with shrimp paste, egg roll, sausage, shredded pork and skin, and steamed egg loaf. All served with veggies, a small bowl of broth, and fish dipping sauce. The plates run from $12.99 to $20.99 for the 10-item plate. If you don't see exactly the plate combination you're looking for, you can just tell the waiter which items you want and they'll charge accordingly. Just ask if you can swap items.

Not Vietnam authentic, but then again I am no expert but definitely satisfied our cravings and brought back memories of our month long trip. We loved it so much that a month ago during the rainy weather that we went back so we can try the noodle soup/pho. The portions were generous for around $13.99 a bowl. I was craving Bun bo Hue, Vietnamese spicy beef noodle soup and my friends ordered beef pho and hu tieu, a Vietnamese Phnom Penh-style seafood noodle soup with pork and shrimp. It was good but I've had better.

Food is amazing and menu items are more than the basic pho soup and rice dishes. Try the bone marrow, the spicy fish, or the filet mignon with egg noodles! Damned delicious. Staff is also very nice.“

“Went to K5 on a Friday night since we were craving some Pho (for the first time), and had a great experience. Located in the Eaglerock area (where there are not too many pho options), K5 is one of the pho options you should add to your rotation. Good service, good food (especially on a cold night), and reasonable prices. The location is pretty large, but it gets pretty crowded (at least it was when we were there). Plenty of parking since it is a large plaza. One of the better pho options in the area.

Tip: It was a little crowded on a Friday night so we had to wait a little bit before being seated (not too long, like 5 mins).“

“I was always curious about sandwiches sold at pho restaurants, and this place was my first. I will say it was a fantastic sandwich. I enjoyed every crispy bite with all the veggies in the sandwich followed by the rich savory fat taste of the pork belly. The service was pretty good too, I chose a table that was “dirty”, unintentionally, and the server cleaned it before I could mention it and bought me ice cold water as if he knew I was thirsty. The spice hits different and not sweet like other places, while the beef slices are tender and delicious while having a good amount of noodles. This time I decided to try my favorite dish com suon (porkchop with broken rice) and it didn't disappoint, 2 big porkchops cooked to perfection, tender enough to bite the fat too, SO GOOD! “Was around the area so decided to grab lunch and it wasn't as great as before. We ordered the seafood egg noodle and seafood white noodle, both lacked flavor. I had to add satay sauce to make it taste a bit better. The ice water glasses were dirty as well. I don't know if it's under new owners or new chefs but it wasn't that great. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special beef pho), and the broth was rich and aromatic. It came with a generous portion of noodles and different cuts of beef like brisket and tendon. The meat was tender, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime really brought the whole bowl together.

I also tried the spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and light, making a great appetizer before the pho. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable.
