There is a smell of stale cheese in the air in most parts of the restaurant, some parts worse than others, I'm guessing from the decades of Parmesan grounded into the carpet. It was inigorable and honestly spoilt the experience.“

“I have been coming here every Saturday for 5 years straight. This is the greatest bowl of pho you will ever consume in the city of Los Angeles, possibly even the country. The broth is the definition of perfection, buttery from the fat and made from bone traditionally, not fragrant or made from a vegetable stock.

The customer service is straight forward. They take your order, and bring you your food. Just because they don’t baby you or pamper you doesn’t mean they are “rude”. With their methods of customer service, they are able to bring out your bowl of pho in 2 minutes, while providing the same equal attention to detail to the rest of the customers, and the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant.

“Love the chops a lot! But the woman server is horrible, she was very angry and taunt us because we didn't order as much as she want. She kept talking loudly about this and showed a long face even we ordered additional food afterwards, which ruined our whole experience. The men owner is good and nice. “We came here for lunch on a Sunday and waited for 45 mins before being seated. There were only two women working the front dining room and since service was slow, table turnovers were slow too. So expect a wait but the food was very good.

We like that they have pictures on their menus. We ordered the dan dan noodles, the chong qing noodles (my favorite), the pork chop noodle, youpo noodle, and xiao long bao. All were good and portions were large.

I do like the spicy mala flavors and that's in quite a lot of their dishes. Mild still has a kick to it, fyi.

The parking lot is too small for the restaurants in shopping area as is common in a lot of Asian areas. But there are plenty of free street parking around.“

“Had a yummy dinner with great service in a lovely setting. We love the hot and sour soup here and the lemon yuzu scallops are my absolute favorite! Love the beef rolls and the cauliflower dish too. Truffle xiao long bao are so fragrant and yummy! Everything is always delicious. The sticky rice drinks are so good too! One of my fav toppings anywhere! Always a delicious meal.“

“This place used to close super early despite its hours and even calling to see if it would be open but that hasn't happened in a long time... Got their bossam and a beef stew. Got the smallest bossam. These two dishes was enough for four adults. So ample portion size. Purple rice was also really tasty. Everything was pretty good, bossam especially. Would say the banchan were just ok tho.

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

“I was trying to take the godfather to the Vietnam kitchen down the street but they were closing up at 8:00 (!) and they told us that we could only get to go. Well. We wanted to talk and eat at a table. So we had both noticed this place on the way to VK . A very low-key restaurant with some high-grade beef noodle soup. Very tasty and there's a whole homemade feeling about the place which is very charming to me. A solid cucumber appetizer, the Szechuan vegetables were weirdly a little bland, or at least not as spicy or a sour as I was expecting. However, the Price is Right, the service is outstanding with it being what feels like a true mom-and-pop joint ( Bobby is the chef, and I suspect he's the pop, and looks much younger than his age), and I really like the fact that the menu was very simple. Even so I was tempted by other things on the menu, including the chicken curry, but they were out of chicken so I'll have to come back for that. Still I went with a specialty and I've been going to a lot of beef noodle soup places so I feel pretty strongly to judge that the broth was excellent. The vegetables were fresh and the meat was very good, if not as much as I wanted there to be. Overall the experience was outstanding and they were extremely hospitable, especially when we paid at 845 and I asked if they closed at 9:00 and they told us. They had closed 45 minutes earlier yet had hung around and gave no indication that we were to do anything, but enjoy our food. Very genteel and civilized. Thank you!“

“Lunch rush is always busy since it's a popular place. Come before 11am and you'll beat the rush. Vietnamese food here is tasty and the price is not too bad. Parking can be a headache during peak hours. Restaurant being on Garvey doesn't make the trip to this place any easier, but it can be worth it.“

Prime is $53. The soy sauce they use at the sauce station is more salty than the other soy sauces I've had. One of the staff, younger girl kept messing up with the soup base orders for our table and another table's. It wasn't even busy at that time. It's nice they do birthday discounts. Free drinks and ice cream so that's also a plus. Would be nice if they had strawberry ice cream instead of double cookies and cream rubs. They should add pork blood rice cakes. “This was my first time at this store and I was happy with the experience. When I entered the store I wasn't sure I was in an Olive Garden because the look was a fresher, more modern look and feel. There is a flight of stairs going to the second floor seating area. They have an elevator to the 2nd floor. There is seating on the 1st floor and at the bar behind the stairs. They even have a handicap seating spot at the bar. Blanca was my server and she gave a 5 star service. ;)“

The food that was served was delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations. However, I must express some concerns about the service that we received. The host assigned to our table did not check up on our needs as often as I had hoped for. I found myself continually having to ask for assistance and even had to raise my voice to get the attention of another hostess.

Moreover, the silverware provided was not clean, and the napkins given with the silverware were also not up to par. I believe that cleanliness should be a top priority in any dining establishment.“
