“Great spot for soondae lovers. The soondae hot pot comes loaded with pork belly, beef, intestines and veggies, and the broth gets richer as it cooks. I liked dipping the soondae in shrimp paste for extra flavor. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. Would definitely come back.“

I also tried the red pork pozole and was ok for my standards,but for my American friend it was a 10. The bigest disappointment was the Tamale de Rajas ( cheese with jalapeño slices) it had no cheese, but had tomato, onion and jalapeño. I would not recommend it. Service was excellent, very clean establishment. Only recommendation is to offer a desert, like churro, flan or arroz con Leche. I would come back, I would like to try the albóndigas next time.“

Food is still consistent though! Mushroom in brown sauce ($12.95), vege fish in brown sauce ($12.50), and tofu pumpkin hot pot ($12.95) are still good choices and they're all on the lunch special menu!

Surface level parking in the plaza gets congested very easily, so try the 2 levels of underground parking for more spots.“

Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.“

The highlight was definitely the handmade soup dumplings. The crab roe xiao long bao was juicy with plenty of soup, and I liked that they offer a non-sweet option. The larger crab roe soup dumpling was especially memorable—rich, savory, and very nostalgic, reminded me of ones I had growing up in Jiangsu.

We also tried the Wuxi-style pork ribs and crispy eel, both well done with classic flavors. Other dishes like the rice cakes and stir-fried greens were simple but satisfying.

Overall, it’s a solid spot for Jiangzhe-style comfort food. Prices are reasonable and quality feels consistent—worth a visit if you’re craving authentic flavors.“

“Tang was exactly what we were craving after a night out. The portions were generous, and the side dishes complemented the meal well. Since the soups already include rice noodles, I skipped out on the extra rice.

We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.
