The Birria del Rey plate was flavorful. The service was quick and friendly. The place had a great family vibe. Definitely going to make this a regular stop.“

Food portions seem to have shrunk and cost gone up. Tea selection is becoming very limited. Tables are a bit dirty at times. Food tastes good though.“

The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. Friday and Saturday nights the parking can be very challenging. Once seated service was quick. But here is how it works. You order your broth selection an some premium proteins online. The rest is pretty much self service from the various refrigerators. Seafood, beef tendon, beef with cilantro, gizzards, plenty of mushrooms, and veggies. You select what you want and take it back to your table and immerse in the broth. Feels very cafe style which I just enjoyed. Totally a find. I will be back.“

“Tang was exactly what we were craving after a night out. The portions were generous, and the side dishes complemented the meal well. Since the soups already include rice noodles, I skipped out on the extra rice.

We ordered the soondae guk and the galbi tang. The galbi was rich and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the soondae (blood sausage). The texture was different, filled with a mixture of pork blood and noodles.

Overall, it was a great dining experience and a perfect choice for a morning comfort meal. Definitely a spot worth returning to.“

“Jin Hai / Beijing Pie House has gotten better over the years. The lamb and leeek meat pies arrived nice and crispy with ample soup inside. The lamb flavor was subtle and clean with a satisfying smattering of yellow leek.

The three ingredient dumplings (leek, pork, shrimp) were supple and balanced. The thick looking wrappers were deceptively supple with a bit of bite and flavor of the fillings sang a song of freshness.

Glad we came back and will put this back in our rotation.“

“It was a Sunday evening (4/5/26), and my family of three came in for dinner. Even though the restaurant was busy, the atmosphere was still very pleasant and welcoming.

Our waiter, Ben, was attentive, professional, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. George, the manager, was also very kind and approachable. He consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel truly valued as customers.

It’s so nice to see a restaurant that still takes the time to care about their guests and provide such great service. Experiences like this are what every family should receive when dining out.

The food that was served was delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations. However, I must express some concerns about the service that we received. The host assigned to our table did not check up on our needs as often as I had hoped for. I found myself continually having to ask for assistance and even had to raise my voice to get the attention of another hostess.

Moreover, the silverware provided was not clean, and the napkins given with the silverware were also not up to par. I believe that cleanliness should be a top priority in any dining establishment.“
